Danielle Koren Evers and Robert Ryan Rowe were united in marriage on Dec. 31, 2004, in a double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Doyle Smith at the First Southern Baptist Church in Great Bend. Parents of the couple are Dave and Donna Evers of Great Bend and Bob and Charlotte Rowe of Great Bend. Grandparents of the couple are Harley Evers, Marcellene McDonald, Wayne and Joan Rathbun and Bill and Pat Rowe, all of Great Bend. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose an elegant diamond-white matte satin gown styled in a strapless princess silhouette, featuring a side wrap detail and delicate crystal and seed bead embellishment on the bodice and on a panel down the side of the skirt. The semi-fall skirt swept into its own chapel train accented by the lace-up corset back detailing the bodice back. She wore an elbow-length veil with a headpiece of intricate crystal detail. The bride carried a round hand-tied bouquet of red roses. Bridesmaids were DiAnne Rome and Daria Edwards, sisters of the bride, and Misti Schmidt, sister of the groom. The bridesmaids wore their choice of various styles of black formal dress and each carried a hand-tied bouquet of cream roses. The groomsmen were Aaron Rowe, cousin of the groom, John Dixon of Lawrence, and Monte Schmidt, brother-in-law of the groom. Rachel and Gabriela Rome, Hannah Evers, Ashton Lawrence and Cassidie Schmidt, nieces of the couple, were the flower girls. Dalton Rowe, son of the couple, was carried down the aisle by his grandfather to present the rings. Instrumental music was provided by Jenny Alford of Great Bend. Danielle is a 1997 graduate of Great Bend High School. She also completed her bachelor of arts degree in English from Washburn University in Topeka. Robert is a 1996 graduate of Great Bend High School. He has also completed his bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Kansas and is currently a program business analyst for Boeing Wichita. The couple currently makes their home in Wichita.
