Beverly Joyce Koziol, 68, Olathe, died peacefully at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 14, 2006.
She was born on Nov. 25, 1937, in St. Joseph, Mo. She married John J. Koz-iol Sr. in August 1955.
Survivors include all five of the couple's children, Debra K. Bliss and her husband, Paul; John Koziol Jr. and his wife, Mandy; Steven R. Koziol and his wife, Shelly; Peggy S. Koziol-Oswald; and Kimela G. Murphy and her husband, Danny; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild; one brother and five sisters.
Beverly and John Koziol were active members of the Lenexa Baptist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the Lenexa Baptist Church, 15320 West 87th St., Lenexa, with a 12:30 p.m. graveside service at the Na-tional Cemetery in Leavenworth. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Church.

John "Brad" O'Brien
1967-2006
Independence, Mo.
John "Brad" O'Brien of Independence, Mo., died Jan. 5, 2006, after a courageous battle with liver cancer. He was 39 years old.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Mt. Washington Baptist Church, 9623 E. Independence Ave. The family requests no flowers.
He was born June 6, 1967.
Survivors include the mother, Pat O'Brien, of Basehor; the maternal grandmother, Irene Prater, also of Basehor; and several aunts and uncles, including Jack and Delores Prater, Gabe and Becky Knoch, Judy Bettis and Dick and Carol Prater. He also leaves many cousins.
Pauline Elizabeth Ruppel

Pauline Elizabeth Ruppel, 84, Kansas City, Kan., died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at Sharon Lane Health Care. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kan. Interment will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ruppel was born Feb. 6, 1921, in Harris, Kan. She was one of 11 children. She was a former member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing cards, working puzzles, working in her yard, camping and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Ruppel; a grandson, Bobby L. Castor Jr.; two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include her children, Larry (Sandy) Stephen, Bonner Springs; Bill Stephen, Sunrise Beach, Mo.; Joyce (Bob) Castor, Kansas City, Kan.; Rosemary Hayes, Kansas City, Kan.; Sandy (Mike) Sims, Kansas City, Kan.; Norma (Rocky Wooldridge) Newman, Basehor; Patricia Ruppel, Basehor; Debra (Bobby) Davis, Blue Mound, Kan.; and Annette (Ron) Weyer, Basehor; 23 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters.

Frank J. Dusselier
1910-2005
Shawnee
Frank J. Dusselier, 95, of Shawnee, died Monday, July 25, 2005, in Shawnee. Mass of Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with a rosary at 6 p.m.
Mr. Dusselier, one of 11 children, was born on Oct. 4, 1910, in Kansas City, Mo., to Victor L. and Eugenie (Soetaert) Dusselier. He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for more than 60 years. He was a member of the Shawnee Garden Club, the St. Joseph Keenagers, the Knights of Columbus, the Belgian-American Club, the Good Shepherd Silver Liners and the Shawnee Historical Society.
In his early work years, Mr. Dusselier was a truck gardener and sold produce at the Kansas City Market. He later worked for Shell Oil Co. and J.C. Nichols Co. He moved to Shawnee in the 1940s.
In the 1950s he started the Frank Dusselier Basement Builders Inc., and with four brothers, he started the Dusselier Brothers Ready-Mix Co. in Grandview, Mo. He retired from the basement company in 1979.
In retirement, he was instrumental in the founding of Old Shawnee Town. He enjoyed gardening and sharing his produce with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was married to Anna (VanDeBerghe) Dusselier for 69 years until her death May 11, 2005. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sister Mary Gregory of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth; and Mary VanKeirsbilck, and brothers Henry and Robert Dusselier.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara (the late Robert) Isom, Chicago, Ill.; and Cynthia (Ron) Wosel, Shawnee; two sons, Jim (Sharon) Dusselier and Steve (Rose) Dusselier, both of Shawnee; 12 grandchildren, Annette Isom, Robert Isom, Patrick Isom, Timothy Isom, Philip Isom, Brian Wosel, Andrea Wosel, Alesia Dusselier, Lauri Dusselier, Jeff Dusselier, Kristy Metzger, the late Devin Dusseleir and Justin Dusselier; and 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elizabeth Kolomitz, Winslow, Ariz.; Agnes Groff, Lee's Summit, Mo.; and Florence Burke, Lee's Summit, Mo.; two brothers, Charles Dusselier of Lee's Summit, Mo.; and George Dusselier, Kansas City, Mo.
