Charles T. Moulden Jr., Lt. Col. U.S. Army retired, 79, Lawrence, died Monday, May 14, at the Lawrence Presbyterian Manor. Cremation with burial of remains at the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth.
Mr. Moulden was born July 11, 1921, in Kansas City, Kan. Charles was a WW I Navy pilot/instructor. He owned Moulden Painting Company. Charles had been a flight activity commander with the Kansas National Guard for 20 years. He also served in the Army during the Vietnam conflict. He was a past commander of the American Legion Post No. 83, past member of Wyandotte Masonic Lodge No. 3, the Abdallah Shrine, and life member of the National Guard Association. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lawrence, Lawrence.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Moulden, Lawrence; one son, Charles Tom Moulden, Grand Junction, Colo.; three daughters, Charlene Biles, Bonner Springs, Jamey Wills, Shawnee, and Debbie West, Overland Park; one sister, Rita Jo Glattis, Overland Park; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers to the Lawrence Presbyterian Manor, Good Samaritan Fund, 1429 Kasold Dr., Lawrence, Kan., 66049, or to the Multiple Sclerosis Mid-America Chapter, 5443 Martway, Mission, Kan., 66205, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Albert Watterson Sr.

Funeral services for Albert Ray Watterson Sr., 71, Olathe, were Tuesday, May 22, at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Watterson died Friday, May 18, at Olathe Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 4, 1929, in Tulsa, Okla., and had lived in the Kansas City area most of his life.
He was a heavy equipment operator for 45 years for Local No. 101, working for Bowen Construction. He retired in 1990.
He was a past governor for the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1999 and a member of the Merriam Eagles Lodge.
His first wife, Elmira Ellen Gulley Watterson; a son, Danny Watterson; a daughter, Omega Sue Reynolds; and a stepdaughter, Billie Jo Hensley, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Watterson, of the home; six sons, Albert Ray Watterson Jr., Frank Watterson and John Watterson, all of Olathe, Jesse Watterson, Galitan, Mo., and Gary Watterson and Shannon Watterson, both of Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Kathy Wiser, Edwardsville, and Mary Watterson, Kansas City, Kan.; a stepson, Michael Hart, Overland Park; three stepdaughters, Vicki Lyman, Toni Hosseinpour and Sandy Hart, all of Kansas City, Kan.; and two sisters, Marie Boyer, Olathe, and Marion Brown, Nursery, Texas.
Mildred Hendee

Services for Mildred Hendee, 72, Iberia, are May 17 in the Family Worship Center, Kansas City, Kan. Interment will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens, Mo.
Mrs. Hendee died Sunday, May 13, in St. Mary's Health Center, Jefferson City.
She was born Nov. 25, 1928, at Armourdale, Kan., the daughter of Reed and Lilly Nunn. She was baptized early in life and was a member of the First Christian Church, Armourdale. She was also active in the Faith Temple Family Worship Center, Kansas City, Kan., and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of the Moose, Muncie, Kan., and the American Legion Post, Iberia, for 40 years. She was married to Edward Charles Hendee in 1949.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward, in 1977.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Louise Landess, Shawnee, and Patricia Ann Dake, Iberia; and one sister, Hazel Villeril, De Soto.
The family suggests memorials to the Faith Temple Family Worship Center Building Fund.
Fala Ellen Mark

Services for Fala E. Mark, 72, Tonganoxie, were May 18 at Quisenberry Chapel, Tonganoxie. Burial was in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Mrs. Mark died Monday, May 15, at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
She was born May 21, 1928, in Shubert, Neb., the daughter of James and Aurbie Bowers. She retired from Hemisphere Products, Kansas City, Mo., where she was office manager. She was a member of Stony Point Christian Church, Kansas City, Kan. She married Robert D. Mark in 1949.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, Tonganoxie; two sons, Steven Mark, Rogersville, Mo., and Doug Mark, McLouth; one daughter, Andrea Putthoff, Tonganoxie; one brother, Jean Bowers, Fall City, Neb.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
