Paul Clinton Seachris
PLEVNA - Paul Clinton Seachris, 75, died Feb. 9, 2000, at Leisure Homestead, Stafford.
He was born Oct. 20, 1924, at Wynoka, Okla., the son of Charles Clinton and Mary Elizabeth Dowers Seachris. A resident of Oklahoma, Texas, South Dakota and Kansas, he worked for Milwaukee Railroad and various farmers in the Pierre area.
Survivors include: five brothers, Ted, Larned, Bill, Rapid City, S.D., Roy, Thornton, Colo., Harold, Pueblo, Colo., and Marvin, Presho, S.D.; and two sisters, Elsie Bingen, Pollock Pines, Calif., and Jenny Thiejie, Yanton, S.D.
He was preceded in death by several uncles and aunts.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Plevna cemetery, with Pastor Alva Goossen presiding.

Frances Riddle Osborn
TULSA, Okla. - Frances Riddle Osborne, 81, died May 24, 2000, at Tulsa.
She was born Sept. 9, 1918, at Ramona, Okla., the daughter of John Lewis and Gladys Larkin Riddle. She was a graduate of Skiatook High School. A longtime Oklahoma resident, and a resident of Hutchinson from 1949 to 1962, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Grace Episcopal Church, Hutchinson, and was a volunteer with the Grace Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Kihekah-Steh Club, the American Legion Auxiliary and was involved for many years with the Tulsa Pow-Wow.
On Sept. 13, 1943, she married
Richard D. Osborne. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: a daughter, Sue Nell Osborn, Tulsa.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Ann Jacobson; and a brother, Buford Riddle.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Episcopal Church in Tulsa. Burial will be in Osage Gardens at Skiatook.

Loren Manford Baum
PLEVNA - Loren Manford Baum, 68, died June 24, 2000, at Medicalodge, Kinsley.
He was born Apr. 13, 1932, at Douglass, the son of Loren "Roy" and Ada Roberta Hinshaw Baum. A lifetime Plevna resident, he was a laborer.
He belonged to United Methodist Church, Larned, and the Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include: two sisters, Maxine Henry Smith, Larned, and Helen Bridgeman, Loveland, Colo.; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Plevna cemetery, with the Rev. Alva Goossen presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Monday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, or to Medicalodge, Kinsley, both in care of the mortuary.
William G. McCoy
PARTRIDGE - William G. McCoy, 80, died May 6, 2000, at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born Oct. 5, 1919, at Partridge, the son of William R. and Mary Etta Friend McCoy. He attended college at Emporia State and Kansas State universities. A lifetime Partridge resident, he was a retired farmer and pork producer.
He belonged to Partridge Community Church and was a former director of the Partridge Co-op Board. He was a U.S. Navy pilot in World War II.
On Aug. 17, 1947, he married
Joyce Barnes at Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Susan E. McClellan, Wichita; a brother, Dr. Charles T., Hutchinson; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six nephews; and six nieces.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Fair.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Pam Tinnin presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial will be in Partridge cemetery, with military rites by Fort Riley honor guard.
Memorials may be sent to the church or the American Heart Association, both in care of the mortuary.
Opal Brown
Memorial service for Opal Brown, 81, who died June 4, 2000, at Hutchinson Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. today at Hester Chapel, Wesley Towers, with Dr. Armour Evans presiding.

Rufus J. Schrock
GLENDALE, Ariz. - Rufus J. Schrock, 89, formerly of Yoder, died March 26, 2000, at Glendale, Ariz.
He was born Oct. 13, 1910, near Yoder, the son of Jonas and Susie Kauffman Schrock. A resident of Yoder for 84 years, he retired from dairy farming in 1974, lived in Hutchinson for a time and moved to Glendale in 1994.
He was a volunteer for MDS and for Meals on Wheels while living in Hutchinson.
In 1932, he married
Edna Troyer. She survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Glen, Waterloo, Iowa, Orvan, Haven, and Larry, Woodstock, Ga.; two daughters, Irene Beckler, Glendale, and Susie Graber, Peoria, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Flossie Stoltzfus, and a grandchild.
Funeral and interment were held in Glendale, Ariz.
Chapel of the Chimes, Glendale, was in charge of arrangements.

Rosella M. 'Rosie' McKenna
TURON - Rosella M. "Rosie" McKenna, 72, died May 27, 2000, at Hospice Residential Care Center, Hutchinson.
She was born July 28, 1927, at Kingman, the daughter of Joseph and Florence Boyer Gillen. A longtime Hutchinson resident, she was a nurses' aide.
She was a former member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Hutchinson.
On Oct. 17, 1945, she married
Lloyd D. McKenna at Hutchinson. He died Aug. 20, 1992.
Survivors include: two sons, Donald, Hutchinson, and Joseph, Turon; two daughters, Margaret Minor, Hutchinson, and Linda Cabrac, Sterling; two brothers, Cecil Gillen, Murdock, and Bill Gillen, Wichita; three sisters, Teresa Rattle, San Bernardino, Calif., Bobbi Gillen, Old Hickory, Tenn., and Mary Nance, Wichita; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Donna; three brothers, Tom, James and Joe; and a granddaughter.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary chapel, with Father Richard Stuchlik presiding. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, both at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Cleveland, Kan., cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County, the American Cancer Society or Neurofibromatosis, all in care of the mortuary.
Mary Lee Sampson
SYLVIA - Mary Lee Sampson, 79, of Sylvia, died June 5, 2000, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Sept. 19, 1920, at Wheeling, W.Va., the daughter of Gordon James and Grace Thompson Bigelow. She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School, and attended Hutchinson Junior College and Stephens College, Columbia, Mo. A longtime resident of Sylvia, she was a homemaker.
She married
Milton Eugene Fassnacht Jr. He died Dec. 21, 1967. On Sept. 1, 1971, she married
Max Sampson at Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, James Lee Fassnacht, St. Louis, and John Charles Fassnacht, Topeka; a daughter, Mary Lynn Rice, Wichita; a stepson, Michael David Sampson, Dallas; a stepdaughter, Marlene Arieno, Washington, D.C.; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

Sheila Manuela Crenshaw Walden
Sheila Manuela Crenshaw Walden, 28, of Hutchinson, died Feb. 12, 2000, in Coconino County, Ariz.
She was born July 5, 1971, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Jackie D. Crenshaw Sr. and Guadalupe Sanchez Palmatier. She graduated from Hutchinson High School and was a lifelong Hutchinson resident. She was a certified nurse's aide at Prairie Sunset Manor, Pretty Prairie, and worked at Pantry Plus in South Hutchinson and Wal-Mart in Hutchinson.
Survivors include: her father; her mother and stepfather, Guadalupe and Frank Palmatier; a son, Holden Shawn Walden; a daughter, Amy Marie Walden; three brothers, Jason Welles Crenshaw and Jackie D. Crenshaw Jr., and Sam Palmatier; four sisters, Laura Crenshaw, Amerie Crenshaw, Jessica Doerfler, and Amanda Craigg, all of Hutchinson; grandparents, Ernestine F. Sanchez, Pablo D. Sr. and Teresa Sanchez, and Elsie Z. and Brice E. Evans, all of Hutchinson; four nephews; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Johnson & Sons Memorial Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. W.J. Green presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, Hutchinson. The casket will remain closed. Burial will be in Eastside cemetery, Hutchinson.
