Beatrice A. Reazin
SOUTH HUTCHINSON - Beatrice Arthur Reazin, 93, died Oct. 26, 2004, at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson.
She was born Jan. 20, 1911, at Plains, the daughter of William Arthur and Edith M. Campbell Thomson. She graduated in 1930 from Moscow High School, where she was a member of the varsity basketball team that went undefeated for 31/2 years, and from Emporia Normal School. A Hutchinson resident since 1996, she was a philanthropist. She also ran Bea's Cafe in Weskan and Moscow and Bea's Ceramics in Weskan for 25 years. She also helped run Reazin and Son's Grocery Store, Weskan.
She belonged to Women's Social Christian Society; Methodist Women; Rebekah's Lodge, Sharon Springs; and the Sand Creek HDU, Weskan.
On Feb. 8, 1938, she married
Lester Irving Reazin at St. John. He died July 21, 1981.
Survivors include: a son, Wesley E. "Wes" Reazin, Hutchinson; a daughter, Leatrice Joy Walker, Hutchinson; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, William Irving Reazin; a brother, Ronald Thomson; and an infant sister, Margaret Thomson.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church, with Pastor Aln D. Stambaugh presiding. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. (CST) Friday in Weskan cemetery.

Rosella M. Smith
Rosella M. Smith, 81, died June 20, 2000, at Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson.
She was born Aug. 8, 1918, at Cimmaron, the daughter of Peter Whipf and Marie Pauls Thiessen. A longtime Hutchinson resident, she was a 1936 graduate of Hutchinson High School and attended Hutchinson Community College and Adela Hale Business School, Hutchinson. She was a homemaker.
She belonged to Trinity United Methodist Church, Women's Circle, and DUO Sunday school class, all at Hutchinson.
She married
Virgil E. Smith Jr. on Oct. 3, 1942, at Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Verle A., Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Kathy Walsten, Manhattan; and three grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Nick Warner presiding. Friends may call 5 to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Private family burial will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park, Hutchinson.

Dennis M. Schultz
Dennis M. Schultz, 52, of Hutchinson, died June 2, 2000, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita.
He was born May 1948, at Hays, the son of Sam R. and Hubertine Schmidtberger Schultz. He graduated from Buhler High School in 1966 and attended Hutchinson Junior College. A Hutchinson resident since 1960, moving from LaCrosse, he was the owner of Schultz Fence Co.
He belonged to Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council No. 612, both at Hutchinson.
On Aug. 24, 1968, he married
Shela Mann at Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Cambria Bobo, Carrie Schultz and Cassie Thompson, all of Wichita; his parents, Hutchinson; three brothers, Don, Nickerson, and Douglas and Dave, both of Hutchinson; a sister, Karen Slack, Hutchinson; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Corey Michael.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, Hutchinson. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with Father Brian Egan presiding. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Hutchinson.

Raymond A. 'Ray' Reuber
Raymond A. "Ray" Reuber, 77, of Hutchinson, died June 2, 2000, at Buhler Sunshine Home.
He was born May 21, 1923, at Paradise, the son of Alexander Michael and Eva Elizabeth Voos Reuber. He graduated from Russell High School in 1942. He worked as a machinist at Master Machine Inc., Hutchinson, retiring in 1985.
He belonged to Emanuel Lutheran Church and was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Bob Campbell Post No. 1361, both at Hutchinson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
On April 19, 1947, he married
Madaline Ruth French at Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Ronald Dean, South Hutchinson; a daughter, Susan Rae Puls, Albuquerque; two sisters, Caroline Jones, Pennsville, N.J., and Leona Atkisson, Hays; three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, August; two sisters, Elma Bjurstrum and Lorina Smith; and an infant sister, Elnora.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Pastor John E. Schroeppel presiding. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, both at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

Jelilia Bloom Wallace
COLORADO CITY, Texas - Jelilia Bloom Wallace, 58, died Jan. 12, 2001, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident at Hobart, Okla.
She was born March 28, 1942, at Hutchinson, the daughter of William and Estella Bloom. She was a Colorado City resident.
On Nov. 11, 1960, she married
Thomas Joe Wallace at Newton. He died Jan. 12, 2001.
Other survivors include: a son, Henry, Hutchinson; two daughters, Dorothy Rice, Arlington, and Darlene Lazo, Detroit; three brothers, O'Neil, Snyder, Texas, Richard, Big Spring, Texas, and William II, Lansing, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church, Colorado City, with the Rev. Sammy Elliott presiding. Burial will follow in Colorado City cemetery. Kiker-Seale Funeral Home, Colorado City, is in charge of arrangements.
Anna M. Watson
Anna M. Watson, 97, passed away Feb. 14, 2005, at Shadowland Adult Care Center, Nickerson.
She was born Feb. 14, 1908, at South Hutchinson, the daughter of Frank A. and Minnie Halling Davis. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she was the fountain manager at Weeks Drugstore and also was a daycare provider in Hutchinson.
She belonged to South Hutchinson Christian Church.
In May 1936, she married
Garland Goodman Watson at Hutchinson. He passed away in Nov. 1969.
Survivors include: two sons, John Goodman, Joplin, Mo., and Robert Garland, Wichita; a daughter, Anita Jo Peckham, Abilene, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park cemetery, Hutchinson. Memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at South Hutchinson Christian Church with Pastor Brian Barrie presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home & Crematory.
