Helen M. Parsons
Helen M. Parsons, 83, died Sept. 24, 2004, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Jan. 4, 1921, at Kirksville, Mo., the daughter of Fred Muzzey and Tilda Davidson. She graduated from Kirksville College and attended Emporia State University. A longtime Hutchinson resident, she retired from Sherman Middle School as a teacher.
She belonged to Alpha Delta Kappa, Alpha Rho Chapter, Hutchinson Area Retired School Personnel Association, State Teacher Organization and National Teachers Organization.
On Aug. 24, 1947, she married
Herbert J. "Herb" Parsons at Kirksville, Mo. He died Nov. 14, 1997.
Survivors include: several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Roberson-Polley Funeral Home, Albany, Mo. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery, Albany, Mo.

Noreen Baird
Noreen Baird, 80, died Sept. 24, 2004, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born March 2, 1924, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Chester LeeOliver and Bessie Olive Martin Marrs. She graduated from Hutchinson High School and received her radiology technician degree from Grace Hospital. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she was head of the radiology department at Hutchinson Clinic, retiring after 36 years.
She belonged to South Hutchinson United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose Hutchinson Chapter No. 1371, Ark Valley Sams Camping Club, Bluegrass Association of Kansas and Delos V. Smith Senior Center.
On April 25, 1942, she married
Clyde A. Baird at Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Randy L., and wife Marsha, Topeka; a daughter, Timora Schrader, and husband Phil, Gladstone, Mo.; two sisters, Cleo Ramsey, Hutchinson, and Colleen McIver, Partridge; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Thomas.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Richard E. Zimmerman presiding. Friends may call from 12 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, all at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County or American Cancer Society, both in care of the mortuary.
Vera P. Williams
Vera Pauline Williams, 80, died Dec. 18, 2004, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born March 13, 1924, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Earl Lee and Ollie Mae Palmatier Whitney. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1942. A Hutchinson resident, formerly of Great Bend and Nickerson, she was a homemaker.
She was of the Methodist faith.
On March 28, 1948, she married
Carl Eugene Williams at Hutchinson. He died Nov. 11, 1987.
Other survivors include: a son, Earl P., Nickerson; a daughter, Karla P. Marciniak, Cleveland; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Eugene W.; a daughter, Judith A. Jordan; five brothers, Marvin, Leroy, Hubert, Phillip and Walter Whitney; a sister, Fern Fuller; and a granddaughter.
She bequeathed her body to Kansas University Medical Center. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Patricia A. Krehbiel
HAVEN - Patricia Ann "Patti" Krehbiel, 51, died Dec. 29, 2004, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born May 20, 1953, at Coldwater, the daughter of William and Barbara Herd. Living in Coldwater, Dodge City and Hutchinson, she was a Haven resident since 1983. She was a cosmetologist for Tresses Family Hair, Hutchinson, and owner of Patti's Shear Haven, Haven.
She belonged to Haven Church of Christ was president of LaCadena Club and Haven Booster Club, all at Haven. She was a member of the Kansas Cosmetology Association.
On July 16, 1983, she married
James O. Krehbiel at Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Jennifer, of the home; two brothers, Don Herd, St. George, Utah, and Tommy Herd, South Hutchinson; and mother and stepfather, Herb and Barbara Park, Cunningham.
She was preceded in death by her father and infant sister.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Haven Church of Christ, Haven, with Buddy Aldridge presiding. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Van Campen Funeral Home Chapel, Haven.
Memorials may be sent to the church or to Haven Emergency Medical Service, both in care of the funeral home.
Lisa J. Wittman
CIMARRON - Lisa J. Wittman, 33, died Dec. 28, 2004, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born May 4, 1971, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Ronald A. and Carolyn S. Nelson Taylor. She was a graduate of Hutchinson Community College and Kansas State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree. A Cimarron resident since March 2001, moving from Hoisington, she was a grant administrator for Great Plains Development, Dodge City.
She belonged to United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, both of Cimarron. She also taught Sunday school and worked in the church nursery.
On Oct. 9, 1999, she married
Kelly J. Wittman at Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Alec, of the home; her parents, Haviland; a brother, Tom Taylor, Haviland; and grandmother, Wanda Holmes, Hutchinson.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Cimarron, with the Revs. Frank DeFisher and Ken Walker presiding. Friends may call from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Cimarron. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park cemetery, Hutchinson.

Elmer H. Yoder
YODER - Elmer H. Yoder, 71, died Dec. 29, 2004, at Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson.
He was born June 6, 1933, at Thomas, Okla., the son of Henry J. and Mary Mast Yoder. He lived in Thomas, Okla., until 1953, moving to Larned for two years and then to the Yoder area. He was a machinist at Eaton Corp.
He belonged to South Hutchinson Mennonite Church, S. Hutchinson.
On April 16, 1953, he married
Edna D. Yoder at Thomas, Okla. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons and their wives, Gary and Jewel, Harrisonburg, Va., and Duane and Kathleen, Hutchinson; two brothers, Emery, Parsons, and Ivan, Burrton; a sister-in-law, Fern Yoder, Thomas, Okla.; stepmother, Laura Yoder, Sarasota, Fla.; and six grandchildren, Brendan, Stephanie and Kyle Yoder, Harrisonburg, Va., and Brad, Kelly and Greg Yoder, Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, Paul, and Roman; and a sister, Lorene Yoder.
Memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at South Hutchinson Mennonite Church, S. Hutchinson, with the Rev. Howard Wagler presiding. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, both days at the church. Burial will be at 2 p.m. preceding the memorial service, in Yoder Mennonite Church cemetery, Yoder.
