Isa F. Healzer
WARSAW, Mo. - Isa Flo (Peggy) Healzer, 98, of Warsaw, Mo., went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005.
She was born Jan. 18, 1907, at Mercer, Mo.
She met and married
Herman Healzer at Hutchinson. He preceded her in death in 1971. After his death Peggy moved back to the Kansas City area before moving to Warsaw.
She was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and friend. She will be remembered for the Christian example she set for others, and her love of family and life. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by: three children, Jeane Worth, Warsaw, Mo., Dennis and Goria Healzer, Shawnee, Kan., and James and Helen Healzer, San Jose, Calif.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren with the ninth on the way.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter in 1992.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Heritage Funeral Home, Hutchinson.
Sister Joan Blick
WICHITA - Sister Joan Blick, 81, died Jan. 29, 2005.
She was born May 29, 1923, at Hutchinson, the daughter of John N. and Grace B. Kennedy Blick. She received a bachelor's and master's in education. A sister with the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, she was a retired elementary teacher.
Survivors include: five brothers, John, Tom, Roy and Fred, all of Hutchinson, and Maurus, Topeka; two sisters, Sister Carmelita and Sister Noella; Sisters of the ASC community; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Wichita. Wake service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Adorers of the Blood of Christ.
Memorials may be sent to the Retirement of Sisters, ASC, in care of DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, Wichita.
Rose M. Kirkpatrick
NICKERSON - Rose Mary Kirkpatrick, 91, died Jan. 30, 2005, at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Dec. 9, 1913, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Andrias and Katie Zsizsik Magyar. She was a Hutchinson resident for 49 years, moving to Nickerson in 1962. She worked for Richards Schebel Candy Company, F.W. Woolworth Company and was a waitress at Maymes Cafe and Margaret's Place. Later in life she was a homemaker.
On Sept. 4, 1928, she married
Vernon L. Nelson at Hutchinson. On Dec. 22, 1962, she married
W. Meredith Kirkpatrick at Hutchinson. He died Dec. 9, 2002.
Survivors include: a stepson, Mark Kirkpatrick, Collierville, Tenn.; two daughters, Cara Jean Mark, Hutchinson, and Nancy R. Mangels, Nickerson; three stepdaughters, Jean Shively, Burlington, Wash., Judy Luginsland, Allen, and Eleanor Weltmer, Wildwood, Mo.; eight grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 11 stepgreat-grandchildren; and 10 great- great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Andy and Fred Magyar; a sister, Anna Nelson; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park cemetery, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Melvin Walton presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County or American Heart Association, both in care of the funeral home.
Genevieve B. Dodd
Genevieve B. Dodd, 96, died Jan. 28, 2005, at Good Samaritan Center, Hutchinson.
She was born June 30, 1908, at Ellinwood, the daughter of Edward and Minnie Komark Doherty. She graduated from Great Bend High School, Great Bend. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she was a retired bookkeeper for Hutchinson Clinic.
She belonged to St. Teresa's Catholic Church and Lysle Rishel American Legion Post No. 68 Auxiliary, both at Hutchinson.
Survivors include: a daughter, Sharon Warner and husband Harold, Manhattan; a sister, Adalaid May, Hutchinson; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur.
A private family graveside service will be held in Lakin-Comanche cemetery, Ellinwood. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, all at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The casket will remain closed.

Rick DeVault
FORT WORTH, Texas - Rick DeVault, 59, died Jan. 27, 2005.
He was born Oct. 30, 1945, at Hutchinson, the son of Leland T. and Ona Mae DeVault.
He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1989.
On Jan. 13, 1966, he married
Donna Schooley. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons; a daughter; five brothers; a half brother; a sister; a half sister; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bethesda Community Church, Fort Worth.
Greenwood Funeral Home, Fort Worth, is in charge of arrangements.
Adam G. Capps
Adam Gale Capps, 28, died Jan. 26, 2005, at a family residence, Hutchinson.
He was born April 11, 1976, at Hutchinson, the son of Robert Gale Capps and Gail Yvonne Graham Richard. A longtime Hutchinson resident, he attended Hutchinson High School and was a student in his last semester of architectural engineering at Wichita Technical Institute.
Survivors include: his mother and stepfather, Gail and Dr. Terry Richard, North Little Rock, Ark.; his stepmother, Cindy Capps, Hutchinson; three sisters, Emily Richard, North Little Rock, Annie Capps, Hutchinson and Amanda Capps, Topeka; and grandparents, Don and Mary Graham and Hadley Capps, all of Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Robert; and grandmother, Rosalie Capps.
Parish rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson, with Father Ned Blick presiding. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.

Bradley L. McIntosh
Bradley L. McIntosh, 18, died Jan. 28, 2005, at Newton Medical Center, Newton.
He was born Feb. 23, 1986, at Hutchinson, the son of Sondra McIntosh. He was employed at Norcraft Industries, Newton.
Survivors include: his mother, Newton; and three sisters, Amber McIntosh, Newton, D.D. McIntosh, Chicago, and Audrey McIntosh, Hutchinson.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton, with Pastor Sandy Killfoil presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
