Mass was Jan. 21 at St. Casimir Church with Rev. Gary Applegate officiating. Burial with military honors was at Ft. Leavenworth National cemetery.

Floyd I. Dugan, 75, of Wichita, father of Betty Wright of Park City, died Jan. 14, 2003. He was a retired Hallmark lithographer and Emprise Bank part-time employee. Graveside service was Jan. 17 at Resthaven cemetery.

Harold Manlove

Harold T. Manlove, 91, of Wichita, brother of Laura Pavey of Valley Center, died Jan. 15, 2003. He was a retired Motor Equipment Co. wholesale automotive supply employee. Service was Jan. 17 at West Side Christian Church.

J.T. “Pete” Swindle

J.T. “Pete” Swindle, 65, of Valley Center, Copeland Corporation manufacturing employee, died Jan. 14, 2003. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Service is at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Hillside cemetery, Sedgwick.

Kenneth King

Kenneth R. King, 72, of southeast Butler County, father of Kenna Sue King of Valley Center, died Jan. 20, 2003 of complications due to cancer. Visitation is from 5 to 7 tonight (Thursday) at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta, with a Masonic service immediately following. Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church of Augusta, 2420 N. Ohio. Graveside service is at Sunset Lawns cemetery, El Dorado.

Malcolm Wade

Malcolm Elbert Wade, 87, formerly of Valley Center, died Jan. 11, 2003, at Texas State Veterans home in Bonham, Texas. Services were Jan. 18 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Joshua, Texas. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery, Cleburne, Texas.

Pauline Smith Oshel, 89, of Whitewater, grandmother and grandmother-in-law of Pat and Martin Pugh and great-grandmother of Sara and Cory Pugh, all of Valley Center, died Jan. 19, 2003. She was a homemaker. Service was Jan. 22 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, Valley Center. Burial was at Fredonia cemetery, Fredonia.

He was employed in parts and maintenance for Thayer Aerospace. Service was Jan. 15 at Sedgwick Christian Church, Sedgwick, with Pastor Kim Beckwith officiating. Burial was at Hillside cemetery, Sedgwick.
