Clyde L. Plumer, 81, of Sedgwick, father and father-in-law of Gary and Mickey Plumer and grandfather of Kelley and Cassody Plumer, all of Valley Center, died March 8, 2002. He was the retired owner of Kansas Drywall Supply of Wichita, Hutchinson and Salina. Service was March 12 at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita.

Harvey E. Nordstedt, 93, of Wichita, brother of Rosetta Hutchens and uncle of Larry Nordstedt, both of Valley Center, died March 8, 2002. He was a retired Case Manufacturing Co. welder. Graveside service was March 11 at Pleasant Valley cemetery, Bentley.
Willard Unruh
Willard H. Unruh, 82, of North Newton, father of Allan W. Unruh of Valley Center, died March 9, 2002. He was a commercial business maintenance engineer. Visitation with family is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today (Thursday) at 201 W. 27th, North Newton. Memorial service is at 3 p.m. Friday at Bethel College Mennonite Church with Pastors Heidi Regier Kreider and Norma Johnson officiating.
Rita Dearmond
Rita Gertrude DeArmond, 82, of Wichita, mother and mother-in-law of Debby and Murray Dean and grandmother of Kevin, Maggie, Alan and Christopher Dean, all of Valley Center, died June 10, 2002. Funeral mass was June 13 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Nyoka Dine
Nyoka Rose Dine, 59, of Wichita, mother of Jackie Dine Walker of Park City, died June 13, 2002. She was a homemaker. Memorial service was June 19 at Resthaven Mortuary.

Carl Lee Swanson, 85, of the Valley Center and Wichita area, retired owner of Swanson Tree Service, died June 16, 2002. Service was June 19 at Greenwood cemetery, Newton.
Margot Sweet
Margot May Mangan Sweet, 67, of Wichita, retired Wesley Hospital transcriptionist, died June 18, 2002. Memorial service is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. Private burial is at Fort Scott.
She was born Oct. 20, 1934, in Kimball, Neb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Sweet; parents, Erwin and Neva Mangan, and a sister, Marie Zumbrunn.
Survivors include her sister, Sarah Norris of Cheyenne, Wyo.; nephews, Walt Zumbrunn of Pennyslvania, Ric Zumbrunn of Nebraska; niece, Linda Dooley of Washington; eight great-nieces and nephews, and three great-great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established with First United Methodist Church. Baker Funeral Home has charge.

Gordon H. Goering, 53, of McPherson, brother of Vera Jean Shaw of Valley Center, died June 17, 2002. He was a former Central Plastics employee. Service is at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at McPherson City cemetery.
