BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan. - Services for Evelyn Graham, 72, 1330 Grant Ave., who died Tuesday, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Picher, Okla.
Burial will be in Baxter Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Barnett, Danny Barnett, Billy Conner, Jerry Coatney, Danny Stacy and Donnie Fenton.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Lula Heger
BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan. - Lula Parsons Heger, 99, Baxter Springs, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 1997, at a local nursing home after a short illness.
Mrs. Heger was born Aug. 4, 1897, in Alba, Mo.
She moved to Baxter Springs in 1924 from Picher, Okla.
She had been a teacher in local schools for many years.
She was a member of Baxter Springs First Christian Church.
She married Ray Parsons in 1916 at Alba.
He died in 1961.
A daughter also preceded her in death.
Survivors include three stepsons, James A. Heger, Joplin, Mo., Luke Heger, Pinehurst, N.C., and Paul Heger, Wichita; two stepdaughters, Clare Yates, Richland, Wash., and Rose Ann Moore, Springfield, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-step-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Baxter Springs First Christian Church.
Ed Snider, minister, will officiate.
Burial will be in Baxter Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sam Weaver, Larry Bingham, Kent Warshler, Glen Grogts, Mike Cook and Floyd Steele.
Contributions may be made to Baxter Springs First Christian Church, in care of Abbott Funeral Home, Baxter Springs.
Ronnie Walton
GALENA, Kan. - Services for Ronnie Walton, 55, Galena route 2, who died Monday, will be at 2 p.m. today at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena.
The Rev. J.W. Stephenson will officiate.
Burial will be in Lowell (Kan.) Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Stansberry, Jerry Richie, Charles Rogers, Chet Walton, Doug Fletcher and Gary Vickers.
Judith Barnes
OSWEGO, Kan. - Judith Gay Ruttgen Barnes, 49, rural Oswego, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1997, at Labette County Medical Center, Parsons, after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Barnes was born June 3, 1947, in Oswego, where she attended school.
She was graduated in 1965 from Labette County High School in Altamont.
She had worked a few years for the Census Bureau in Pittsburg and at Labette County Courthouse and had been a secretary for several years for Unified School District No. 504.
She married William Barnes on April 12, 1969, in Oswego.
He survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Jeffrey Barnes, of the home; a brother, Darrell Ruttgen, Oswego; a sister, Carol Wimp, Oswego; and her mother, Alene Ruttgen Stillwell, Oswego.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Murdock Funeral Home, Oswego. Paul Wand, minister, will officiate.
Burial will be in Oswego Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Oswego Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
Opal Blackburn
PARSONS, Kan. - Opal May Blackburn, 84, 2618 Broadway St., died at 11:47 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 1997, at her home after an illness.
Mrs. Blackburn was born May 2, 1912, at Frontenac.
She had lived in Dennis and Labette City before she moved to the Parsons area.
She was a homemaker and had worked for the Garment Factory at Oswego for a few years.
She married Riley N. Blackburn on June 27, 1933, at Oswego.
He died Jan. 27, 1978.
One daughter also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Vernon Blackburn, Oswego; three daughters, Fern Franklin, Labette City; Lavena Kelley and Dorothy Blackburn, both of Parsons; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Murdock Funeral Home, Oswego.
Burial will be in Labette City (Kan.) Cemetery.

Mrs. Graham was born Jan. 14, 1925, in Picher, Okla.
She moved to Baxter Springs in 1977 from Picher.
She was a homemaker.
Her husband, William Henry Graham, died Aug. 12, 1979.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Thompson, Miami, Okla., Hobert "Hobie" Lamb, Cardin, Okla., and Fred Barnett, Quapaw, Okla.; a daughter, Marilyn A. Bunce, Baxter Springs, and Shirley Bryant, Caney; two brothers, Donnie Fenton, Baxter Springs, and Bobby Fenton, address unknown; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
