HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Wayne Leroy Swanson, 74, Huntsville, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004.
Mr. Swanson was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Kipp, Kan. He was an aerospace engineer for 45 years, retiring in 1995, and then a farmer in Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, Maralee; three sons, Bruce of Madison, Steve of Meridianville and Alan of Huntsville; three brothers, Romaine of Gypsum, Kan., Gerald of Jefferson City, Mo., and Melvin of Derby, Kan.; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Berryhill Funeral Home, Huntsville. Burial will be in Huntsville Memorial Gardens.

Francis Mendoza Lance Tetreault
MILTONVALE -- Francis Mendoza Lance Tetreault, premature son of Henri and Crystal Tetreault, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his brother, Henri James Ray Armond Tetreault; his grandparents, Diane Tetreault of Miltonvale, Paul Pearson of Candia, N.H., and Janet and Glen Nelson of Miltonvale; and his great-grandparents, Jim L. Morris and Khali Meyers, both of Miltonvale.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Phelps Funeral home, 217 W. First, Miltonvale 67466. Burial will be in Miltonvale Cemetery.
Victor E. Wagoner
FRANKLIN, Neb. -- Victor E. Wagoner, 90, Franklin, formerly of Hoxie, Kan., died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004.
Mr. Wagoner was born Dec. 1, 1913, in Sheridan County. He was a retired rancher.
His wife, Ella, died in 2002.
Survivors include four sons, Victor J. of Edmond, Kan., Norbert and John, both of Franklin, and Nick of Columbus; seven daughters, Janet Miller of Lincoln, Violet Kinderknecht of Almena, Kan., Arleen Spresser and Linda Zierlein, both of Norton, Rosalie Bainter of Selden, Elaine Milkie of Franklin and Roxie Bruggeman of Roseland; 43 grandchildren; 94 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Franklin. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bloomington.
A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hutchins Funeral Chapel, Franklin.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, and 10 a.m. until the service Thursday at the church.
Robert Lee "Bud" Witt
Robert Lee "Bud" Witt, 76, Salina, formerly of Gorham, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004.
Mr. Witt was born Feb. 29, 1928, in Walker.
Survivors include a brother, Donald of Hays; four sisters, Doris M. Dreiling of Gorham, Twila Mae Froelich of Russell, Betty Ann Wall of Wichita and Alice Presti of Waltham, Mass.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Gorham. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Gorham.
A rosary will be said at 1:15 p.m. Friday at the church.

Keri Taylair Zimmerman, infant daughter of Richard Zimmerman and Jennifer Lien, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004.
Keri was born Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004.
In addition to her parents, Keri is survived by a brother, Kasey Lien of the home; her grandparents, Gary and Rhonda Gabel and Rick and Glenda Zimmerman, all of Great Bend, and Jerry and Lois Holtz of Salina.
Private services were held at Carlson-Ford-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina. Burial was in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
Gladys Violet Bishop
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -- Gladys Violet Bishop, 94, Palm Springs, formerly of Leoti, Kan., died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004. Mrs. Bishop was born Gladys Violet Leeper on Dec. 21, 1909, in Syracuse, Kan. She helped raise her four brothers and sisters after her mother died when Gladys was nine. She graduated from Rolla (Kan.) High School in 1929. She earned her teaching certificate and taught for five years in one-room schoolhouses. She was a homemaker and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Desert Hot Springs, and a member of Rebekah Lodge, a former member of First Baptist Church and a Girl Scout leader and board member for 15 years, all in Leoti, Kan. Her husband, Verla Jay, died in 1957. Survivors include two sons, Max Delmer and wife Joellen of Salina, Kan., and Carl David and wife Leta of Palm Desert; a daughter, Twila Fern Hartz and husband Barry of Apple Valley; a stepson, James Arthur Bishop and wife Marie of Denver; two stepdaughters, Mary Lucille Cantrell and husband John of Phoenix and Leona Maxine DeLissa and husband L.A. "Gus" of Meade, Kan.; five grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Leoti, Pastor Dick Odum officiating. Floyd M. Edgington, 75, Salina, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004. Mr. Edgington was born Nov. 10, 1929, in Decatur County. He was in aircraft avionics and had worked for Boeing, Cessna and the U.S. Army at Marshall Field, Fort Riley. He had been a delivery man for NAPA and a security guard for Exide Technologies (Battery), Salina. He enjoyed yard work, flower gardening and sports, especially University of Kansas Jayhawk basketball and Kansas State University Wildcat and Kansas City Chiefs football. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Edna Edgington; and two brothers, Allen and Ivan. Survivors include his wife, Marcella, of Salina; a son, Jim of Bella Vista, Ark.; two daughters, Diana Booze and husband John of Lewisville, Texas, and Vicky Melton and husband Dean of Turon; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Kuhn, in 1971 and her second husband, Eddie Frank, in 1987. She graduated from Beloit High School and attended Kansas State University at Manhattan. She married Wade Mountz on Sept. 5, 1970, and lived in Salina, Kan., for 10 years before moving to Colorado Springs in 1986. She was an account manager at Valdez International. She was a member of a local chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Colorado Springs. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob. Survivors include her husband, Wade, of the home; a son, Scott and wife Miranda; a grandson, Scotty Mountz; her mother, Arlene of Kansas; and two brothers, Rod and Brad, both of Kansas. WAMEGO -- Rosanna Marie Savery, 81, Wamego, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004. Mrs. Savery was born Rosanna Marie Perret on Nov. 13, 1923, in Aurora. She worked at an aircraft plant in Concordia during World War II. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 2003; and a son. Survivors include three daughters, Sally Savery of Wamego, Cynthia Doza-Goodman of Gill, Colo., and Mary Charland of Wakefield; two sons, Daniel Alderson and Roger Savery, both of Salina; two brothers, Gilbert Perret of Concordia and Pete Perret of Salina; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dawson was born Donna B. Thorman on Aug. 12, 1919, in Blue Rapids. She was a homemaker and with her husband owned and operated Russell Flower and Gift.
Survivors include her husband, George Byron "Bub," of the home; a son, Thomas of Apex, N.C.; a daughter, Susan Retter of Concordia; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Russell. Private family inurnment services will be in Russell City Cemetery.

EVEREST -- Mildred Marie Eyer, 83, Everest, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004.
Mrs. Eyer was born Mildred Marie Crim on May 19, 1921, in Everest. She and her husband owned and operated Eyer Food Market in Everest for 34 years.
She was preceded in death by a son, Keith.
Survivors include her husband, William "Kenneth," of the home; a son, John of Belleville; two grandsons; and a great-grandson.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary, 909 Central Ave., Horton 66439. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Everest.

QUINTER -- William R. Jamison, 89, Quinter, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004.
Mr. Jamison was born Jan. 2, 1915, in Gove County. He was a retired dairy farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna L., in 2001; a daughter, Ada Maxine Jamison; and a grandson.
Survivors include four sons, Calvin, Charles, Gary "Chub" and Galen E., all of Quinter; two daughters, Anna Mae Hirt of Westphalia and Janet Edgecomb of Kokomo, Ind.; a brother, Houston of Collyer; 20 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.

Everett Wesley Jukes
Everett Wesley Jukes, 88, Salina, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004.
Mr. Jukes was born Jan. 30, 1916, in Salina. He was a Union Pacific Railroad conductor and brakeman, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Salina, was past president of Union Pacific Jr. Oldtimers and was a Golden Gloves boxer. He was a 1936 graduate of Salina High School and was a member of the high school football team.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace A., in 1993; a son, Donald Wesley Jukes, in 1970; and a daughter, Karla Jean Jukes, in 1964.
Survivors include a son, Ed Jukes of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Karma Tidemann of Valley Center; a sister, Lucille McKeown of Valley Center; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, 122 N. Eighth, Salina. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

BERTHOUD, Colo. -- Larry Kastle, 61, Berthoud, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004.
Mr. Kastle was born Jan. 4, 1943, in Kirwin, Kan. He was a union iron worker in construction.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl, of the home; a son, Tracy of Windsor; a daughter, Lori Ungaro of Paonia; two brothers, Rick of Windsor and Mike of Leroy, Kan.; a sister, Cindy Kee of Sandwich, Ill., his parents, Bob and Amy Kastle of Phillipsburg, Kan.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. today at United Methodist Church, Berthoud.
A second service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, Kirwin, Kan. Inurnment will be in Bogart Cemetery, south of Kirwin, Kan.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
