Mrs. Griffey was born Artha Joyce Billips on Sept. 8, 1935, near Edmond. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Burton, of Hays; a son, Randall of Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Cindy Bauer of Hays, Gwen Buscher of Overland Park and Carolyn Long of Hill City; three sisters, Paula Smith of Sun City West, Ariz., and Doris Minks and Wava Reed, both of Hays; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hill City. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.

GOODLAND -- Donna D. Hurd, 69, Goodland, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004.
Mrs. Hurd was born Donna D. Hayden on Nov. 30, 1935, in Goodland. She was a retired clerk at the Sherman County treasurer's office.
Her husband, Dick, also died Dec. 5, 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Hurd of Kansas City, Mo., and Timothy Hurd of Raymore, Mo.; two sisters, Vida Rice of Caldwell, Idaho, and Charlene Kramer of Goodland; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

His wife, Donna, also died Dec. 5, 2004.

Mr. Littlechild was born Dec. 8, 1917, in Trego County. He was a farmer and mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Esther, of Hays; a son, Dennis of Loveland, Colo.; two daughters, Annie Zachman of Hays and Brenda Flinn of Olathe; a brother, Kenneth of WaKeeney; four sisters, Evelye Tegtmeyer, Mary Ellen Overland and Gladys Jones, all of WaKeeney, and Betty Elders of Milwaukie, Ore.; three grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.

Mrs. Lockard was born Marjorie P. McCall on June 1, 1913, in rural Culver. She worked as a tailor at Palace Clothing and J.P. Roth & Sons, Salina. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Salina, United Methodist Women, Methodist Women Concern Group, Federated Club, Mother's Club, Carpenter's Auxiliary and Lockard Women's Society.
She was preceded in death her husband, Wayne B., in 1986; four brothers, Clair, Vernon, Glenn and George; and two sisters, Leola Johnson and Leora Rinker.
Survivors include a son, Daniel and wife Janet of Vienna, Va.; two daughters, Sharon Becker and husband Dick of Salina and Carol Sue Wright of Cambria, Calif.; a brother, Harold McCall of Springfield, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Esther, in 1979.
