Mr. Larson was born Aug. 8, 1964, in St. Francis. He was an EO specialist for the state highway department.

Survivors include his wife, Kayleen, of St. Francis; a son, Tyler, of the home; a brother, John, of St. Francis; and his mother, Carol Larson, of St. Francis.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church, St. Francis. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Joe Larson Memorial Fund.

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Knodel Funeral Home, 202 S. Benton, St. Francis 67756.

AURORA, Colo. — Ethel Alice Lewis, 90, Aurora, died Thursday, March 24, 2005.

HILLSBORO — Dean D. Ollenburger, 78, Hillsboro, died Saturday, March 26, 2005.

Mr. Ollenburger was born Dec. 29, 1926, in Durham. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Edith, of Hillsboro; a son, Kenneth of Hillsboro; three daughters, Carolyn Kleiber, Marolyn Schlehuber and Sharolyn Buller, all of Hillsboro; his mother, Hannah Ollenburger, of Hillsboro; two brothers, Wayne of Hillsboro and Delton of Moundridge; a sister, Pauline Harms of Hillsboro; and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Durham. Burial will be in Durham Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church or Hospice Care of Kansas.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington, Hillsboro 67063.

ABILENE — Samuel M. “Sam” Page, 73, Abilene, died Sunday, March 27, 2005.

Erma Ann Peterson Patrick
LINDSBORG — Erma Ann Peterson Patrick, 96, Lindsborg, died Saturday, March 26, 2005.

Mrs. Patrick was born Erma Ann Reed on Jan. 7, 1909, near Assaria, to George A. and Edith M. (Wilson) Reed. She was a homemaker and a member of Falun Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Chester Nels Peterson Sr. in 1976 and Clarence Patrick in 2002; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, Chester Peterson Jr. of Lindsborg; four grandchildren, Joy Anckner of Jackson, Wyo., Nels Peterson and Erik Peterson, both of Lindsborg, and Dr. Ragnar Peterson of Fairway; seven great-grandchildren, Forest Franks and Jedediah Franks, both of Fort Myers, Fla., Ian Franks and Jacob Franks, both of Jackson, Wyo., and Elias, August and Seth Peterson, all of Lindsborg; and two great-grandchildren, Noah and Dinah Franks, both of Fort Myers.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Falun Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Salemsborg Lutheran Church Cemetery, Salemsborg.

Memorials may be made to the Erma Reed Peterson Scholarship, Kansas University Endowment, P.O. Box 928, Lawrence 66044-0928, or in care of Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, P.O. Box 386, Lindsborg 67456.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

MANKATO — Walter S. Rourke, 78, Mankato, died Sun., March 27, 2005.

Waneta Fay Redding Schulz
BUSHTON — Waneta Fay Redding Schulz, Bushton, died Sunday, March 27, 2005.

Mrs. Schulz was born Waneta Fay King on June 13, 1913, at Joplin, Mo. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Glen Ivan Redding in 1957 and John Schulz in 1991; and a grandson.

She is survived by two sons, Don Redding of Bushton and Dale Redding of Augusta; two daughters, Conne Appel, Ellsworth, and Sue Meier, Ellinwood; a sister, Patricia Beckner of California; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, 415 N. Main, P.O. Box 146, Hoisington 67544. Burial will be in Bushton Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Bushton Community Development or a charity of the donor’s choice, in care of the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Ralph L. Thomas
BOGUE — Ralph L. Thomas, 91, Bogue, died Friday, March 25, 2005.

Mr. Thomas was born March 29, 1913, in rural Palco. He was a farmer and stockman.

He is survived by his wife, Harriett, of Bogue; a daughter, Barbara Vanderhoff of Tempe, Ariz.; a brother, Doyle of Bogue; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Spencer-Stinemetz Chapel, 522 N. Pomeroy, Hill City 67642. Burial will be in Morlan Township Cemetery, rural Palco.

Memorials may be made to Dawson Place Nursing Home, Hill city.

There will be no visitation.

Charles N. Yenkey
TOPEKA — Charles N. Yenkey, 90, Topeka, died Saturday, March 26, 2005.

Mr. Yenkey was born Feb. 28, 1915, in Grantville. He was a farmer.

Survivors include a niece Nadine of Topeka; and a nephew Norman of Salina.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Countryside United Methodist Church, Topeka.

Memorials may e made to a charity of the donor’s choice, in care of Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas, Topeka 66608.

The body was donated to the KU Medical Center.

Ferdinand William Hachmeister
NATOMA — Ferdinand William Hachmeister, 98, Natoma, died Friday, April 1, 2005.

Mr. Hachmeister was born July 17, 1906, north of Natoma. He was a farmer and stockman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonita, in 1985; a son, George; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.

Survivors include four sons, Donald of Hill City, Marvin of Manhattan, and Herbert and Paul, both of Natoma; a daughter, Mary Ann Beisner of Natoma; a brother, Arthur of Natoma; 22 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren and stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church, Natoma. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church, KHAZ Lutheran Hour, Natoma Community Center or Rooks County Nursing Home, in care of Pohlman-Heise Mortuary, 701 N. First, Natoma 67651.

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and 9 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the church.

Eugene B. Hatch
HOPE — Eugene B. Hatch, 83, Hope, died Saturday, April 2, 2005.

Mr. Hatch was born Jan. 26, 1922, in Hoyt. He was a retired plant supervisor for a custom packaging company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois; and a son, Larry B.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda M. Riedy of Hope; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Hope. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.

A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at Carlson-Becker Funeral Home, 106 N. Second, Hope 67451.

Memorials may be made to the church or Dickinson County Hospice.

Visitation will be at the funeral home.

Ruth L. Ingemanson
MARQUETTE — Ruth L. Ingemanson, 91, Marquette, died Saturday, April 2, 2005.

Mrs. Ingemanson was born Ruth Louise Linquist on Oct. 31, 1913, in Clay County. She and her husband owned Al’s Sundries in Marquette and she also worked at Marquette Farmers State Bank and Marquette Tribune.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johannes Alfred, in 2001; and a sister, LoRena Miller, in 1988.

Survivors include a son, William “Bill” and wife Sharon of Marquette; two daughters, Ann Johnson and husband Richard of Lindsborg and Mary Wilson and husband John of Minneapolis; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Marquette Elim Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Elim Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church or Riverview Estates, Marquette.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, P.O. Box 386, Lindsborg 67456, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.

Patricia Q. Newbill
WICHITA — Patricia Q. Newbill, 103, Wichita, formerly of Salina, died Saturday, April 2, 2005.

Mrs. Newbill was born March 16, 1902, in Saline County, the daughter of the late James Patrick and Mary Josepha (Wagner) Quinn. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Newbill.

Survivors include two nephews, James E. Quinn of Oklahoma City and Thomas P. Quinn of Lakewood, Colo.; and a niece Lisa C. Quinn of Wichita.

Services are pending with Carlson-Ford-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina 67401. Inurnment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.

Armand White
Armand White, 92, Salina, died Sunday, April 3, 2005.

Ida May Willson
TOPEKA — Ida May Willson, 84, Topeka, died Saturday, April 2, 2005.

Miss Willson was born Jan. 7, 1921, in Dorrance, the daughter of Floyd and Ida Grace Ruby Willson. She graduated from Asbury School of Nursing in Salina in 1943 and was a World War II Navy nurse from 1944 to 1946. She was a registered nurse at Stormont-Vail Hospital from 1946 to 1949 and then a nurse at the Goodyear Plant in Topeka, retiring in 1986. She was an associate member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church and a member of Bunker Hill United Methodist Church, Eastern Star at Bunker Hill, Goodyear Leisure Club and American Legion Post 400.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and seven brothers, Verne, Edward, Emery, Lawrence, Lee Roy, Dean and Duane.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Phillips of Topeka; a brother, Donald Willson of Wichita; and 20 nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pohlman-Heise Mortuary, 610 N. Maple, Russell 67665. Burial will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, 2915 S.W. Eighth, Topeka 66606, or Bunker Hill United Methodist Church, Bunker HIll 67626.

She will lie in state after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 S.W. 10th, Topeka 66604, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the mortuary in Russell.

Deloris M. Wynn
McPHERSON — Deloris M. Wynn, 73, McPherson, died Saturday, April 2, 2005.

Mrs. Wynn was born Deloris M. Schroeder on Feb. 10, 1932, in Hoisington. She was a homemaker and former custodian at Good Samaritan Home in Lyons.

She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Dee.

Survivors include her husband, Billy, of McPherson; a son, Ricky Stetler of McPherson; two daughters, Tami Stetler of McPherson and Vickie Maxwell of Lyons; a sister, Billy Joan Patterson of Chase; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPherson 67460. Inurnment will be at a later date in Raymond Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or American Diabetes Association.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.

Helen M. Chaput
CONCORDIA — Helen M. Chaput, 91, Concordia, died Saturday, April 9, 2005.

Mrs. Chaput was born Helen M. Eells on July 13, 1913, in Concordia. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, in 1998; and two daughters, Judy Chaput and Madonna O’Shea.

Survivors include a son, Garry of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia. Burial will be in St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia.

An Altar Society rosary will be said at 5 p.m. and a vigil service will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, 325 W. Sixth, Concordia 66901.

Memorials may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.
