FORT SCOTT — Raymond Eugene Judson, 77, Fort Scott, died Thursday, April 21, 2005.
Mr. Judson was born July 19, 1927, in Salina. He worked as a truck driver most of his life.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Sr., Ronnie and Rick, all of Fort Scott; four daughters, Linda Gibson of Blessing, Texas, Ramona Wilson of Greenfield, Mo., Jolene Price of Nevada, Mo., and Carole Sue of Australia; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Centerville Cemetery, where family and friends will meet.

Visitation will be until noon Saturday at the funeral home.
Walter A. Muehlenburg
WHITE CITY — Walter A. Muehlenburg, 86, White City, died Thursday, April 21, 2005.
Mr. Muehlenburg was born July 27, 1918, in Shady Brook, north of Herington. He was a farmer and stockman and a barber.
Survivors include his wife, Thelmagean “Thelma,” of the home; two daughters, Christine Mitchell of Salina and Susan Dittman of White City; three sisters, Loretta Detmer of Twin Falls, Idaho, Phyllis Hedstrom of Rockwall, Texas, and Joyce Nagel of Great Bend; three grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Herington. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington, with a special funeral detail from Fort Riley.
A prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home & Crematory, Herington Chapel, 404 S. Broadway, Herington 67449-3038.
Memorials may be made to the church or American Diabetes Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Evangeline M. Nichols
Evangeline M. Nichols, 84, Salina, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005.
Mrs. Nichols was born June 17, 1920, at Victoria. She had owned and operated the Sportsman Club in Salina for many years and owned the Salina Speedway and Nichols Realty until her death.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, in 1994; her parents, Peter P. and Elizabeth (Schmidtberger) Sanders; three brothers, Daniel P. Sanders, Herbert Sanders and Francis Sanders; and three sisters, Louise Keener, Isabelle Vera Coleman and Cecilia Carson.
Survivors include a special nephew and niece, Jerry and Lorita Nichols of Salina; four sisters, Agatha Bittman of Perry, Okla., Esther Morris of Salina, Bernice Hogan of San Antonio, Texas, and Betty Lang of Hays; and many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Elaine J. Scott, 54, Salina, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005.
Mrs. Scott was born Elaine Joyce Richter on April 17, 1951, in Stromsburg, Neb. She was a graphic artist.
Survivors include her husband, John C., of the home; a daughter, Alison Pugh of Wamego; a son, Adam of Salina; her mother, Lois Richter of Lincoln, Neb.; a brother, Greg Richter of Lincoln, Neb.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Salina.

MARION — Larry M. Slifer, 63, Marion, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005.
Mr. Slifer was born May 9, 1941, in Florence. He was a contractor for residential construction.
Survivors include two sons, Danny of Lawrence and Henry of Marion; three daughters, Janette Dickerson of Ottawa, Shana Slifer of Newton and Lari Slifer of Lawrence; two brothers, Lanny of Ottawa and Gary of Oregon; and 13 grandchildren.

AGRA — Arnold George Stegmaier, 68, Agra, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005.
Mr. Stegmaier was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Cloud County. He was a retired communications technician with KN Energy.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Dakota James Stegmaier.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine, of the home; two sons, Mark of Holmen, Wis., and Randy of Phillipsburg; four daughters, Marcia Horn, Barbara Losey and Becky Bouchard, all of Agra, and Nancy Bui of Blue Springs; two brothers, Robert Stegmaier of Delphos and Tom Adams of Leominster, Mass.; two sisters, Anita Cypher of Nevis, Minn., and Marie Crist of Racine, Wis.; and 14 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, 1115 Second, Phillipsburg 67661. Burial will be in Agra Cemetery, with military honors by Agra American Legion Post 357.

Mr. Angel was born Oct. 31, 1921, in Paradise. He was a farmer and co-operated the Post Insurance Agency, Paradise.
Survivors include his wife, Garnett; a daughter, Janette Ross of Lenexa; a son, Gene of Paradise; a sister, Mary Cunningham of Eugene, Ore.; six grandchildren; a stepgrandson; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Brown was born Oct. 19, 1933, in Prairie View, Kan. He was a retired owner and operator of an electrical, plumbing and air conditioning business in Glendale, Ariz.
Survivors include a son, Robert Wayne; a daughter, Patricia Marie Brown; four sisters, Berta Van Diest of Prairie View, Kan., Rose Marie Snyder of Midland, Mich., Lois Poer of Kinsley, Kan., and Nora Kats of Norton, Kan.; and his mother, Marguerite Ileta Brown, of Norton.
The body was cremated. Inurnment will be at a later date in Kansas Veterans Cemetery, WaKeeney, Kan.

Survivors include three sons, John of Mankato, Calvin of Fort Worth, Texas, and Bill of Sand Springs, Okla.; two daughters, Nela Huntsinger of Loveland, Colo., and Brenda Williams of Manhattan; four sisters, Ira Dean of Modesto, Calif., Lena Lewis of Philadelphia, Johnnie Griffin of Seattle and Cherie Myers of Amarillo, Texas; and 12 grandchildren.

Mrs. Klein was born Danelda Ardell Goertzen on April 24, 1932, in Clyde, N.D. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton A., in 1997.
