John Michael Swartz, 57, Salina, died Saturday, July 23, 2005.
Mr. Swartz was born Dec. 26, 1947, in Salina. He was in charge of production control for Smoky Hill Weapons Range.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Leota; and two brothers, Gail and Bill.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; a sister, Shirley Milleson of Salina; a sister-in-law, Darlene Swartz of Blue Springs, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Salina Bible Church, 2100 Quincy, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Salemsborg Lutheran Cemetery, Smolan.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
Jesse James Wright
Jesse James Wright, 61, Salina, died Sunday, July 24, 2005.
Mr. Wright was born Sept. 14, 1943, in Hensley, Ark. He was a jazz musician in Salina.
Survivors include his wife, Vesna Monika Matic-Wright; his mother, Vera Elizabeth Wright; a son, Jesse Wright Jr. of Salina; two daughters, Elizabeth Wright and Erika Wright, both of San Francisco; a brother, Willie “Sonny” Wright Jr. of Salina; two sisters, Daisy Whitaker and Thelma Collins, both of Salina; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Carlson-Ford-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina 67401. Inurnment will be private.
There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
Beulah Beatrice Beninga
JUNCTION CITY — Beulah Beatrice Beninga, 98, Junction City, died July 18, 2005.
Mrs. Beninga was born Beulah Beatrice Heath on Jan. 16, 1907, near Clay Center. She and her husband opened the Junction City Cabinet Co., which later became Beninga Marine.
Her husband, Harold, died in 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Duane of Loveland, Colo., and Max of Eugene, Ore.; a brother, Leo Heath of Glenvil, Neb.; two sisters, Lucille Jensen of Valley Center and Lola Broden of Clay Center; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Junction City.

Mrs. Mumford was born Lois Ida Holsteen on Aug. 10, 1910, at Nelson. She was a teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris, on May 21, 2005; and a grandson.
Survivors include three sons, Norman of Hebron, William of Chester and Max of Omaha; a daughter, Dina Siebels of Belvidere; three sisters, Charleen Adcock of Superior, Shirley Janssen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Vonna Firestone of Casper, Wyo.; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Price Funeral Home Chapel, 210 S. Third, Hebron 68370. Burial will be in Chester City Cemetery.

Mr. Nettleton was born Dec. 31, 1950, in Oswego. He was retired from the Navy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Youtsey, in 1992, and a daughter, Tonya G. Lane.
