HILLSBORO — Jacob F. Hodel, 95, Hillsboro, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005.
Mr. Hodel was born Aug. 23, 1910, at rural Hillsboro. He was a purchasing agent at AMPI.
His wife, Susan, died in 1999.
Survivors include two sons, Dwight Dale of Midlothian, Texas, and Richard Dean of Grapevine, Texas; a daughter, Nelda Jean Regier of Hampton, Neb.; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro. Burial will be in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church Building Fund or Parkside Homes.

Robert H. “Bob” Holle
ATWOOD — Robert H. “Bob” Holle, 84, Atwood, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005.
Mr. Holle was born May 22, 1921, in Ludell. He was a retired farmer and stockman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruthann Holle and Barbara Holle, both of Estes Park, Colo., and Rebecca Schmidt of Highlands, Calif.; a sister, Adela Fahnenstiel of Evergreen, Colo.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Atwood. Burial will be in Atwood Fairview Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the church and Rawlins County Health Center, both of Atwood.

Bridgette H.M. Lee
NEWTON — Bridgette H.M. Lee, 58, Newton, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005.
Mrs. Lee was born Bridgette Helen Marie Overton on Dec. 22, 1946, in Colby. She worked as an evangelistic minister, serving more than 30 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorraine Smith and husband Rusty of Newton; a brother, Alan E. Overton and wife Mary of Canton; two sisters, Carolyn O’Quin and husband Doug of Sunray, Texas, and Evelyn Keith and husband Mack of Hot Springs, Ark.; three grandchildren, Tyler and Hunter Smith and Amber Klock; three aunts, Martha Lantz, Rhoda Kennedy and Iva Farmer, all of Salina; and an uncle, Robert Smith of Cawker City.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at New Life Assembly of God Church, 818 Washington Road, Newton, the Revs. Roger Scantlin and Jim Pauley officiating. Burial will be in Kechi Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to The Gideons International or the Josiah and Bethany Children’s Home in Reynosa, Mexico.

Rose Marie “Rosie” Leiker
VICTORIA — Rose Marie “Rosie” Leiker, 60, Victoria, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005.
Mrs. Leiker was born Rose Marie Billinger on May 1, 1945, at Oakley. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Survivors include her husband, Donald “Pappy,” of the home; a son, Joe of Hays; a daughter, Melissa Hutchens of Bradenton, Fla.; two brothers, Leroy Billinger of Victoria and Don Billinger of Akron, Colo.; three sisters, Joyce Dinkel of Hays, Jeanette Schmidt of Salina and Linda Stochl of Wichita; and a granddaughter.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria. Burial will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery.
A parish vigil will be at 6 p.m. today at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine, Hays 67601, followed by a Victoria VFW Auxiliary at 6:30 p.m. and a Class of 1964 rosary at 7 p.m.

PAHRUMP, Nev. — Wilva E. “Willie” Magdeburg, 68, Pahrump, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2005.
Mrs. Magdeburg was born Wilva E. Leuszler on Nov. 18, 1936, in Almena, Kan. She was treasurer of Ell-Saline School District 307, retiring in 1999 after 18 years.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” of Pahrump; two brothers, Wayne Leuszler of Oklahoma City and Harlan Leuszler of Trinidad, Colo.; and a sister, Twila Lindfors of Marquette, Kan.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

CASHION, Okla. — James Michaels, 54, Cashion, died Oct. 14, 2005.
Mr. Michaels was born Aug. 14, 1951, in Parsons, Kan.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Michaels; his mother, Thelma Winters; and a sister, Vonda Sheffield.
Survivors include three sisters, Barbara Ball of Titusville, Fla., Cathy Thompson of Hiawatha, Kan., and Cindy Payne of Abilene, Kan.

Dorothy M. Mitchell
HERINGTON — Dorothy M. Mitchell, 81, Herington, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005.
Mrs. Mitchell was born Dorothy M. Bierman on Aug. 5, 1924, in Centralia, Ill. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, William F., died in 1969.
Survivors include a son, Bill of Florissant, Mo.; two daughters, Judy Bruner of Bentonville, Ark., and Beverly Trevorrow of Herington; a brother, Lawrence Bierman of St. Charles, Mo.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church, Herington. Burial will be today in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis.

HERINGTON — Frances M. Train Rohloff, 82, Herington, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005.
Mrs. Rohloff was born Frances M. Laurich on Nov. 17, 1922, in New Berry, Mich. She was a homemaker.
Her first husband, Charles E. Train, died in 1982.
Survivors include her husband, Earl L. Rohloff, of the home; a son, Randy Train of Kennewick, Wash.; a sister, Dorothy Perumean of Indian Wells, Calif.; a brother, Matt Laurich of Detroit, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Schaffer was born Marie A. Albers on Jan. 7, 1919, near Angelus. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, William “Bill,” died in 1998.
Survivors include two sons, William J. and Kenneth, both of Hoxie; two daughters, Kathy Collins of Goodland and Karla Olson of Hoxie; a brother, Alfred Albers of Selden; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson.
