Ed was born on July 27, 1935 in Enid, Okla. He served in the United States Army after attending Wichita State University. He married Janis (Hawthorne) Moore in May of 1956.
Other survivors include: daughter, Cathy Krehbiel of Wichita; granddaughter and apple-of-his-eye, Cassie Krehbiel; brother, Homer Moore of Wichita; former wife and friend, Janis Moore; and like-a-son, Bruce Boyle; many nephew, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward Moore, Sr. and Lydia (Eichman) Moore.

Henry “Tom” Mathews, Jr., 76, Wichita, retired Independent Insurance agent, father and father-in-law of Terri and Patrick Carman of Augusta, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2006.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, at Church of the Magdalen in Wichita.
Mr. Mathews was also a United States Marine and served in the Korean War.
Other survivors include: his wife, Mary; son, Henry “Tommy” Mathews, III of Wichita; two grandchildren; brothers, Patrick and Timothy Mathews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanette and Henry, his step mother, Margaret, sisters, Jeanette and Mary Ann, and brother, Michael.

Phyllis was born in Bloomington Township, on Aug.7, 1920, the daughter of Raymond Henry and Margaret Ann Louise (Knollenberg) Prigmore. Along with being a homemaker, she owned and operated the roller skating rink in El Dorado. Phyllis sang for the grand opening of the Augusta Historical Theatre and volunteered as a "pink lady" at Augusta Hospital.
She is survived by: sons, Larry Morris of Duncanville, Texas, and Jerry Morris and wife Irina of Augusta; daughter, Vicki Fitzwater and husband Kenny of Augusta; grandchildren, Tristan and Ian Fitzwater, Krista Corkill and Terrence Morris, and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Maggie; a daughter, Diane Morris and a grandson, Kreg Morris.

Augusta, Kan. - Maxine Marie Penland, 83, passed away on March 16, 2008.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, at Porter Funeral Home in Lenexa, Burial will be in the Lenexa City Cemetery.
Maxine was born in Augusta to Noel D. Hyde and Winifred Pearl Reid Feb. 3, 1925. She graduated from Augusta High School in 1942.
She worked for Boeing during WWII and Cessna for 12 years in the late 50’s and 60’s.
She is survived by: her husband of 59 years, Harry; sister, Ailene Teegarden (Floyd) of Pratt; son, Ron Penland and daughter-in-law Betty of Mission Viejo Calif.; daughter, Jan (Penland) Hare and son-in-law Kenny of Shawnee; grandchildren, Steve Penland of Aliso Viejo, Calif., Beth Penland of Lake Forest, Calif., Amber Vernon (Jay) of New York, NY, Kris Downing (Ken) of Lenexa, Megan Spies (Fabrice) of Hollywood, Calif., Patrick Walker of Dana Point, Calif.; great- grandchildren, Jessika, Dawson, Dylan, and Jaylee Downing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nola (Hyde) Reece.
