Mamie C. Calhoun
LEOTI - Mamie C. Calhoun, 93, died Jan. 11, 2000, at Wichita County Hospital, Leoti.
She was born Jan. 4, 1907, at Moline, the daughter of Clarence and Mamie Wilson Henninger. A Wichita County resident since 1949, she was a seamstress and homemaker.
She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
On Aug. 31, 1924, she married
H. P. "Hi" Calhoun at Beaver, Okla. He died in 1966.
Survivors include: a son, Glenn, Leoti; a daughter, Louise Jimerson, Wenatchee, Wash.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall, Leoti, with Don Largent officiating. Burial was in Leoti Cemetery.

Dorothy Mae McGee
LIBERAL - Dorothy Mae McGee, 70, died Jan. 11, 2000, at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal.
She was born July 6, 1929, at Hugoton, the daughter of James Calvin and Ocie Ellen Knox McGee. She was a resident of Liberal Good Samaritan Home, and formerly of Hugoton.
Survivors include: a sister, Dyanna Nowak, Liberal; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Birdie Lee.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kitch Funeral Home Chapel, Liberal, with the Rev. Rex Petty presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and until service time Saturday, all at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hugoton Cemetery.
Margaret Hunt
GREAT BEND - Margaret Hunt, 94, died Jan. 12, 2000, at Stafford District Hospital.
She was born Aug. 25, 1905, at Sedan, the daughter of William and Elnorah Raybourn Casement. A Great Bend resident since 1952, moving from Larned, she was a homemaker and a retired assistant librarian at Great Bend Public Library.
She belonged to Central Baptist Church and the Utopian Club, both at Great Bend.
On Sept. 25, 1927, she married
William L. Hunt at Coffeyville. He died Jan. 4, 1984.
Survivors include: a daughter, Barbara Garey, Great Bend; three sisters, Anna Floyd and Helen Martin, both of Sedan, and Mary Louise Euler, Lansing; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Casement Jr.; two sisters, Avis Reese and Edith Brooke; and two grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bryant-Christians Funeral Home Chapel, Great Bend, with the Rev. Dr. Gordon E. Rhodes presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Private family burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery.

LaRue Schaul
HAVILAND - LaRue Schaul, 85, died Jan. 11, 2000, at Lake Pointe Nursing Center, Augusta.
She was born Oct. 3, 1914, at Croft, the daughter of Elmer and Bertha Corson Puterbaugh. A Croft, Pratt and Haviland resident, she farmed in Douglass for 15 years, moving to Wichita in 1990. She graduated from Wichita State University in 1973 and was a school teacher.
She belonged to Haviland United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star, Douglass and Haviland.
On Feb. 13, 1936, she married
William G. "Bill" Schaul. He died April 6, 1988.
Survivors include: two sons, Gary, Douglass, and Bill, Defiance, Mo.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Puterbaugh; and a sister, Arlene Peters.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Haviland Cemetery, with the Rev. Riet Stonger presiding. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Fleener Chapel, Greensburg.

Anne A. Bacon
Anne A. Bacon, 78, died Jan. 12, 2000, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Oct. 13, 1931, at Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of George and Helen Archer. A Hutchinson resident for three years, formerly a longtime South Haven and Wellington resident, she and her husband farmed in the South Haven area.
She volunteered with Sumner County CASA, Life Line of Sumner County, Newcomers Club and the Mission Thrift Shop.
On Oct. 5, 1944, she married
Howard Bacon at Big Springs, Texas. He died Feb. 13, 1987.
Survivors include: three daughter, Bev Quillin, Inman, Benita Mackenzie, Santa Fe, N.M., and Janice Bacon, Foothills Ranch, Calif.; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; and many nephews and nieces.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Rose Hill Cemetery, South Haven, with Father Andrew J. Seiler presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Frank Funeral Home, Wellington, with the family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m.

Ruby Elaine Perkins Erwin
WEWOKA, Okla. - Ruby Elaine Perkins Erwin, 86, formerly of Wewoka, died Jan. 8, 2000, at Integris Baptist Hospital, Enid, Okla.
She was born Aug. 22, 1913, at Birmingham, Ala., the daughter of W.A. "Lonnie" and Virginia McCarver Perkins. She worked for Aline McQuilliams Draperies, retiring in 1980.
She belonged to Mission Home Baptist Church, Wewoka, and the Ladies Auxiliary.
On March 29, 1930, she married
Asa Erwin at Wewoka. He died Oct. 5, 1998.
Survivors include: a son, Jack, Hutchinson; a daughter; a brother; four sisters; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; four step-great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Mission Home Baptist Church, Wewoka, with Pastor Delmar Hume and the Rev. Larry Jones presiding. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Wewoka.

Barbara L. Dunbar
SCOTT CITY - Barbara L. Dunbar, 70, died Jan. 9, 2000, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born Nov. 17, 1929, at Wichita, the daughter of George M. and Mabel Adealia Truman Stolz. A Scott City resident since 1994, moving from Truckee, Calif., she was a retired electronics technician.
She belonged to First Baptist Church, Scott City.
Survivors include: a son, Richard D., Lafayette, Colo.; a daughter, Cheryl A. Dunbar, Portland, Ore.; four brothers, Jim A. and G. Michael Stolz, both of Springdale, Ark., Wesley M. Stolz, Fayetteville, Ark., and Ralph E. Stolz, Windsor, Colo.; a sister, Ruth A. Smith, Scott City; and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
