Myrle Lee Cole
WICHITA - Myrle Lee Cole, 86, died Jan. 26, 2000, at Riverside Hospital, Wichita.
She was born Sept. 3, 1913, at Belmont, the daughter of Joe Lee and Frances Shives. A Marion resident since 1976, formerly of Wichita, she was a co-owner and operator of Don Cole Hair Styling Salons, Wichita.
On Sept. 5, 1933, she married
Donald J. Cole. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: a daughter, Judy Christensen, Marion; two sisters, Nadine Hughbanks, Wichita, and Nan Ferguson, Paxton, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion, with the Rev. John Goering presiding. Inurnment will be in Marion Cemetery.

Elizabeth Weimaster Bitter
HOISINGTON - Elizabeth Weimaster Bitter, 93, died Jan. 28, 2000, at Hoisington Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 6, 1906, south of Bunker Hill, the daughter of Fred and Mary Miller Weimaster. A Hoisington resident since 1947, moving from rural Susank, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Concordia Lutheran Church, Hoisington.
On Oct. 29, 1929, she married
Herbert Bitter at Susank. He died Sept 17, 1995.
Survivors include: a son, Clarence L., Hoisington; a daughter, Twila M. Gottberg, Denver; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Fred, Henry, Jake, George, Alex and Dave Weimaster; and three sisters, Effie Freibus, Mollie Schultz and Katie Weimaster.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Concordia Lutheran Church, Hoisington, with Pastor Garry Dassow presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery.

Billie P. McConnell
MEDICINE LODGE - Billie P. McConnell, 85, died Jan. 29, 2000, at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 17, 1914, at Isabel, the daughter of John and Minnie Keuhn Eckell. She graduated from Wesley School of Nursing, Wichita, in 1938. A Medicine Lodge resident since 1988, moving from Wichita, she was a nurse for 50 years, retiring in 1988.
She belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church, Medicine Lodge, the Golden Agers and the Leisure Time Center.
On July 4, 1937, she married
K. Wayne McConnell at Wichita. He died in 1961.
Survivors include: three nephews and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary; seven brothers, Henry, George, Julius, Walter, Herman, Paul and Clarence; and six sisters, Gertrude Davenport, Aurelia Lehner, Erna Eckell, Leah Farren, Meta Eckell and Emilie Eckell.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Isabel Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Beyer presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Larrison-Forsyth Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge.

Madelon Armour
Madelon Armour, 79, died Jan. 26, 2000, at Golden Plains Retirement Home, Hutchinson.
She was born Nov. 2, 1920, at Dwight, the daughter of Arthur William and Amy Vorse Keene. She graduated from Emporia State Teachers College in 1938 and from Kansas State University in 1965. She taught school in Junction City from 1939 to 1985.
She belonged to First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, Junction City.
On June 16, 1941, she married
Charles Armour Jr. at Junction City. He died in 1979.
Survivors include: a son, Charles W. III, Fontana; two daughters, Cathy Gray, Pomona, and Suzanne Meeks, Hutchinson; a brother, William, Atlanta; a sister, Marlene Hartman, Indianapolis, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel, Junction City, with the Rev. Dr. Bert Buurman presiding. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Junction City.

GREAT BEND - Grace Ader, 100, died Jan. 28, 2000, at her home.
She was born Sept. 25, 1899, in Ellis County, the daughter of William Henry and Mary Rasmussen Schechter. A Great Bend resident since 1951, moving from Dodge City, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and the Silver & Gold Club, both at Great Bend.
On Nov. 9, 1922, she married
Dee Ader at Dodge City. He died May 24, 1980.
Survivors include: a sister, Beulah Langley, Stafford; and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Great Bend Cemetery, with the Rev. Howard Sorensen presiding. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Bryant-Christians Funeral Home, Great Bend.

Raymond C. Rohling
CUNNINGHAM - Raymond C. Rohling, 86, died Jan. 28, 2000, at Pratt Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 12, 1913, at Waterloo, the son of Herman C. and Anna Kruep Rohling. A longtime Cunningham resident, he was a retired farmhand and had been an employee of the city of Cunningham.
He belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cunningham.
Survivors include: two brothers, Herman, Kingman, and Joe, Cunningham; two sisters, Mary Meng, Sharon, and Pauline Depenbusch, Zenda; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Parish rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cunningham, with Father John Miller presiding. Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
