Irma M. Ohmes
DODGE CITY - Irma M. Ohmes, 70, died Feb. 9, 2000, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born Jan. 29, 1930, at Dodge City, the daughter of Jacob and Lugard Batt Klein. A lifetime Dodge City resident, she had lived in Garden City from 1956 to 1961. She was a homemaker.
She belonged to St. Andrew Catholic Church, Wright, attended Sacred Heart Cathedral at Dodge City, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the American Postal Workers Union Auxiliary, both at Dodge City.
On May 18, 1953, she married
John Ohmes at Dodge City. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Terry, Dodge City; a brother, Vincent, Woodland Hills, Calif.; two sisters, Sister Mary Ann Klein, Larned, and Jean Pfeiffer, Grand Lake, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Burkhart Funeral Chapel, Dodge City. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Dodge City, with Father Louis Hoang presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Wright.

Gordon Huey
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Gordon Huey, 77, died Feb. 8, 2000, at his home in Colorado Springs.
He was born May 14, 1922, at Newton, the son of Frank and Blanche White Huey. He was a resident of Colorado Springs.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He married
Norris Farana. She died in 1994.
Survivors include: two daughters, Virginia Huey, San Diego, and Patricia Nunn, Colorado Springs; a brother, Gregory Huey, Wichita; and two grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to noon Monday at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton.
Edward J. Herrman
GODDARD - Edward J. Herrman, 58, died Feb. 9, 2000.
A Goddard resident, he was a self-employed brick mason before his retirement.
Survivors include: his mother, Lucille Herrman, Wichita; a son, James Walker, Hutchinson; a daughter, Denise Haltom, Sterling; three brothers, Norman, Derby, Kenneth, Wichita, and Vincent Jr., Goddard; two sisters, Delores Roehrman and Cynthia Terry, both of Wichita; and five grandchildren.
There will be no local services.

Jane Darlene Bickel
Jane Darlene Bickel, 68, died Sept. 12, 2000, at Hospice Residential Care Center.
She was born June 26, 1932, at Lincoln, the daughter of Charles S. and Effie Mae Oliphant Jordan. She had been a Hutchinson resident since 1959, moving from Salina. She had worked at Kennedy and Coe, Salina and retired in 1994 from Lindburg and Vogel, Hutchinson.
She belonged to the Eastern Star and Women of the Moose.
On April 18, 1958, she married
Merlin A. Bickel at Grand Island Neb. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Michael A., Hutchinson; a daughter, Pamela Butler, Tulsa; a brother, Charles E., Lenexa; two sisters, Barbara Johnson, Salina and Francis Wolfe, Solomon; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Walston.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, in Gypsum Cemetery, Gypsum. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home, Hutchinson.

Raymond B. Funk
RUSSELL - Raymond B. Funk, 77, died Sept. 12, 2000, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita.
He was born Feb. 11, 1923, in Barton County, the son of William and Lydia Litzenberger Funk. A lifetime resident of Barton County, he was a farmer and dirt contractor.
He belonged to United Emanuel Lutheran Church, at Milberger.
On Nov. 22, 1942, he married
Lillian Boxberger at Milberger. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son Clark, Galatia; two daughters, Victoria Sturgeon, Meriden, and Connie Funk, Great Bend; a brother, Leonard, Otis ; a sister, Clara Baker, Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Rudy, Elmer and Paul.
There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at United Emanuel Lutheran Church at Milberger, with Pastor Keith Kreitzer presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, and 9:30 a.m. to service time Friday at the church. Burial will be in FairviewCemeteryat Galatia.

Felix A. Werth
VICTORIA - Felix A. Werth, 90, died Sept. 11, 2000, at Alterra Sterling House, Hays.
He was born Nov. 21, 1909, at Schoenchen, the son of Alex B. and Bernidina Werth Werth. He was a lifetime Victoria-area resident. He was an oil field pumper for Oakmar Oil Co. for 31 years and Eagle Oil Co. for five years.
He was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, both at Victoria.
On Oct. 17, 1932, he married
Leona M. Arnhold at Victoria. She died Aug. 23, 1997.
Survivors include: a son, Donald L., Liberty, Mo.; a brother, Leonard, Arlington, Va.; three sisters, Jullita Werth, Salina, Florina Giebler, Hays, and Leona Mayfield, Cassrock, Mo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five sisters, Isabella Basgall, Teckla Staab, Lucille Giebler, Frances Werth and Louise Pfeifer.
Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary at 7:30 p.m., both at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, with Fathers Jerome Michael Werth and Frank X. Grinko presiding. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today, 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Friday, all at the mortuary. Burial will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.
Adalai M. Nusz
Adalai M. Nusz, 76, died Sept. 11, 2000, at Hester Care Center, Hutchinson.
She was born July 6, 1924, at Fairview, Okla., the daughter of John and Lydia Bergman Cornelsen. She had been a Hutchinson resident since 1963, moving from Kingman County. She was a homemaker and in-home child care provider.
She belonged to Westside Baptist Church, Hutchinson.
On Dec. 15, 1942, she married
Aron Nusz at Weatherford, Okla. He died Dec. 26, 1979.
Survivors include: two sons, Don, Boulder, Colo., and Ron, Maize; two daughters, Linda Campbell, Hutchinson, and Mary Logan, Wichita; a brother, Bill, Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ed; and a sister, Eldora Nusz.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Westside Baptist Church, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Eldon Smith presiding. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.

Anna Florinne 'Flo' Johnson
ELKHART - Anna Florinne "Flo" Johnson, 64, died Sept. 10, 2000, at Morton County Hospital, Elkhart.
She was born May 29, 1936, at Stratford, Texas, the daughter of Frank and Myrtle O'Quinn Sanders. A resident of Elkhart since June 1965, she was an owner/partner of State Farm Insurance at Elkhart.
She was a member of United Methodist Church, Alpha Phi Sorority, and Ambassadors of the Chamber of Commerce, all at Elkhart.
On March 14, 1954, she married
Edwin G. Johnson at Clayton, N.M. He survives.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Sherie Kay Kemp and Connie Lynn White, both of Elkhart, and Vicki Jo Rockhold, Seiling, Okla.; her mother, Myrtle Ellison, Stratford, Texas; three sisters, Lola Johnson, Mary Brooks and Becky Brooks, all of Stratford; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Sanders; and an infant son, Danny Lane.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at United Methodist Church, Elkhart, with the Revs. Ken Van and Ron Wilson presiding. Burial will be in Elkhart Cemetery.
