HAYSVILLE - Funeral service for William O. "Bill" Johnson, 77, Boeing maintenance mechanic, will, be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Haysville.
Survivors include: two sons, Roger, of Haysville, and Ronal, of Mulvane; four brothers, including Roy Johnson, Pratt, Donal, Colorado Springs, Ray Gene, Troy, Kan., and Joe, of Mulvane; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Smith Mortuary, Haysville, is in charge of arrangements.
Mary A. Mooney
Mary A. Mooney, 60, died May 26, 2000, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born March 6, 1940, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Earl and Gale Davis Dueck. She attended Buhler High School. She was a Hutchinson resident.
She belonged to Riverside Baptist Church.
Survivors include: a son, Michael Vosburg, Lyons; a daughter, Cheryl Miller, Nickerson; three brothers Dennis Dueck, Louisville, Ky., Richard Dueck, Canyon City, Colo., and Walter Dueck, El Paso, Texas; and a sister, Shirley Dunham, Stanfield, Ore.; and nine grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Riverside Baptist Church, Hutchinson.

Emily C. Mammel
LAKEVIEW, Ark. - Emily C. Mammel, 69, died May 24, 2000, at Auburn Hills Nursing Home, Mountain Home, Ark.
She was born Dec. 2, 1930, at Aberdeen, Miss., the daughter of Frank B. and Julia B. Baker Crawford. She graduated from the University of Mississippi. A Hutchinson resident from 1964 to 1974, she had been a Lakeview resident since 1996, moving from Appleton, Wis. She was a homemaker.
She belonged to First Presbyterian Church, Mountain Home, and was a former Girl Scout leader in Hutchinson. She led a special children's troop at the former Institute of Logopedics, Wichita.
On Oct. 16, 1954, she married
Phillip R. Mammel at Washington, D.C. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Stuart, Madison, Wis.; a daughter, Mary Stewart, Hutchinson; a brother; a sister; three grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be held at the church in Mountain Home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the guest register at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

Opal Trauer
DODGE CITY - Opal Trauer, 92, died May 26, 2000, at Trinity Manor, Dodge City.
She was born Feb 26, 1908, at Bazine, the daughter of Guy and Nona Wollard Bondurant. She was a graduate of Bazine High School. A Dodge City resident, formerly of Kinsley and rural Hanston, she was a homemaker and taught school for a few years.
She belonged to Bazine Baptist Church.
On Dec. 2, 1927, she married
Laurence Trauer at Hantson. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Duane, Hays, Lloyd, Kansas City, Kan., and Rex, Dodge City; three daughters, Melba Worford and Carol Trauer, both of Denver, and Joyce Moten, Norman, Okla.; a brother, Ted Bondurant, California; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mable Murphy; four brothers, Wayne, Laurel, Everett and Rex Bondurant; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hanston Baptist Church, with Dr. Gary Winget presiding. Friends may call from noon until 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City. Burial will be in Hanston Cemetery.

Louise Therese Horton
ST. JOHN - Louise Therese Horton, 63, died May 24, 2000, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph Campus, Wichita.
She was born Dec. 11, 1936, at Belize City, Belize, the daughter of William Norman Sr., and Teresa Natividad Batty. A resident of Wichita for the past five years, moving from New Orleans, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Heritage Baptist Church, Wichita.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd F.; a son and three daughters, all of Wichita; two brothers; two sisters; and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Minnis Chapel, St. John, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, St. John. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel.
Sheldon C. Gregory
FREDERICK - Sheldon C. Gregory, 80, died May 26, 2000, at Lyons District Hospital.
He was born Sept. 15, 1919, at Frederick, the son of Claude and Mary Buehler Gregory. A Frederick resident since 1958, he was a retired manager for Farmers Coop, Frederick, and he had been the mayor of Frederick for 39 years.
He belonged to Frederick Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge, Lyons.
On July 18, 1939, he married
Helen Seybert at Lyons. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Arlen, Colonial Heights, Va., and Loren, Beatrice, Neb.; a daughter, Bonnie Housley, Van Buren, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daryl.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Frederick Cemetery.

Walter H. Krehbiel
INMAN - Walter H. Krehbiel, 82, died May 25, 2000, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph Campus, Wichita.
He was born January 27, 1918, at Pretty Prairie, the son of John R. and Elizabeth Albrecht Krehbiel. An Inman resident for the past 37 years, moving from Pretty Prairie, he was a farmer and worked for Consolidated Rebuilders, Hutchinson.
He belonged to Inman Mennonite Church, and the Inman Veterans Association. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
On June 3, 1948, he married
Dorothy A. Goering at Moundridge. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Kenton K., Colby, and Kevin K., Inman; a daughter, Beth A Hanschu, Emporia; a brother, John L., Lawrence; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herb, Art and Ed; and two sisters, Annie Graber, and Edna Gering.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Inman Mennonite Church, Inman, with Pastor Jerry Kaiser officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., both at Moundridge Funeral Home. Burial will be in North Inman Cemetery.

Noah Nichols
MONTEZUMA - Noah Nichols, 89, died May 25, 2000, at Bethel Home Inc., Montezuma.
He was born Nov. 1, 1910, at Tampa, the son of Cornelius P. and Lizzie Dirks Nichols. A Bethel Home resident since 1997, moving from Greensburg to Copeland in 1931, he was a farmer.
He belonged to Salem Mennonite Church, Copeland.
On Oct. 23, 1932, he married
Frances Koehn October 23, 1932 at Copeland. She survives.
Other survivors include: eight sons, Manford, Sublette, Howard, Ulysses, Milton, Elkton, S.D., Clayton and Wilferd, both of Copeland, Chester and Lester, both of Garden City, and Milferd, Dalhart, Texas; two daughters, Valetta Koehn, Sublette, and Velda Wadel, Greensburg; a brother, Johnny, Macon, Miss.; three sisters, Frances Jantz, Greensburg, Leah Unruh, Montezuma, and Esther Wedel, Brooksville, Ms.; 34 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Salem Mennonite Church, Copeland, with Ministers Sam Unruh Jr., Roy Koehn and Milton Unruh presiding. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
