TOPEKA--Delores Ann Cullimore, 60, Topeka, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born Nov. 10, 1939, at Blue Rapids, the daughter of Marvin Joseph and Esther Bell (Richmond) Cullimore. She graduated from high school and had lived in Topeka five years, moving from Marion. She was married and divorced.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today, Oct. 11, 2000, at First Church of the Nazarene, Topeka. Carlson Funeral Home, Emporia, is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation. Ms. Cullimore donated her body to the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Andrew Protzman
HERINGTON--Andrew G. Protzman, 78, Herington, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at a Winfield nursing home.
He was born May 12, 1922, at Pittsburgh, the son of Daniel Allen Protzman and Ethel Vivian (Gault) Protzman Stephenson. He married Phyllis Thompson in 1945. They divorced in 1958.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington. Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brockmeier Funeral Chapel, Herington, where the family will greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

WICHITA--Pauline (Strauss) Slipsager, 77, Wichita, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000.
She was born Oct. 25, 1922, in Hope, the daughter of Carl and Johanna (Wendt) Strauss.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at Christ Lutheran Church, Wichita.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

MANKATO--Stanley D. Murphy, 64, Mankato, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at his home.
He was born Feb. 3, 1936, in Osborne County, the son of Charlie and Laura (Winder) Murphy. On July 6, 1958, he was married to Fredrica Robinson in Downs.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at Harmony United Methodist Church in Mankato.
Mr. Murphy will lie in state until 9 p.m. today at Melby Mortuary, Mankato, where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Viola Mae Larsen
WICHITA--Viola Mae Larsen, 88, Wichita, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born Viola Mae Richardson on Sept. 28, 1912, at Abilene and was a resident of Salina most of her life.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with the Rev. Scott Goltl officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday and until the service Tuesday at the mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday.

HERINGTON--Lois M. Bowers, 94, Herington, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at the Lutheran Home, Herington.
She was born April 20, 1906, in Ramona, the daughter of Oscar and Etta (Fike) Bowers. She graduated from Herington High School in 1924 and she earned a bachelor's degree at Emporia State University and a master's degree at the University of Kansas.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today, Oct. 9, 2000, at Brockmeier Funeral Chapel, Herington. Burial was in Hope Cemetery.

SALINA--Robert D. Baker, 71, Salina, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, at his home.
He was born April 17, 1929, at Herington and was a Salina resident for many years.

CONCORDIA--Winfred Roy "Nuke" Shivers, 80, Concordia, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina.
He was born April 28, 1920, east of Delphos, the son of William Preston and Mary Catherine Shivers. He attended grade school east of Delphos, graduating in 1937. He attended vocational school in Lincoln, Neb. He served in the South Pacific for 26 months during World War II.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at Nutter Mortuary Chapel, Concordia, the Rev. Kelly Sipes officiating. Burial will be in the Delphos Cemetery, Delphos.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Travis E. Turner
GIRARD--Travis E. Turner, 81, Girard, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at Sunset Manor, Frontenac.
Mr. Turner was a salesman and was employed by Lafe T. Williams & Associates of Wichita. He traveled in the Dickinson County area.
He was born Feb. 20, 1919, at Newton, Iowa, the son of Fred and Sarah (Austin) Turner. He moved to Pittsburg as a child and graduated from Pittsburg High School and attended Emporia State University. He served in the Merchant Marines in 1945-46.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Girard, the Rev. Darrell Biggs officiating. Burial will be in the Fort Scott Cemetery.
Visitation is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

LAKELAND, Fla.--Vernon H. Stillwagon, 77, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000, at his home in Lakeland, Fla.
He was born Nov. 20, 1922, near Chapman, the son of Harry N. and Anna (Swallow) Stillwagon. He attended local country schools and graduated from Chapman High School in 1941. He was a navigator on a B-24 bomber in the Air Force during World War II.
Memorial services were at Lakeland. Funeral services were Oct. 2, 2000, at the Church of Christ, Strafford, Mo. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery, Fair Grove, Mo., with military honors.

Lorene Van Sickle Hatfield, 98, formerly of Hope, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at the Enterprise Estates Nursing Home, Enterprise.
She was born June 10, 1902, in Lost Springs, the daughter of Louis and Nettie (Foster) Van Sickle. She moved to Hope with her parents in 1904 and attended the Hope schools.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at the Pilgrims Home Cemetery, Hope, the Rev. Jack Craig officiating. Cremation will precede the services.
