Linda Mae Fehr
WAVERLY - Linda Mae Fehr, 3, died June 19, 2000, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born May 23, 1997, at Topeka, the daughter of David Lee and Sherolyn Mae Dunn Fehr. She was a lifetime resident of Waverly.
Survivors include: her parents, Waverly; a brother, Will David, Waverly; a sister, Suzanne Dora, Waverly; grandparents, Ralph and Shirley Dunn, Hutchinson; and grandmother, Treva Fehr, Topeka.
Funeral will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Johnson & Sons Memorial Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Kendall Franklin presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today and Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Topeka.

Erwin Wilber Kauk
VICI, Okla. - Erwin Wilber Kauk, 85, died June 20, 2000, at Great Plains Regional Hospital, Elk City, Okla., after a lengthy illness.
He was born Dec. 13, 1914, southeast of Leedey, Okla., the son of Peter and Lydia Kauk. He attended Eureka School. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer and rancher.
He belonged to the United Methodist Church of Leedey.
On March 18, 1939, he married
Lorene Nolia Robertson at Arapaho, Okla. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Gary, of Liberal, and Terry, of Leedey; four grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Leedey United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in New Hermon Cemetery, southeast of Leedey.
Elda M. Hill
Elda M. Hill, 88, died June 21, 2000, at Hospice Residential Care Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Jan. 8, 1912, at Plevna, the daughter of Pearl and Maggie Gorgas Evans. A longtime Hutchinson resident, she was a retired riveter for Cessna.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary, Hutchinson.
She married
Pete Hill at Hutchinson in September, 1950. He died in December 1977.
Survivors include: a son, John Elam, Highlanderville, Mo.; two daughters, Dixie Crowe and Mona White, both of Hutchinson; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Morris and Mervin Postier; and an infant daughter.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home, Hutchinson.

Michelle E. Taylor
NEWTON - Michelle E. Taylor, 22, died June 19, 2000, at her home in Manhattan.
She was born Oct. 18, 1977, at Wichita, the daughter of David and Janie D. Rogers Taylor. She was a 1996 graduate of Newton High School. A senior at Kansas State University, she was a psychology major. She worked at the Cool Care Club Elementary after-school program, Manhattan.
She attended St. Isidore Catholic Church, Manhattan.
Survivors include: her father, Berthoud, Colo.; mother, Newton; a brother, Jason, Fort Collins, Colo.; a grandfather, Marvin Rogers, Wichita; and a grandmother, Annemarie Taylor, Fort Collins, Colo.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Newton, with Father Keith Weber presiding. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, both at Petersen Funeral home, Newton. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery, Wichita.

William Lee 'Bill' Considine
HALSTEAD - William Lee "Bill" Considine, 71, died June 20, 2000, at Newton Medical Center, Newton.
He was born March 21, 1929, at Halstead, the son of John W. and Mildred M. Unruh Considine. He was a farmer and stockman.
He was a member of the National Cattlemans Association and Kansas Livestock Association.
He married
Alice Claire Hanna at Wichita on Nov. 3, 1979. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Michael, Wichita, and Philip, Burrton; two daughters, Mary Ann Jones, Burrton, and Pamela McCurry, Sedgwick; two stepsons, Guy Hanna, Hutchinson, and Mark Hanna, Wichita; a stepdaughter, Cindy Gatz, Preston; two brothers, Robert, Halstead, and Dean, Middleton, Md.; a sister, Margaret Bergkamp, Halstead; and 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie McGinn.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with Father James O'Shea presiding. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home; the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Halstead Cemetery, Halstead.

Dwight C. Cobb
BALDWIN CITY - Dwight C. Cobb, 63, died Friday, June 23, at Olathe Medical Center, of cancer.
He was born Feb. 20, 1937, at Luray, and was raised in Hutchinson. He lived in the Johnson County area until moving to Baldwin City in 1998. He was a detective for the Johnson County Sheriff's Department for 23 years, retiring in 1992. He had been Captain and Assistant Chief of Police at Great Bend. In 1999 he became a reserve officer for the Baldwin City Police Department. For several years he volunteered for Johnson County Developmental Support in Lenexa.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1959 in combat military police units in Germany, France and Lebanon. He was a life member of the Ottawa Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5901, was Past Quartermaster of Olathe VFW Post No. 2993 and was a member of LeRoy Post No. 19 Gardner American Legion. He was a member of Palmyra, Masonic Lodge No. 23 and was Past Master of Olathe Masonic Lodge No. 19.
Survivors include: wife, Virginia; four sons, Rick Cobb, Lenexa, Darrin Cobb and Daniel Slater, both of Olathe, and Johnathon Harkin; five daughters, Jaime Cobb, Shawnee, Julie Cobb Johnson, St. Paul, Minn., Christina McClusky, Dodge City, Dianna Bayless, Sandyhook, Ky., and Angela Baxley, Hawaii; mother, Elsie Cobb, Hutchinson; a sister, Janet Cobb Beshore, Hutchinson; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Cobb; a daughter, Sharon McLane; and a grandson, Ryan Cobb.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, at W.L. Frye & Son Funeral Home, Olathe. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Private burial will follow the service.

WICHITA - Timothy William Brady, 40, died June 22, 2000.

Juanita Weber
HARPER - Juanita Weber, 85, died June 24, 2000, at Schowalter Villa, Hesston.
She was born March 27, 1915, at Wichita, the daughter of L.C. and Ethel Cranmer Hoyt. She was a homemaker.
She belonged to Harper United Methodist Church.
On Sept. 18, 1938, she married
Raymon Weber at Conway Springs. He died June 12, 1977.
Survivors include: a son, Don, Hesston; two daughters, Nita Pearl, Harper, and Sandra Peterson, Broken Arrow, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Harper Cemetery, with the Rev. Phil Morris presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Elliott Funeral Home, Harper.

H.C. 'Jack' Carter
MEDICINE LODGE - H.C. "Jack" Carter, 97, died June 24, 2000, at Cedar Crest Manor, Medicine Lodge.
He was born Dec. 24, 1902, at Medicine Lodge, the son of Thomas C. and Mary E. Wilfley Carter. A longtime Medicine Lodge resident, he was owner and operator of "The Plantation" Truck Farm, Medicine Lodge.
He belonged to First Baptist Church, Medicine Lodge.
In 1928, he married
Clara Jackson. She died in 1928. On Sept. 15, 1942, he married
Mary Evelyn Edwards at Independence. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include: a daughter, Amanda E. Henry, Sharon Hill, Pa.; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and five stepbrothers and stepsisters.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Medicine Lodge, with the Rev. Russell Stolp presiding. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Larrison-Forsyth Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge.
