Rudy L. Siebert
HESSTON - Rudy L. Siebert, 66, died June 19, 2000, at Newton Medical Center, Newton.
He was born March 7, 1934, at Henderson, Neb., the son of Cornelius John and Frieda Friesen Siebert. A 1960 graduate of Bethel College, Newton, and a 1962 graduate of Washington University, St. Louis, he was a clinical social worker at Hertzler Clinic, Halstead. He also was a farmer.
He attended Bethel College Mennonite Church, Newton.
He married
Mariann Wiebe on May 25, 1958, at rural Whitewater. She died April 30, 1991. He married
Karen Keller on Nov. 30, 1996, at North Newton. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Mark, Des Moines, Ill.; two daughters, Annette Lamp, Shawnee, and Karen B. Siebert, Newton; a stepson, Mike Stahl, Halstead; a stepdaughter, Tami Werner, Moundridge; a brother, Merle, Reedley, Calif.; two sisters, Leola Wiens, North Newton, and Corinna Ruth, Reedley, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene.
Memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Bethel College Mennonite Church, North Newton, with Pastors Norma Johnson and Ronald Guengerich presiding. Friends may call 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton. Private burial will be in Emmaus Church Cemetery, rural Whitewater.

Janice A. Rorabaugh
HILLSBORO - Janice A. Rorabaugh, 55, died June 19, 2000, at her son's home in Salina.
She was born May 1, 1945, at Wichita, the daughter of Lemeul and Eva Emdenhal Hodges. She was a school bus driver.
She belonged to Durham Baptist Church, Durham.
She married
Dale Rorabaugh at Wichita on Feb. 18, 1968. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, James Rex, Salina; a daughter, Janell Jackson, Wichita; a sister, Connie Atkinson, Abilene; and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Durham Baptist Church, Durham, with Pastor Richard Curtis presiding. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hillsboro Memorial Chapel, Hillsboro. Burial will be in Durham Park Cemetery, rural Durham.

Gloria Panzer
ELLSWORTH - Gloria Panzer, 78, died June 20, 2000, at Ellsworth County Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 23, 1922, at Lincoln, the daughter of David Lloyd and Alice Craw-ford Hendrickson. An Ellsworth resident since 1970, she was a homemaker.
On Dec. 4, 1943, she married
Joseph Bahan at Lincoln. He died July 15, 1956. On July 9, 1966, she married
George Panzer at Lincoln. He died July 6, 1998.
Survivors include: two sons, Joseph Bahan, New Albany, Ind., and Steve Bahan, Ellsworth; three daughters, Cynthia Ferguson, Parkville, Mo., Georgia Prochaska, Ells-worth, and Anna Marie Wolting, Lincoln; a sister, Doris Geyer, Lincoln; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, with Dr. John Snook presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ellsworth Cemetery.

Percy Eugene Kedigh
MEADOWLAKES, Texas - Percy Eugene Kedigh, 79, died June 18, 2000.
He was born Dec. 21, 1920, at Urich, Mo., the son of Jacob and Edna East Kedigh. He spent 27 years as a U.S. Navy pilot, and after retirement completed college at the University of Wichita.
Survivors include: his wife, Pat; a son; three daughters, including Connie Ellis, Hutch-inson; a stepson and a stepdaughter; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Merry Elizabeth, on March 24, 1981.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. today at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls, Texas, with Mel Short presiding. Cremation is planned.
Roy Elmer Fogleman
ULYSSES - Roy Elmer Fogleman, 82, died June 19, 2000, at Natich, Mass.
He was born Sept. 27, 1917, in Grant County near Ulysses, the son of John E. and Ella Kendall Fogleman. He attended the District 1 school house at the Old Ulysses town site and Ulysses High School. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. He worked for John Hancock Insurance Co., then started a bicycle repair and gift shop.
He belonged to the Presbyterian Church, Natich, Mass.
Survivors include: two sons, Carl, Omaha, Neb., and Peter, of the home; a brother, Ray, Ulysses; two sisters, Nora Cecil, Ulysses, and Mae Cadenhead, Greenville, S.C.; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; two brothers, Lee and Marion; and three sisters, Lillie Smith, Minnie Sherwood and Amy May.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. today at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, Natich, Mass. Cre-mation will take place.

Madelyn M. Dinkie
ELLSWORTH - Madelyn M. Dinkie, 79, died June 19, 2000, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis campus, Wichita.
She was born Sept. 20, 1920, in Rooks County, the daughter of James Daniel and Blanche Bailey Monroe. An Ellsworth resident since 1938, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Holy Apostles Episcopal Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, both at Ellsworth.
On July 3, 1942, she married
Lester W. Dinkie at Ellsworth. He died Aug. 8, 1995.
Survivors include: two sons, Daniel, Ellsworth, and Larry, Lincoln, Neb.; a daughter, Terry Wishcop, Ellsworth; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, with Father Daniel Scheetz presiding. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be in Ellsworth Cemetery.

Sister Magdala Basgall
HAYS - Sister Magdala Basgall, 87, a resident of the St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac, Wis., died June 18, 2000, at the home.
She was born Dec. 20, 1912, at Hays, the daughter of George A. and Lena Aich Basgall. She attended Girls Catholic High School in Hays, and entered the congregation of St. Agnes Convent in Fond du Lac in 1939. She attended Marion College in Fond du Lac and taught school in New York and Altoona, Pa. She worked in the office at St. Anthony Hospital, Hays, and in the office of St. John's Rest Home, Victoria. She retired to Nazareth Heights in Fond du Lac in 1996.
She is survived by two sisters, Mabel Wasinger and Carolyn Power, both of Hays.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Bob and Cecil Basgall, and two sisters, Ermina Dreiling and Marilla Allendorf.
There will be a Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes and Associates service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Brock's North Hill Chapel, Hays. Funeral will be at St. Joseph's Church in Hays, with Father Earl Befort presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hays.
Alvin J. Hammerschmidt
KINGMAN - Alvin J. Hammerschmidt, 67, died June 2, 2000, at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born Aug. 3, 1932, at Ogallah, the son of Michael and Anna Sander Hammerschmidt. A Kingman County resident for most of his life, moving to Hutchinson in 1996, he was a retired pumper for Oxy USA Oil Co.
He belonged to Holy Cross Catholic Church, Hutchinson, the Knights of Columbus and was a life member of the VFW, both at Kingman. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Korea.
On May 16, 1955, he married
Agnes McIntosh at Hays. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Alvin G. "Butch," Hutchinson, and Aaron Lee, Pratt; a daughter, Annette Klaus, Pratt; three brothers, Elmer, Salina, Elias, Kingman, and Rich, Hays; four sisters, Sister Armella, Fond du Lac, Wis., Irene Pfannenstiel, Lawrence, Helen Mohl, Russell, and Viola Robben, Walker; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Norbert and Fred; and two sisters, Mary Weigel and Salvinia Pfaff.
Parish and Knights of Columbus rosaries will be at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Kingman. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with Fathers Daryl Befort and Brian Egan presiding. Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today and noon to 5 p.m. Monday, both at Livingston Funeral Home, King-man. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman.

Louis A. 'Pete' Martin
GENESEO - Louis A. "Pete" Martin, 63, died June 2, 2000, at his home in Geneseo.
He was born Dec. 18, 1936, at Ponca City, Okla., the son of William Allen and Venetta Rose Gardner Martin. He graduated from Geneseo High School. A lifetime Rice County resident, he was a retired truck driver and oilfield driller.
On Dec. 11, 1959, he married
Connie Smith. On June 9, 1992, he married
Delores Joan "Jody" Danford at Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: four sons, Tracy Allen, Geneseo, Terry S., Tim L. and Tom W., all of Hutchinson; a stepdaughter, Cindy Lyhane, Salina; three sisters, Billie Sherwood and Barbara Burge, both of Lyons, and Debbie Davis, Gage, Okla.; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Geneseo, with the Rev. Janet Weathersbee presiding. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday at Sillin Funeral Home, Lyons. Burial will be in Geneseo Cemetery.
