Chancey L. Yingling
COLBY - Chancey Lemoine Yingling, 53, died Feb. 15, 2005, at Colby.
He was born Oct. 16, 1951, at Norton. A resident of Colby, he was a roofing repair man and contractor.
Survivors include; his wife, Susan, Colby; three sons, Jason L. and Raymond L., both of Hutchinson, and Aron D., WaKeeney; a daughter, Sara D. Powell, Salina; three brothers, Richard and Ronnie, both of Hutchinson, and Victor, Springdale, Ark.; three sisters, Barbara Carlson and Connie Harvey, both of Salina, and Wanda Hicks, Colby; and three grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.

Dale McDonald
MONTEZUMA - Dale McDonald, 74, died Feb. 17, 2005, at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.
He was born Feb. 28, 1930, in Stafford County, the son of Clarence Wesley and Opal Maurine Boyd McDonald. He lived in Montezuma until 1979, moving to Garden City, and then to Grove, Okla., in 1994, where he has lived since. He was a farmer and a salesman for Allis-Chalmers.
He belonged to Church of the New Jerusalem, Pawnee Rock, was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Dodge City, and served on the Montezuma District Hospital Board. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1955 to 1957.
On July 22, 1951, he married
Joan Friesen at Montezuma. She survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters; and three sisters, Doris Friesen and Vera Kinnamon, both of Montezuma; and Nadine Tuxhorn, Dodge City. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Montezuma, with the Rev. Eric Zacharais presiding. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Montezuma Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Montezuma.

Louise C. Johnson
GREAT BEND - Louise C. Johnson, 87, died Feb. 15, 2005, at Great Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Oct. 7, 1917, at Bryan, Okla., the daughter of John C. and Nova Ray Puteet Commander. A resident of Great Bend for three years, coming from Hugoton, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to First Christian Church, Rebekah Lodge and Kingdom Light Givers, all at Hugoton.
On Nov. 23, 1939, she married
Eddie R. Johnson at Liberal. He died Dec. 12, 1965.
Survivors include: a son, Edwin R. "Ed," Great Bend; two brothers, Jay and Joe Commander, both of Palestine, Texas; three sisters, Elsie Ralston, Ardmore, Texas, Era Lee Turman, Amarillo, Texas, and Beulah Commander, Terrell, Texas; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Raymon; two brothers, Glen and Charley Commander; and a sister, Effie Holt.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, 600 South VanBuren, Hugoton, with the Rev. Jeff Aenk presiding. Inurnment will be in Hugoton Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.

Jack E. Williamson
SUN CITY, Ariz. - Jack Edwin Williamson, 94, died Feb. 16, 2005, at Sun Health Care Center, Sun City.
He was born April 14, 1910, at St. Louis, Mo., the son of James Henry and Laura May Horton Williamson. He grew up at St. Louis, the youngest of four brothers and one sister. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in arts and sciences from the University of Missouri, where he was an active member of Sigma Alpha Epsiton fraternity. A resident of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of St. Louis, Mo., and Hutchinson, he was an enterprising businessman from contractor to salesman. He designed and built three unique homes for his family.
Jack was known to his friends and family as a true gentleman, always optimistic and outgoing. He was kind and considerate, with a bright sense of humor. He loved baseball and followed the St. Louis Cardinals, reciting their statistics throughout his life. Always physically fit, in his 70s he earned the lifetime trophy 1,500 mile Phoenix "Run for Your Life" award.
On Oct. 26, 1935, he married
Harriet Corinne Shellenberger at Hutchinson. She died Oct. 10, 1999.
Survivors include: two sons, James Jere "Jim" and wife Gloria Jeanne, Lake Elsinore, Calif., and John Holly, Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Marjorie Jean Coombs and husband F. Alan, Salt Lake City, Utah; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sun City Presbyterian Church, Sun City, Ariz.

Ida B. Mausolf
ALBERT - Ida Bertha Mausolf, 93, died Feb. 16, 2005, at Woodhaven of Ellinwood.
She was born Oct. 20, 1911, at Barton County, the daughter of John J. and Minnie C. Dumkow Oetken. A lifetime resident of Rush County, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Peace Lutheran Church and was a lifetime member of Peace Lutheran Church Women's Group.
On March 3, 1935, she married
Virgil L. Mausolf at Albert. He died Sept. 13, 1996.
Survivors include: three daughters, Wanda L. Unruh, Newton, Rose Ann Steitz, Concordia, Mo., and Jean M. Workman, Great Bend; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Eddie, Otto, Harry, Fred, Lewis and William Oetken; a sister, Matilda Oetken; and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church, Albert, with Pastor Jack Russell presiding. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Albert.

Lillian R. Schroeder
SCOTT CITY - Lillian R. Schroeder, 78, died Feb. 17, 2005, at Scott County Hospital, Scott City.
She was born July 30, 1926, in Marion County, the daughter of Albert and Marie Unruh Dirks. A resident of Scott City since 1943, moving from Gentry, Ark., she was a bank secretary.
She belonged to First Christian Church and Christian Women's Fellowship, both at Scott City, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Business and Professional Club, and served as Heart Memorial chairman for 18 years.
On June 22, 1947, she married
C.A. "Speed" Schroeder at Ordway, Colo. He died Nov. 7, 2004.
Survivors include: three brothers, Floyd, Howard and Maurice Dirks, all of Scott City; three sisters, Norma Unruh, Galva, Elizabeth Koehn, McPherson, and Willetta Payne, Scott City; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, Scott City, with Pastor John Warring and Ervin Nightengale presiding. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, Scott City. Interment will be in Scott Mennonite Church Cemetery, Pence.

Richard G. Norwood
ELLINWOOD - Richard "Dick" Gary Norwood, 65, died Feb. 16, 2005, at the V.A. Hospital, Wichita.
He was born Dec. 21, 1939, at Denver, the son of Stanley and Ruth St. Clair Norwood. An Ellinwood resident for the past 11/2 years, formerly of Burlington, Colo., he was a ranch hand.
He belonged to Professional Bullriders Association. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
On Aug. 25, 2001, he married
Karen Sheldon at Burlington, Colo. She died Aug. 25, 2001.
Survivors include: his father, Las Vegas; two sons, Clint and Shawn, both of Rock Springs, Wyo.; a daughter, Patricia McAffee, Cheyenne, Wyo.; two stepsons, Robert Spring, Derby, and J.D. Sheldon, Otis; two stepdaughters, Debbie Glenn and Deadra Schlotthauer, both of Ellinwood; a brother, Denny, Evans, Colo.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Love Funeral Chapel, Burlington, Colo., with the Rev. Aubrey Howell presiding. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Love Funeral Home, Burlington, and from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kimple Funeral Home, Ellinwood. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Burlington.

Debra S. Glaze
DODGE CITY - Debra S. Glaze, 47, died Feb. 16, 2005, at her home in Dodge City.
She was born Feb. 16, 1958, at Ottawa, the daughter of Clyde and Phyllis Rogers Piper. A Dodge City resident since 1970, moving from Texas, she was a cook and waitress at various restaurants, was a nurses' aide at the Good Samaritan Center and worked at Wal-Mart, all at Dodge City.
On Feb. 14, 1995, she married
Tony L. Glaze at Dodge City. He survives.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Danny Piper, Bergman, Ark., and Kirk Piper, Otis; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Mickey Piper.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Appleton TownshipCemeterysouth of Minneola, with Pastor Albert Shrock presiding. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.

GARDEN CITY - Josephine "Josie" Geier, 88, died Feb. 15, 2005, at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City.
She was born July 15, 1916, at Park, the daughter of John and Magdalena Blottner Loevenstein. A Garden City resident since 1925, moving from Park, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to St. Mary's Catholic Church and Altar Society, both at Garden City.
On Sept. 7, 1936, she married
Anthony "Tony" Geier at Garden City. He died June 17, 2001.
Survivors include: three sons, Larry and Alan, both of Garden City, and Danny, Katy, Texas; four daughters, Sr. Jolene Geier, Great Bend, Barbara Jean Schartz, Dodge City, Lola Wilson, Garden City, and Katherine Rhodes, Wichita; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Garden City, with Father James E. Baker presiding. Vigil service will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Garden City. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.
