ROSEBURG, Ore. - Harry Wesley Pritchard, 78, died Nov. 27, 2004, of natural causes.
A Roseburg, Ore., resident, formerly of Hutchinson, he was a farmer.
Survivors include: a son, Dan, Roseburg, Ore.; three daughters, Deborah Harvey, Roseburg, Ore., Susan Pritchard, Ariz., and Marilyn Hryciw, Gresham, Ore.; three brothers, Lee, Kansas, Robert, Hutchinson, and Claudie, Missouri; three sisters, Peggy Evans, Michigan, Katherine Caudillo, Hutchinson, and Faith Ann Holm, Arkansas; and nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Veryle, Garry and Eugene.

Otto Bartel
GOESSEL - Otto Bartel, 81, died Dec. 4, 2004, at Bethesda Home, Goessel.
He was born Sept. 17, 1923, in rural Hillsboro, the son of Peter and Anna Schmidt Bartel. A lifelong Hillsboro/Goessel resident, he was a farmer. He belonged to Goessel Mennonite Church.
On Sept. 4, 1947, he married
Geneva Dirksen. She survives, Goessel.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Carol Hartzler, Newton, and Bev Claassen, Beatrice, Neb.; two brothers, Roland, Eugene, Ore., and Peter, Wichita; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter; four brothers; a sister; and a grandchild.
Memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Goessel Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Kevin Goertzen presiding. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Goessel Mennonite Church fellowship hall. Private burial will be in GoesselCemeteryprior to memorial service.

Angelita Moralez
GARDEN CITY - Angelita Moralez, 52, died Dec. 3, 2004, at Kearny County Hospital, Lakin.
She was born March 5, 1952, at Garden City, the daughter of Isidro N. and Josephine Moralez. A Garden City resident for the past 10 years, moving from Norton and Winfield, also growing up at Garden City, she was a custodian and cafeteria worker.
She belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church, Sunshine Girls, Red Convertible Club and Golden Girl Club.
Survivors include: two roommates, Mary Heinrich and Donna Hazen; her guardian, Cynthia Lavrenz; and several special friends.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City, with the Rev. Lyle Stuehrenberg presiding. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.

Karen M. Collins
TUCSON, Ariz. - Karen M. Collins, 64, died Dec. 2, 2004, at Presbyterian St. Luke's, Denver, after a long battle with lung cancer.
She was born Oct. 13, 1940, at Great Bend. She graduated from Bison High School in 1958 and from Emporia State Teachers College in 1962. She received two master's degrees in adapted physical education and early childhood special education. A resident of Tucson, Ariz., and Littleton, Colo., she worked as a teacher.
She married
Robert D. Collins.
Survivors include: a son; a daughter; her mother, Alice C. Erbes, Great Bend; a grandson; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday, at Applewood Valley Methodist Church, with a potluck gathering immediately following.

Dean Blagrave
LIBERAL - Dean Blagrave, 63, died Dec. 2, 2004, at his home, Liberal, following an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 19, 1941, at Beloit, the son of Francis H. and Amy E. Standley Blagrave. A Liberal resident since 1970, living at Meade since 1962, formerly of Fowler, Oberlin, Hays, Ness City and Great Bend, he worked for Western Testing. In 1973, he began Dean's Testers, which he operated until his retirement in 1998.
He was instrumental in the Arkalon Park, volunteering for more than 12 years.
On May 15, 1961, he married
Mary J. Brungardt at Grainfield. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Phillip Blagrave, Liberal; a daughter, Anita Thompson, Liberal; two brothers, Steven, Tulsa, Okla., and Michael, Perris, Calif.; five sisters, Helena Smith, Buffalo, Okla., Mariah Cook, Cimarron, Ramona Rogers, LeRoy, Jean Nabors, Hugoton, and Ruth Subert, Hays; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Inurnment will take place at a later date under the arrangements of Miller Mortuary, Liberal.
Wilma F. Bohanan
LIBERAL - Wilma Ferne Bohanan, 82, died Dec. 3, 2004, at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal.
She was born March 23, 1922, at Texoma, Texas, the daughter of John W. and Evangeline Butler Craig. She graduated from Guymon, Okla., High School and attended Panhandle State University, Goodwell, Okla., and Seward County Community College. A Liberal resident, she was a bookkeeper for her husband at Bohanan Welding for 25 years. She also worked at the snack bar of SWMC Hospital Auxiliary for more than 45 years.
She belonged to First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Meninger Bible Study.
On July 23, 1944, she married
Guymon Bohanan at Guymon, Okla. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Mitch, Wichita; a daughter, Emma Jean "E. J." Salley, Liberal; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sam and John Craig.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ken Hathaway presiding. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with family receiving friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, all at Miller Mortuary, Liberal. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery, Guymon, Okla.

GREENSBURG - Hazel Dick, 82, died Dec. 3, 2004, at Hilltop Manor, Cunningham.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fleener Funeral Chapel, Greensburg. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg.
Mary L. Taylor
PRATT - Mary Lee Taylor, 74, died Dec. 3, 2004, at her home, Pratt.
She was born March 18, 1930, in rural Stafford County, the daughter of James Everett and Goldie Ruth Pound Blazer. A 42-year Pratt resident, moving from Kinsley, she was a retired printer and co-owner of Taylor Printing.
She belonged to First Baptist Church, Pratt, and Baptist Women's Circle.
On July 22, 1948, she married
Charles S. Taylor. He died Dec. 30, 2003.
Survivors include: two sons, Jeff and Brian, both of Pratt; two daughters, Debra Daniel, Abilene, and Gail Sullivan, Great Bend; four brothers, Roger, Jim, both of Natoma, John and Steve, both of Oak Grove, Ark.; four sisters, Nedra Sizemore, St. John, Jean Blazer, Natoma, Polly Baldwin, Bucklin, and Ellen New, Jacksonville, Texas; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and James, an infant.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Pratt, with Pastor Doug Enick presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.

Fannie M. Fischer
LAKE CHARLES, La. - Fannie Mary Fischer died Dec. 2, 2004, at Grand Cove Retirement Center, Lake Charles, La.
She was born Nov. 11, 1908, at Welsh, La. A former resident of Hooker, Okla., she worked as a hairdresser.
She was active in Women's Missionary Union and was a lifetime member of clubs including Rebekah Lodge and Eastern Star.
In 1931, she married
Cecil E. Kemble. He died in 1943. Then, in 1971, she married
Louis F. Fischer.
Survivors include: a son; three stepchildren; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 27 step-great-grandchildren; five step-great-great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Charles, La., with the Revs. Vernon Chevallier and Francis LaRocque presiding.
Ralph Kraft
UTICA - Ralph Kraft, 89, died Dec. 3, 2004, at Grisell Memorial Long Term Care, Ransom.
He was born Nov. 17, 1915, in Russell County, the son of David and Emma Steinert Kraft. He attended Cromwell School, District 53, Russell County, through the eighth grade. A Utica resident, formerly of Galatia, he retired as a farmer at the age of 62.
He was baptized in 1915 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Milberger. He attended First Christian Church, Utica.
On July 3, 1939, he married
Jean Comstock in Russell County. Later, he married
Erma Halbleib.
Survivors include: three sons, John, Oklahoma City, Okla., Richard, Concordia, and Steven, Rangely, Colo.; two daughters, Shirley Adams, Mesa, Ariz., and Peggy Davis, Elizabeth, Colo.; two brothers, Herbert, Russell, and Eugene, Bunker Hill; four sisters, Esther Burris, Edna Miller, both of Russell, Elma Wilhelm, Wichita, and Norma Thompson, Sherwood, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Edwin; and three sisters, Rachael Wagner, Irene Miller and Amelia Miller.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, Utica, with the Rev. Howard Bever presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, and until service time Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Utica Cemetery.

Vergil C. Lantis
KINGMAN - Vergil C. Lantis, 83, died Dec. 3, 2004, at Kingman Community Hospital.
He was born Dec. 6, 1920, at Pretty Prairie, the son of George H. and Mattie Hays Lantis. A longtime Kingman resident, he retired from Stuart Dixon Hardware Store and also as a farmer.
He belonged to Kingman Community Church, Kingman County Ringmasters and Midian Shrine Temple, Wichita. He was Worthy Patron of Della OES Chapter No. 172 and past master of Ninnescah Lodge No. 230 AF and AM, York and Scottish Rite Bodies.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
On Jan. 31, 1942, he married
Merlynn Crouch at Wichita. She survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Linda Freeman, Newton, and LeAnn Grant, Hutchinson; a sister, Mattie Banks, Kingman; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles; and two sisters, Eunice Wilson and Laura Young.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kingman Christian Church, with the Rev. Karen Ault presiding. Friends may call from 12 to 8 p.m. Monday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in Cleveland Cemetery.
