Wayne L. Rudolph
SCOTT CITY - Wayne L. Rudolph, 86, died Oct. 21, 2004, at Park Lane Nursing Home, Scott City.

He was born July 7, 1918, at Scott County, the son of Elmer and Gertrude Rhodes Rudolph. He graduated from high school in 1936. A lifetime Scott County resident, he spent his life farming both irrigated and dry land ground, receiving the KBA Soil Conservation Award.

He belonged to United Methodist Church, Scott City, where he served as a Sunday school teacher. He was a life member of UMW, a past school board member, past soil conservation board member and past Scott County Hospital Board Member.

On May 18, 1941, he married Thelma Granger at Leoti. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Wayne Lee Jr., Mountain Top, Pa.; a daughter, Glenda Randall, Scott City; a brother, Glen Rudolph, Versdale, Wash.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Winderlin and Betty Bennett; and a brother, Elmer.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Scott City, with the Rev. Mike McGuire presiding. Burial will be in Scott County Cemetery. Price & Sons Funeral Home, Scott City, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be sent to the church or the Alzheimer's Association, both in care of the funeral home.

Elmer E. Radloff
ELKHART - Elmer E. Radloff, 84, died Oct. 21, 2004, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph Campus, Wichita.

He was born Feb. 14, 1920, at Athol, the son of William and Amalia Hinkel Radloff. A resident of Elkhart, he retired from Cities Service in 1982.

He belonged to Elkhart United Methodist Church, Point Rock Golf Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3162. He was a longtime member of the Elkhart School Board.

He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.

On June 26, 1946, he married Eve Hutchinson at Logan. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Craig, Elkhart; three daughters, Carolyn La Rue, Elkhart, Lu Ann Dawdy, Roswell, N. M., and Lana Radloff, Stafford; a sister, Elsie Deakins, Logan; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers; and six sisters.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Elkhart, with the Rev. James L. Brackett presiding. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be sent to United Methodist Church of Elkhart or to a charitable organization of the donor's choice, in care of Garnand Funeral Home, Elkhart.

Sergio Tinoco
HUGOTON - Sergio Tinoco, 35, died Oct. 21, 2004, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita, as a result of a truck accident.

He was born April 12, 1968, at Morelia-Mich-Mexico, the son of Santiago and Josefina Garcia Tinoco. Moving to Hugoton in 1986 from Mexico, he was a tool pusher for Murfin Drilling Company.

He belonged to Monte Santo Pentecostal Holiness Church, Hugoton.

On June 8, 1991, he married Lucy Martinez at Hugoton. She survives, Hugoton.

Other survivors include: three sons, Sergio Isaac, Israel Isaai and Misael Mesak, all of the home; six brothers, Jose, Jorge, Santiago, Juan, Martin and Arturo, all of Hugoton; two sisters, Maria De Jesus Gomez, Morelia-Mich-Mexico, and Maria Delus Angeles Alfaro, Hugoton; many nephews, nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church, Hugoton, with Pastor Jorge Tinoco presiding. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Paul's Funeral Home and from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Monte Santo Pentecostal Holiness Church, Hugoton. Burial will be in Hugoton Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the family, in care of the funeral home.

Doris Marie Thon
TRIBUNE - Doris Marie Thon, 75, died Oct. 21, 2004, at Greeley County Hospital, Tribune, after a lengthy illness.

She was born March 17, 1929, at Utica, the daughter of Seneca and Blanche Shank McCray. She graduated from Utica High School in 1947. A resident of Tribune, she was a homemaker.

She belonged to First Baptist Church, Tribune, where she also served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.

On Aug. 17, 1947, she married Ronald I. Thon at Tribune. He survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Kenneth, Basin, Wyo., and Michael, Tribune; a daughter, Rhonda Moritz, Tribune; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Rodger; and two sisters, Irene Donovan and Ida Belle Upjohn.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. (MDT) Monday at First Baptist Church, Tribune, with the Rev. Mark Randolph presiding. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. (MDT) Saturday and 1 to 8 p.m. (MDT) Sunday, both at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Tribune. Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery, Tribune.

Memorials may be sent to the church or Greeley County Hospital, both in care of the funeral home.

Reva Mae Mease
ISABEL - Reva Mae Mease, 80, died Oct. 21, 2004, at Pratt Regional Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 1, 1924, at Isabel, the daughter of Clifford and Eunice Corbin Coss. A lifetime resident of Isabel, she was a homemaker.

She belonged to Isabel Methodist Church; American Legion Auxiliary, Isabel; Eastern Star, Medicine Lodge; and Kansas Federation of China Painting.

On Dec. 16, 1944, she married Paul M. Mease at Medicine Lodge. He survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Robert Paul and Don Henry, both of Wichita; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Coss.

Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge, with R.D. Cogswell presiding. Friends may sign the book from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family burial.

Memorials may be sent to American Legion Post No. 98, Isabel, or Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital, both in care of the funeral home.

Victor Eugene Stucky
SALINA - Victor Eugene Stucky, 83, died Oct. 10, 2004, at Denver, Colo.

He was born Feb. 19, 1921, at Castleton. He was a retired Salesman of Welding Products.

Survivors include: former spouse, Ruth Stucky, Atchison; three stepsons, Steven, Ithaca, N.Y., Scott, Dripping Springs, Texas, and Mark Stucky, Littleton, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Sherry Stucky Clark, Coas Bay, Ore., and Judith Stucky, Englewood, Colo.; two sisters, Florence Hayes, Hutchinson, and Ruth Galle, Moundridge; and seven grandchildren.

Private family service will be held in November in Denver, Colo. The cremation services were handled by Monarch Society, Denver.

Elva L. Goering
NORTH NEWTON - Elva L. Goering, 91, died Oct. 14, 2004, at Kidron Bethel Health Care, North Newton.

She was born May 25, 1913, at rural McPherson, the daughter of John B. and Jessie Schrag Goering. She attended Peaceful School, rural McPherson County, and Moundridge High School. A resident of Pretty Prairie for 39 years prior to moving to Schowalter Villa, Hesston, and to Kidron Bethel Village, North Newton, in 1999, she was a cook at McPherson High School and Pretty Prairie Sunshine Home and a homemaker.

She belonged to Newton First Mennonite Church.

On Jan. 10, 1955, she married Dan J. Goering at Elbing. He died Jan. 6, 1980.

Survivors include: a stepson, Donald Goering, Hugoton; two stepdaughters, Lola Miller, Moundridge, and LaVera Ayers, Portland, Ore.; six brothers, Arthur Goering, Newton, John Goering, Gresham, Ore., Leonard Goering, Newton, James Goering, Dayton, Va., Harry Goering, Menifee, Calif., and Larry Goering, Ayden, N.C.; two sisters, Martha Sundgren, Denver, and Joan Epp, Goessel; seven step-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; and a step-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Walter, Alvin, Willard, Daniel, Herbert and Ralph Goering; and a sister, Frieda Regier.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Mennonite Church, Newton, with Chaplain Amanda Rempel and Pastor Clarence Rempel presiding. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, with family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Mennonite Church Cemetery, Pretty Prairie.

Memorials may be sent to MCC-Global Family or Kidron-Bethel Healthcare, both in care of the funeral home.

Philip Charles Armbruster
Philip Charles Armbruster, 85, beloved husband, died Oct. 14, 2004, at his home, Hutchinson.

He was born Dec. 14, 1918, at Ellis, the son of Philip H. and Anna Marie Kroeger Armbruster. He graduated from Ellis High School in 1939. A longtime Hutchinson resident, he was a delivery driver for Blick Sales (Schlitz), owner and operator of Winnie Winkle, and he retired from Kansas Oxygen.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Bob Campbell Post No. 1361.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class.

He married Dorothy Mae Branham. Then, on Aug. 18, 1975, he married Colleen Ida Cavanaugh at Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Mike, Hutchinson; three stepsons, Daniel Hornbeck, Hutchinson, Michael Hornbeck, Owasso, Okla., and Joseph Hornbeck, Wichita; two stepdaughters, Patricia Hornbeck, Nickerson, and Kathleen Turner, Hutchinson; a brother, Oscar Armbruster, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Minnie Ries, Lakewood, Colo.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William "Bill"; a sister, Anna Marie Armbruster; foster parents, who raised him from infancy, John and Katherine Kelsch; four foster brothers, John, Joe, Rudolph and Frank Kelsch; and three foster sisters, Mary Zackman, Minnie and Jenny Hillman.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Ray E. Kempel presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, with military graveside rites conducted by Kansas Air National Honor Guard.

Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County, in care of the mortuary.
