Vincent Graham Kelp
NEWTON - Vincent Graham Kelp, 3, died Oct. 17, 2004, in Harvey County Eastlake, Newton.
He was born Dec. 7, 2000, at Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Darryl "Marc" and Laura Dorene Thompson Kelp. He was a very active young boy who enjoyed the outdoors and life in general. He spent time skateboarding with his brother and loved any kind of ball playing. He was very much looking forward to preschool. His energy, excitement for life and his love will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include: his father, Ennis, Texas; his mother, Newton; three brothers, Adam Carson, Marc Kelp and Blythe Kelp, all of Newton; two sisters, Lauren and Lacy Kelp, both of Newton; grandmothers, Leslie McCracken, Cheney, and Viola Williams, Omaha, Neb.; and great-grandparents, Gene and Opal Chambers, Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy McCracken and William Kemp.
Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Newton, with Thomas McDonald presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Frances A. Gasser
LARNED - Frances A. Gasser died Oct. 18, 2004, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Larned.
She was born Jan. 24, 1911, at Olmitz, the daughter of Joseph Frank and Mary Louise Weiser Haberman. A longtime Larned resident, she was a retired psychiatric aide at Larned State Hospital. She was also a homemaker.
She belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society, both at Larned.
On Nov. 23, 1948, she married
Edward John Gasser. He died July 31, 1991.
Survivors include: two sons, Joseph "Joe, " Larned, and Martin "Marty, " Wichita; a daughter, Mary Shelton, Larned; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Frank, Joseph, Anton, Jule, Leo, Emil and Henry Haberman; and three sisters, Emelia Gumbir, Mary Kevan and Helen Boyd.
Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Morell Funeral Home, Larned. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Father David Kraus presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Larned Cemetery.

Morton D. 'Marty' Reed
ELLSWORTH - Morton D. "Marty" Reed, 58, died Oct. 17, 2004, at Ellsworth County Medical Center.
He was born May 5, 1946, at Alton, Ill., the son of Robert and Leah James Reed. A 30-year resident of Ellsworth, moving from McCracken, he was a retired Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper.
He belonged to St. Bernard's Catholic Church and was a past Ellsworth County commissioner and councilman and member and past commander of Ellsworth Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6485. He was a U.S. Marines veteran of the Vietnam War.
On July 4, 1970, he married
Janet Ferland at Zurich. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Darin and Daniel Reed, both of Hays; two daughters, Lisa Weber, Hays, and Lori Sprague, McPherson; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by twin daughters, Dana Ann and Jana Marie.
Vigil service will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Ellsworth, with Father Daniel Scheetz presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ellsworth MemorialCemeterywith military honors.

Loretta M. Leete
DODGE CITY - Loretta M. Leete died Oct. 16, 2004, at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.
She was born March 6, 1927, at Hugoton, the daughter of Silas O. and Augusta M. Glackin Barton. She attended school at Liberal. She worked at Beech Aircraft during World War II and later at the Eureka Laundry. She worked at McDonalds for 23 years, retiring in 2002, when she moved to Dodge City. She worked at Park Plaza Towers and Senior Companions for the last two years.
She belonged to First Assembly of God Church, Liberal, Senior Friends and the Senior Companions, Dodge City.
On Nov. 6, 1943, she married
Charles H. Lerch at Liberal. On Feb. 6, 1954, she married
Robert R. Leete at Alamogordo, N.M. He died Jan. 29, 1997.
Survivors include: three sons, Charles Lerch, Liberal, Arden Lerch, Dodge City, and Robert Leete, Liberal; a sister, Louise Dacy, Farmington, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son a brother and a sister.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Robert Bailey presiding. Visitation will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Miller Mortuary, Liberal. Interment will be in Liberal Cemetery.
Frank Duane Bennett
MARLOW, Okla. - Frank Duane Bennett, 63, died Oct. 16, 2004, at Marlow, Okla.. . . .
He was born May 30, 1941, at Wichita, the son of Ben C. and Viola Mae Marsh Bennett. A graduate of West High School, Wichita, he received his bachelor degree of science from Cameron University, Lawton, Okla., in 1997 when he was 58 years old. He lived in Wichita for 29 years and Cimarron for 14 years before moving to Marlow, Okla. He was a carpenter.
He belonged to Eastside Baptist Church, Marlow, Okla., where he was the music director.
On June 28, 1963, he married
Judy Taylor. On Jan. 9, 1985, he married
Penney Janette Ritchey at Wichita Falls, Texas. She survives.
Other survivors include: four daughters, including Vicky Best and Stephanie West, both of Meade; a stepdaughter; a stepson; three sisters, including Clara Davis, Danville; a brother; 22 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eastside Baptist Church, Marlow, Okla.

Vivian E. Huxman Schneiders
MANHATTAN - Vivian E. Huxman Schneiders, 82, died Oct. 17, 2004, at Stoneybrook Health Care Center, Manhattan.
She was the mother of former Hutchinson resident Tony Schneiders, now of Argos, Ind.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Manhattan.

Alfred Henning
KINGMAN - Alfred Henning, 85, died Oct. 17, 2004, at Hilltop Manor, Cunningham.
He was born Feb. 24, 1919, at Willowdale, the son of Pete and Anne Weingardt Henning. A Willowdale resident most of his life, moving to Kingman in 1973, he was the retired custodian for St. Patrick Grade School and St. Patrick Church, to which he belonged.
On Dec. 20, 1973, he married
Eleanor Cheatum at Kingman. She died July 15, 1988.
Survivors include: two sisters, Pauline Kimminau, Wichita, and Helen Nirschl House, Independence; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Joseph Henning, and two sisters, Geneieve Zrubek Lewis and Mary Ann Mies.
Parish rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman, with Father Joseph Tatro presiding. Friends may call after noon Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman.

Marie Unruh
CANTON - Marie Unruh, 81, died Oct. 17, 2004, at Shiloh Manor, Canton.
She was born March 15, 1923, at Coldwater, the daughter of Elias T. and Susie Schultz Unruh. She graduated from McPherson High School. A Canton resident for six months, moving from Canoga Park, Calif., she was a paralegal.
Survivors include: three brothers, Joe and Arvin, both of Canton, and Derald Unruh, Galva; and five sisters, Dora Unruh, Galva, Velma Deppe, Delanco, N.J., Florence Dearing, Easton, Penn., Maurine Christensen, McPherson, and Thelma Gibson, Bixby, Okla.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lone Tree Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, with Ministers Roger Unruh, Gary Nightingale and Weldon Koehn presiding. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moundridge Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lone Tree Church Cemetery, rural Galva.

Teresa Marie Burnside
BUFFALO, Okla. - Teresa Marie Burnside, 42, died Sept. 5, 2004, at her home, Salem, Ore.
She was born Jan. 14, 1962, at Dodge City, the daughter of Jim Burnside and Gayle Gard. A Salem resident, formerly of Texhoma and Buffalo, she was a registered nurse.
Survivors include: her father and wife, Shirley, Buffalo; her mother; four half brothers, including Keith Burnside, Hesston; and a grandmother.
Celebration of Life Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, Buffalo, with the Rev. Carolyn Morrow presiding. Myatt Funeral Home, Buffalo, is in charge of the arrangements.
