Clifford Seifarth
MEDICINE LODGE - Clifford Seifarth, 82, died Nov. 19, 2004, at Kiowa District Manor.
He was born June 29, 1922, at Maryland, the son of Andrew and Ruth Walsh Seifarth. A Kiowa resident since 2000, moving from Medicine Lodge, he was a handyman.
He was a U.S. Merchant Marine during World War II.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge, with Pastor Tom Walters presiding.
Memorials may be sent to a charitable organization of the donor's choice in care of Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge.
Elda M. Plank
Elda M. Friesen Plank, 67, died Nov. 8, 2004, at Fresno, Calif.
She was born Nov. 27, 1936, at Meade. She graduated from Grace Hospital School of Nursing, Hutchinson. She was a Nurse Practitioner with the Fresno Children's Group, previously practicing at Minneola Clinic with Dr. Charles Stephens.
On April 21, 1973, she married
Edward Plank at Meade. He survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Denise Plank; a sister, Esther Smoker, Gap, Pa.; four brothers, Pete Friesen, Meade, Menno Friesen, Goshen, Ind., Dan Friesen, Denver, Marvin Friesen, Plains, Texas; three nephews, Eugene Friesen, Lincoln, Stanley Friesen, Meade, and Kevin Weins, Hutchinson; and a niece, Melody Weins Bontrager, No. Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margaret Wiens, Inman.
Memorial service was November 13 at College Community Mennonite Brethren Church, Fresno, Calif. Farewell Funeral Services, Fresno, is in charge of arrangements.
Dennis L. Fellers
Dennis Lynn Fellers, 46, died Nov. 18, 2004, at his home, Hutchinson.
He was born Nov. 27, 1957, at Hoisington, the son of Alvin R. and Billie Jean Joles Fellers.
Survivors include: three brothers, Brian, Hutchinson, Steven and Terry, both of Great Bend.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.
The body will be cremated. There will be no viewing. Book signing will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. There will be no public service.

Esther L. Whitt
JETMORE - Esther L. Whitt, 95, died Nov. 20, 2004, at Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.
She was born July 7, 1909, at Hodgeman County, the daughter of Ira and Florence Holmes Hawkins. A lifetime area resident, she was a legal secretary and worked at Hubbell Abstract.
She belonged to First Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge, all at Jetmore.
On Aug. 18, 1932, she married
Charles Whitt. They divorced, and he died May 13, 1978.
Survivors include: several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Chester, Ruby, Joseph and Kenneth, and three sisters, Ruth, Margie and Florence.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with the Rev. Brad Hanson presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.

Frank H. Lumley
TYRONE, Okla. - Frank H. Lumley, 64, died Nov. 18, 2004, at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal.
He was born Sept. 28, 1940, at Topeka, the son of Clyde and Mary Smith Lumley. A Tyrone, Okla., resident since 1981, formerly of Forgan, he was a truck driver for Air Products for 27 years, retiring in 2001.
On May 28, 1962, he married
Sue Stoker. She died May 29, 1989. In 1989, he married
Nancy L. Dechant Dumler. She died March 20, 2004.
Survivors include: eight sons, Randy, El Dorado, Steve Lumler, Canadian, Texas, John, Garden City, Bo, Tulsa, Okla., Charlie, Ada, Okla., Steve Dumler, Mesa, Ariz., Mike, Tyrone, Okla., Gus, McKinleyville, Calif., a daughter, Peggi Franklin, Liberal; 28 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Liberal, with Father Mike McAndrew presiding. Burial will be at a later date. Miller Mortuary, Liberal, is in charge of arrangements.
Anna Bitner
MANTER - Anna Bitner, 91, died Nov. 19, 2004, at Morton County Hospital, Elkhart.
She was born Sept. 12, 1913, at Grabow, Germany, the daughter of Fritz and Ann Marie Bruman Voigt. Moving to Meade from Germany at the age of two, she was a resident of Morton County since 1931. She worked as a farm wife.
On Jan. 10, 1935, she married
James S. Bitner at Richfield. He died Nov. 25, 1998.
Survivors include: a son, Joe, Manter; two daughters, Edith Bitner, Manter, and Sally Ann Johnson, Indianapolis; two sisters, Mary Grasham, Greensburg, and Freda Deck, Fowler; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Donald, Eugene and James.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Elkhart Cemetery, with Pastor Dennis Mason presiding. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Garnand Funeral Home, Elkhart.

Rosa L. Bennett
STERLING - Rosa L. Bennett, 90, died Nov. 18, 2004, at her home, rural Sterling.
She was born May 16, 1914, at Little River, the daughter of John Wesley and Ruth Luellia Long Wampler. She graduated from Lyons High School in 1932. A longtime Sterling resident, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Country Women HDU.
On Dec. 31, 1933, she married
Glen Allyn Bennett at Mitchell. He died Feb. 13, 2003.
Other survivors include: two sons, Gerald, Sterling, and Everette, Hutchinson; a daughter, Anita McCoy Venette, Brighton, Colo.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank, Ansel, John and George Wampler; and two sisters, Ethel Wampler and Lois Retuta.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Harold Nelson presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, all at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Sterling Cemetery.

Thomas P. Ryan
COLBY - Thomas P. Ryan, 60, of Johnson died Nov. 17, 2004, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
He was born Nov. 5, 1944, at Hays, the son of H.L. and Ethel Ryan. A 12-year Johnson resident, he was manager of Skyline Grain, Johnson.
He belonged to Knights of Columbus, 4th degree, and he was a charter member of Lions Club, Ford. He was a board member of Kansas Grain and Feed Dealers and Agriland. He also belonged to Rotary Club.
Survivors include: his wife, Pat, Johnson; a son, Bradley, Oakley; a daughter, Jennifer Newton, Apex, N.C.; his mother, Gem; six brothers, Larry, Gem, Jim, Kearney, Neb., Bill, Colby, Terry, Scott City, Donald, Mesa, Ariz., and Jerry, Russell; four sisters, Margaret Spangler, Kearney, Neb., Rose Marie Schell, Sterling, Colo., Mary Kay Woydziak, Hoisington, and Betty Gaines, Overbrook; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Harrison Chapel, Colby. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby, with Fathers James Dieker and Dana Clark presiding. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Gem.

Ramona Lenz
LAVERNE, Okla. - Ramona "Gay" Lenz, 65, died Nov. 19, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital, Enid, Okla.
She was born Dec. 6, 1938, seven miles northeast of Rosston, Okla., the daughter of Earl J. and Mona Clementine Cofield McAtee. She attended Rosston schools, graduating in 1957. A Laverne, Okla., resident, she owned Class Act Flower Shop, Laverne.
She belonged to First Baptist Church, Laverne.
On May 26, 1956, she married
George Roy Lenz at Laverne. He survives, Laverne.
Other survivors include: a son, Roy Earl, Laverne; two daughters, Mona Rae Green, Rosston, Okla., and Yvonda Kay Lenz, Laverne; a brother, Dr. Leo McAtee, Laverne; a sister, Lorena Null, Rosston; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Laverne, with the Revs. Ray Christian and Wes Peterman presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Myatt-Seeger Funeral Home, Laverne. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, north of Laverne.
