Lillian Inez Shepperson
1947 - 2005
Memorial services for Lillian Inez Shepperson, 57, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory in Casper, Wyo., with Pastor Rob Peterson of First Southern Baptist Church officiating. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions are suggested to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 South Wilson, Casper, WY 82601, because of all they have done for her and her family. She died March 30 at Central Wyoming Hospice Home. Lillian was born Aug. 10, 1947, in Great Bend, daughter of George V. and Elizabeth Grace (Thomason) Taylor. Lillian graduated from Campbell County High School in 1967 and then went on to the Rapid City School of Business College. She had lived in Casper off and on since 1973. She dedicated her life to being a daughter, sister and mother and was a friend to all she came in contact with. She assisted in care for her grandmother, Inez Thomason, for four years. She has been a devoted companion to her mother for the past 10 years while working as a security guard at the Casper Airport and also at the Family Dollar Store. She enjoyed reading, listening to country music and being with people. Lillian's life touched all she came in contact with. Her smile welcomed everyone into her life. She spent her time giving to all those around her, never thinking of herself. As we look back and think of Lilly, we remember her spirit of giving, sharing and caring. We think of her smile, her laughter, and most of all of the way she gave herself to others, always covering the negative with her love, seeing the good in others, never the fault, looking beyond the outside of a person, seeing their heart. Lilly brought out the best in each one of us and we are grateful that our Lord and Savior blessed us with the beauty of Lillian Inez. You have been a spectacular fragrance in our life. We will miss you and look forward to that time when we will meet again. We love you and want to thank you for all you have given to each one of us. Rest now our beloved one, be at peace now and forever, with all our love. Your family. Survivors include her mother; a sister, Arlydia K. Briscoe of Shell, Wyo.; brother, George V. Taylor, III and wife, of Casper; children, Llewetta Taylor, Charles J. Henderson, Jr., and Reggie D. Henderson and his wife, Christi, all of Casper; grandchildren, Amy, Nathan, Matthew, C.J., Lucy, Maddy and Zach; aunt, Darlene Creacy and aunt, Pauline Thomason of Great Bend; aunt, Lois Thomason of Liberal; and numerous cousins also from Great Bend.
