Margaret B. Reynolds

Margaret B. Reynolds, 94, formerly of Junction City died Thursday at Stanford House.

Born Jan. 5, 1906, in Washington County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Clair Baker Cunningham. She was the widow of George Reynolds. She was a member of Mount Freeman Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Hilda Clair Crawley of Tucson, Ariz.; three sons, Harrison Reynolds of Stanford, Elwood Reynolds of Parksville and Avorn Reynolds of Junction City; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Morris Trayner. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, George, Richard, Timmy, Charlie, James and Randall Reynolds.

Visitation is after 3 p.m. Sunday.

Dorothea Smith, 74, of Sander Clay Circle died today at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete at Stith Funeral Home.

Thelma G. Taylor

RICHMOND -- Thelma Graham Taylor, 95, of Richmond died Tuesday at Patti A. Clay Hospital.

She and her late husband, Leonard C. Taylor lived in Danville in the 1960s. She taught third grade at Jennie Rogers Elementary School and he was superintendent of Danville Independent Schools.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn and Susan Taylor, both of Richmond.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Bowling Green. Burial will follow at the Bowling Green Cemetery.

Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church Building Fund, Main and Lancaster streets, Richmond 40476 or Salvation Army, P.O. Box 527, Richmond 40476.

Nellie R. Fox

LEXINGTON -- Services for Nellie Ruth Fox, 64, of Lexington will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home.

Burial will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Buffalo Springs Cemetery, Stanford.

She died Wednesday.

Born on April 19, 1936, she was a daughter of Henry and Cordia Siler of Waynesburg. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and a member of University Heights Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph B. Fox; a daughter, Rebecca Collins of Lexington; two sons, Paul Fox of Lexington and Tim Fox of Kittredge, Colo.; three sisters, Ruby Genton of Cincinnati, Ohio, Peggy Stickler of Stanford, and Helen Stephens of Cookville, Tenn.; a brother, Tom Siler of Waynesburg; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday.

James H. Henderson

LANCASTER -- James Harvey Henderson, 89, of Paint Lick died Thursday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Garrard County, he was a son of the late James G. and Annie Gastineau Henderson. He was a retired farmer and a deacon and elder of Fairview Christian Church. He was the widower of Mary Etta Naylor and Georgia Vore Henderson.

Survivors include a son, James H. Henderson Jr. of Lancaster; two sisters, Pearl Hedrick and Beulah Miller, both of Paint Lick; four grandchildren; a step granddaughter; nine great-grandchildren; and a step great-grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Fairview Christian Church by the Rev. Bill Morrow and Mel Bonner. Burial will be in Manse Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be G.H. Miller, Bill Hedrick, Mike Poynter, Chris Wren, Chris Cowan, Greg Jones and Jimmy Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Charles and Jack Locker, Beverly Miller, Melvin Begley, Olaf Fathergill, Robert Henderson and Ernie Whitlock.

Memorials may go to Fairview Christian Church flower fund.

Robert F. Dawson

Services for Robert Franklin Dawson, 76, of High Street will be 1 p.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by Bully Singleton. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

He died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born May 12, 1924, in Boyle County, he was a son of the late Benjamin F. and Emily Neikirk Dawson. He was a retired furniture upholsterer, a member of Salvation Army Church, World War II Army veteran and a member of Boyle Post 46, American Legion and Post 3634, Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife Frances Graham Dawson; a son, Ricky Lee Dawson of Danville; a sister, Nellie Lawson of Nicholasville; and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be A.J. and Dave Graham, Robert Graham II and Robert Graham III and Terry Orcutt.

Memorial may go to the Salvation Army Church or University of Kentucky Basketball Museum.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

Josephine Brummett

STANFORD -- A memorial service for Josephine Brummett, 79, of East Main Street, Hustonville, will be held at a later date.

She died Thursday at Fort Logan Hospital.

Born June 8, 1921, in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late William and Mabel Goens. She was a former employee of Cowden Manufacturing Co. and a former custodian at Lincoln County High School and Fort Logan Hospital. She was a Baptist. She was the widow of Jack William "Goodin" Brummett.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruby L. Lanigan of Hustonville; a brother, Louis Melton of Lexington; a sister, Ruby N. Preston of Danville; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Gwendolyn R. Carter

HARRODSBURG -- Services for Gwendolyn Royalty Carter, 55, of Moberly Road will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Bobby Slagle and James Harley. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

She died Wednesday.

Born March 3, 1945, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Owsley C. and Irene Baker Royalty. She was a former employee of Hitachi and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Sallee of Harrodsburg; a brother, G.B. "Boo" Royalty of Mercer County; three sisters, Etta Henderson and Colleen Horn, both of Harrodsburg, and Janice Sharp of Garrard County; and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary L. "Bub" Carter.

Pallbearers will be Ricky and Larry Henderson, Jeffrey, Bret and Glen Royalty, and William Madden, Terry Lewis and Mike Baker .

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and after 7 a.m. Sunday.

Born April 19, 1907, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Adams Adams.

She was a homemaker and a member of Gilberts Creek Baptist Church. She was the widow of Midd Elam.

Survivors include a son, Johnnie L. Elam of Cartersville.

Pallbearers will be Arthur Cupp, Donald Adams, Donnie Elam, Bill Elam, J.D. Prewitt and Charles Elam. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Anderson and Buddy Johnson.
