LIBERTY -- Rita Darlene Buck, 35, of Liberty died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center after suffering an apparent heart attack.
Born Aug. 8, 1964, in Campbellsville, she was a daughter of Corrine Baxter Derringer of Hustonville and the late Alvin Buck. She was an embroidery operator for Oshkosh B'Gosh.
Other survivors include two brothers, Zyndall Buck of Dunnville and Leon Buck of Hustonville.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. G.W. Smith and Clifford Dehart. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at Bartle Funeral Home.

May E. Coursey
HARRODSBURG -- May E. Coursey, 85, of Dry Branch Road, formerly of Chicopee, Mass., died Saturday at Harrodsburg Health Care Center.
Born May 29, 1914, in Middlebury, Vt., she was a daughter of the late Rolla and Bertha Place Hallock. She was a retired department supervisor at Forbes and Wallace Stores, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the widow of Earl R. "Dick" Coursey.
Survivors include two daughters, Joan E. Evon of Chicopee and Ann Tanhauser of Harrodsburg; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard H. Coursey.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrews Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Muench. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chigger Flynn, Hershel Votaw, Earl Moore, Bill Darland, Richard Tanhauser Jr., and Richard VanDonger.
Visitation is after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

LIBERTY -- Laura Mae Haggard, 85, of Apostolic Ridge died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Oct., 24, 1914, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late George and Ollie Hughes Ellis. She was a homemaker and a member of Green River Valley Baptist Church. She was the widow of Earl Haggard.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Haggard of Liberty; two sisters, Nannie Hudson of Dunnville and Dorothy Richards of Cincinnati.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Clifton Cowan and Daryl Coe. Burial will be in Green River Valley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul and Benjamin Buck, Marvin Vaught, Otis Terry, Kenny Stinson and Bill Cements.

HARRODSBURG -- Randolph Bronston Holt, 80, of North Main Street died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born July 17, 1919, in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Silas D. and Molly F. Harley Holt. He was an auto mechanic and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was the widower of Jeanette P. Bailey Holt.
Survivors include a son, Bronston E. Holt of Boyle County; two brothers, Franklin and Kenneth Holt, both of Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Mabel Stratton of Lawrenceburg and Janie Disponnette of Frankfort.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jack Guerin. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Buford Disponnette, Robert E. Holt, William Stratton, Kenneth Stratton, Robert L. Holt and David Holt.
Honorary pallbearers are member of his Sunday School class at Bethel Baptist Church.

Chester E. Petrey
CRAB ORCHARD -- Chester Earl Petrey Sr., 83, of Reynolds Road died Monday at his home.
Born Sept. 15, 1916, in Pulaski County, he was a son of the late Ancil and Emily Burleson Petrey. He was retired after 21 years with Stearns and Foster and 15 years with Penn Ventilation in Junction City. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alma L. Powers Petrey; seven sons, William A. "Tommy" Petrey of Mason, Ohio, Bobby L. Petrey of Lockland, Ohio, Leroy Petrey of Stanford, and Dallas R. , Jerry L. and Johnny A. Petrey, all of Crab Orchard, and Chester E. "C.J." Petrey of Lancaster; two daughters, Joyce A. Brown of Crab Orchard and Ina Mae Elder of Stanford; 22 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Wilma J. Petrey.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Liberty Baptist Church by Cecil Roundtree. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday and 8-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home and after noon Wednesday at the church.

CRAB ORCHARD -- Franklin D. Thompson, 65, of Hwy. 1972, Paint Lick, formerly of Crab Orchard, died from complications of cancer Sunday at his residence.
Born Sept. 12, 1934, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Herbert E. and Martha Ella Wren Thompson. He was a former employee of Stearns & Foster in Cincinnati.
Survivors include three nieces, Christina Johnson of Lancaster, Janet Gutenson of Ottenheim and Norman Jean Rector of Cincinnati; three nephews, George Thompson Jr. of Crab Orchard, Jimmy Barnett of Paint Lick and Mitchell Thompson of Lexington.

Myrtle Dotson, 88, of Hustonville, formerly of Freeburn, died Friday at Charleston Health Care Center.
Born Nov. 20, 1911, in Freeburn, she was a daughter of the late James and Sally Mounts Daugherty. She was a housewife and a member of Freeburn Church of God. She was the widow of Scott Dotson.
Survivors include four daughters, Ruby Mathieson of Maryland, Alice Wallace of Freeburn, Roma Ryder of Reston, Va., and Sylvia Dotson of Maryland; five sons, Don and Glen Dotson, both of Huston-ville; and James Scott, Billy and James Dotson, all of Mary-land; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary Hill "Pinky" Alexander Hudson, 90, died Saturday at Charleston Health Care Center.
Born June 19, 1909, in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Claude Til-ford and Jessie Wilson Alexander. She was the widow of Charles L. Hudson. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Lexington Road Home-makers Club and the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include a nephew, William O. (Bud) Alexander of Cincinnati; five nieces, Chi Chi Pierce of Plano, Texas, Mary Ann Runyan of Danville, Claudia Colbert of Louisville, Peggy Hope of Cincinnati and Loretta Yeary of Burgin; 12 great nieces and nephews and 12 great-great nieces and nephews.

LANCASTER -- Charles Irvine Hood, 69, of West Maple Avenue, died Saturday at Central Baptist Hospital.
Born Nov. 16, 1930, in Som-erset, he was a son of the late Charles H. and Cora Irvine Hood. He was a field engineer, a member of the Buena Vista Baptist Church and a World War II veteran. He was the husband of Rosamond Child-ress Hood.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Gasa-way of Marietta, Ga. and Elizabeth Hood of Charlotte, N.C.; two step-daughters, Char-lee Pagoulatos of Lexington and Rosemond Shelton of Bryantsville; a step-son, George C. Heaton of King-ton, Idaho; a brother, William A. Hood of Louisville; and five grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Buena Vista Baptist Church by Mel Bonner and the Rev. Larry Harris. American Legion Post No. 38 will perform a 21-gun salute. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rueben Naylor, Kenneth Parsons, Michael Bolin, Harvey Howard and Angelos Pagoulatos.
