Helen Frances D. Lair, 75, of Argyle Drive died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 7, 1925, in Bour-bon County, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Jane Wilmot Davis. She was a homemaker and a retired home economics teacher in the Bourbon County school system. She was a volunteer for Heritage Hospice and Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, and a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ.)
Survivors include her husband, Matt R. Lair Jr.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church by the Revs. Norman Hagley and Caroline Bloomfield. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Stephen, Michael, Dickie, Matthew and Bobby Mayes, Chris White-house and Jerry Milburn.
Honorary pallbearers are members of the Lair Circle at First Christian Church.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home and noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials may go to the church building fund or favorite charity.

LIBERTY -- Kathy Ann Clements, 31, of Bethel, Ohio, died Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati of natural causes.
Born March 18, 1968, in Stanford, she was a daughter of Mary Etta Cain Clements of Liberty and the late William H. Clements. She was a homemaker.
Other survivors include three sons, Ricky Neal and Billy H. Clements-Newberry, both of Bethel, Ohio, and Christopher Wies of Amelia, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Clements of Liberty; three brothers, Mike Clements of Georgetown, Ohio, Jackie Clements of Mount Orab, Ohio, and Dewayne Clements of Liberty; a sister, Marlene Fox of Williamsburg, Ohio; and a boyfriend, William Newberry of Bethel, Ohio.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bartle Funeral Home by Bobby Young. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery.

HARRODSBURG -- Lucile Marie Freeland, 86, of Louisville died Sunday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born July 22, 1913, in Dowagiac, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Eva Henwood Paul. She was a homemaker and a member of Meadowview Presbyterian Church, Louisville.
Survivors include her husband, Norval O. Freeland; a son, Thomas Freeland of Harrodsburg; a sister, Marion Wicks of Dowagiac; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. James Baughman. Burial will be Thursday in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac.
Visitation is 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.

ROANOKE, Va. -- Fanny Lynn Gearhart, 79, of Roanoke died Friday at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was the widow of John I. Gearhart.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Rathburn of Golden, Colo., Suzanne Jackson of Danville and Jacqueline Johnson of Moneta, Va.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel by Phil Gallagher. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Diocesan Cemetery.

Berkley D. Salyers
LIBERTY -- Berkley Dale Salyers, 67, of Poplar Hill Road died Sunday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born Oct. 11, 1932, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Vencil and Margie Crockett Salyers. He was an electrician, a veteran of the Korean War and a former co-owner of Salyers and Tarter TV and Electric. He was a member of Watsons Chapel Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mardena Wilson Slayers; two daughters, Sharon A. Sharp of Atlanta and Rhonda Fitzpatrick of Somerset; a son, Kevin Saylers of Chicago; a sister, Geneva Stafford of Liberty; two brothers, Darrell Saylers of Junction City and Curtis Saylers of Ohio; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Greg Powell. Burial will be in Salyers Cemetery with military rites by Casey County Funeral Squad.

SPRINGFIELD -- Lillard Smith Jr., 71, of Mackville died Sunday at his home.
Born May 26, 1928, in Washington County, he was a son of and Mary Lee Mattingly Smith of Mackville and the late Lillard Smith. He was a member of Mackville Baptist Church, Magnolia Masonic Lodge 201 F&AM and was affiliated with Armour Food Co., trucking division for over 37 years.
Other survivors include his wife, Jean Hatchett Smith; two daughters, Dawn Pettus of Lexington and Mary Jane Scott of Springfield; three sons, Jim Smith of Mackville, Joe Smith of Harrodsburg and John Smith of Perrysburg, Ohio; two sisters, Helen Isham of Elizabethtown and Betsy Johnson of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mackville Baptist Church by the Rev. David Gifford. Burial will be in Peter Cemetery.

CRAB ORCHARD -- Services for Ulan V. "Dude" Siler, 72, of Waynesburg were held today at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary King. Burial was in Mount Hebron Baptist Church in Waynesburg.
He died Saturday at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.

Born Sept. 10, 1956, in Casey County, he was a son of Adrian and Mabrie Wilson Harrison of Liberty. He was disabled and a member of West Side Christian Church.
Survivors include three sisters, Marlene Wethington, Lisa Wells and Stephanie Lee, all of Liberty; and three brothers, Brent, David and Barry Harrison, all of Liberty.
Services were Saturday at McKinney Brown Funeral Home by Phillip Patton. Burial was in Gum Lick Cemetery.
