MORELAND -- Services for Kimie Renee Bernard, 27, of Danville will be 2 p.m. today at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Norris McCawley. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.
She died Tuesday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.

Christian D. Driesler
MORELAND -- Services for Christian David Driesler, 87, of Stanford will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Junction City, by the Rev. Paul Prabell. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery.
He died Thursday at Charleston Health Care Center.
Born Sept. 18, 1912, in Lin-coln County, he was a son of the late Christian D. and Mary Pfister Driesler. He was a retired telephone lineman and farmer and a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Evadney "Dots" Kellner Driesler; two daughters, Doris Malady of Jefferson, Ind., and Mary Carter of Lancaster; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Carl. E. Driesler.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

STANFORD -- Graveside services for Andrew Jackson Lynn, 66, of McKinney were noon today at Fryes Creek Cemetery, Casey County, by Jim Bland.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Polston Lynn; three sons, C.J. Lynn of McKinney, Jackie Lynn of Danville and Ricky Lynn of Hustonville; three stepsons, David Lynn of Hustonville and Greg and Jamie Lynn, both of McKinney; two daughters, Sheila King of Versailles and Martha Green of Junction City; and several grandchildren.

Kenneth Mize
CRAB ORCHARD -- Services for Kenneth Mize, 71, of Maple Swamp Road, Waynesburg, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home by Cecil Roundtree. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery, Waynesburg.
He died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 22, 1929, in Rockcastle County, he was a son of the late Everett and Etta Savannah Rice Mize.
He was a farmer and a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Broughtontown.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Clark Mize; a stepdaughter, Donna Young of Waynesburg; a stepson, Charles Taylor of Waynesburg; two sisters, Freeba Miracle of Waynesburg and Janice Jessie of Hartwell, Ohio; two brothers, Noah Mize of Lewisport and Edgar Mize of Hartwell; and a step grandson.
Pallbearers will be Merle and Mike Miracle, Jimmy and Gene French, and Keith and Jody Mize.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home.

Eugene Shelton
WAYNESBURG -- Services for Eugene Shelton, 72, of Pleasant Point School Road will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant View Baptist Church by Mike Mullins and Larry Horton. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at his home.
Born May 14, 1927, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Fate and Ettie Phillippe Shelton.
He was a retired farmer, carpenter and a bus driver for the Lincoln County schools.
He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie L. Padgett Shelton; nine sons, Don Leach, Joe Leach, Verlon Shelton, Gary Shelton, Tommy Shelton, David Shelton, Michael Shelton and Bennie Shelton, all of Waynesburg, and Richard Shelton of Ohio; six daughters, Delorise Bunch, Ann Ison, Faye Kidd, Vickie Jones and Susie Manuel, all of Waynesburg, and Fredia Reed of Ohio; four sisters, Velma Adington and Bessie Brown, both of Waynesburg, Sarah Ashley of Eubank and Bea Staton of Kings Mountain; 35 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Barry Leach, Brian, Greg, James and Chris Shelton, Ronnie and Gary Snow, and Daniel Reed.

STANFORD -- Graveside services for Tony Simpson, 68, of Darst Street will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Buffalo Springs Cemetery by Stewart Dawson and Terry Holt.
He died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born June 13, 1931, in Danville, he was a son of the late Tone and Pearl Yates Simpson.
He was retired from Stanford Ready Mix where he worked for 35 years, and had been a stock car race driver.
He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Griffin Simpson; three daughters, Cheryl Naylor, Marcia Smith and Kathy Bourne, all of Stanford; three sisters, Rose Middleton of Stanford, Katherine Hillard of Danville and Louise Smith of Crab Orchard; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Avery.
Honorary pallbearers are James Middleton, Jeff Smith, Dr. Robert Joseph, Dr. Gary Bunch, Dr. Charles Campbell and Dr. Finley Hendrickson.

She was a retired sales clerk of the former Morris Depar-tment Store and a member of Hebron United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, E.C. Baker; a daughter, Ann Barrell of Tavares, Fla.; a stepmother, Martha Messer of Louden, Tenn.; two sisters, Marjorie Scott of Stanford and Shirley Bladen of Louden; two brothers, Levi Messer of Ottenheim and Joe Messer of La Grange, Ga.; and a granddaughter.

MORELAND -- Jesse Earl Crowe, 47, of Stanford died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center of natural causes.
Born May 15, 1952, in Lincoln County, he was a son of Laura Belle Griffin of Moreland and the late Willie E. Crowe. He was a mechanic.
Survivors include five sisters, Bonnie Singleton of Danville, Juanita Lay of Dayton, Ohio, Connie Johnson of Parksville, and Evelyn Rousey and Shirley Martin, both of Hustonville.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Norris McCawley. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.

She died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born June 19, 1910, in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Sherman and Mary Elizabeth Johnson. She was housekeeper and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Johnny Johnson of Lexington. She was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin Griffin.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Huston Jr, and deacons of First Baptist Church.
Visitation is noon until time of service Friday at the church.
