Services for Anne Owings Penn Edwards, 86, of South Fourth Street were held today at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. William H. Likins. Burial was in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
She died Saturday at her home.
She was a graduate of Wilmore High School.

LIBERTY -- Services for Margureite Davis, 66, of Lower Brush Creek Road will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Arvil Allen and David Calhoun. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery.
She died Sunday at Casey County Hospital.
Born Aug. 16, 1933, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Sally Bryant Vaught. She was a retail clerk at King's Department Store for 38 years and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Davis; a daughter, Susan Helm of Liberty; two sons, Steven Davis of Versailles and John Davis of Liberty; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.

Sterlin Sims
HARRODSBURG -- Services for Sterlin C. Sims, 89, of Louisville, formerly of Mercer County, will be 2 p.m. today at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert DeFoor. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
He died Sunday at Norton Suburban Hospital, Louisville.
Born Dec. 23, 1910, in Mercer County, he was a son of the late Fred and Willie Cloyd Sims. He was a retired tool and die maker and a member of Burgin Christian Church. He was the widower of Pauline Sanders Sims.
Survivors include three sisters, Arley Neblock of Illinois, Helen Wise of Louisville and Ophelia Sims of Lexington.
Pallbearers will be Fred, Bob and Buck VanArsdall, Curtis Bailey, Lloyd Pickett and A.T. Dean Jr.
Memorials may go to Burgin Christian Church Scholarship Fund.

Preston L. Alcorn
Services for Preston L. Alcorn, 82, of Boneyville Road, Lincoln County, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert Coulter Jr. Burial will be in Milton Simpson Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at Central Bap-tist Hospital in Lexington.
Born Jan. 12, 1919, in Lincoln Coun-ty, he was a son of the late James and Molly Alcorn. He was a farmer and a member of Boneyville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lula Mae Alcorn; two daughters, Patricia Suter of Stanford and Priscilla Brown of Lexington; two brothers, Raymond Alcorn of Cincinnati and Cecil Alcorn of Lancaster; three sisters, Dorothy Brown of Stanford, and Bettie Mason and Janet Woods, both of Cincinnati; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Alcorn.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Brown Jr., Julian, Lorenzo and Clifton Suter, Steve and Anthony Alcorn. Honorary pallbearers are John T. Gooch, Theodore Simpson, Charley Logan and James Gooch.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the church.

She died Thursday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born April 30 , 1915, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Eva Marie Carrier Lewis. She was a homemaker, a member of Church of Christ and the widow of Willie R. Denham.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Denham of Lakewood, Fla., and Jim Denham of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter, Diane Denham of Danville; two brothers, Bill and Paul Lewis, both of Stanford; two sisters, Katherine Meece of Somerset and Ruth Neussee of Cincinnati; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Orlis and John Sparkman, David Milburn, Kenneth Griffin, and Raymond, Roger and David Lewis.

Born May 13, 1915, in Perryville, she was a daughter of the late Allen T. and Mary Ann Reardon Lee.
She was an employee of Lorillard Tobacco Co. in Louisville 46 years and the widow of Louis Dailey.

LANCASTER -- Services for Mary Lou Rankin, 51, of Grass Valley, Calif., will be 2 p.m. Monday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Bobby Brooks. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
She died Tuesday at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Born Dec. 7, 1948, in Stanford, she was a daughter of Nannie Scott Rankin Duncan of Lancaster and the late James H. Rankin. She was a graduate of Crab Orchard High School and Morehead State University. She was a member of Drakes Creek Baptist Church and an office manager and former co-owner of SPD Saw Shop in Grass Valley. She was the widow of Craig Brown.
Survivors include a son, Harley Brown of Grass Valley; and a brother, James Rankin of Stanford.
Pallbearers will be Michael Rankin, Bobby Baker, Willis Sparks, Harvey Howard, James Spurlin and J.T. Watts. Honorary pallbearers are Carl Thompson, Virginia Stump, Vicky Scott, Diana Messer and Donna Estep.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Polson; three sons, Jeff Hoover of Junction City, Ricky Hoover of Danville and Jim Hoover of Moreland; a daughter, Teresa McCool of Indianapolis; a brother, Jessie DeBoard of Indianapolis; four sisters, Imogene Alexander of Brownsburg, Ind., Ruby Silvers of Bedford, Ind., Pauline Rainwater of Lawrence, Ind., and Stella Pence of Eubank; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Hoover.
