Thelma Marie Bostrom
Thelma Marie Bostrom, 79 of Elizabethtown, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at Woodland Terrace Health Care Facility. She was a native of Cleveland County, NC and was a member of the Eastern Star in Florida. She was a retired bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Bostrom; her parents, Roy Ivy and Mattie Weaver Grigg; a son, James Ira Milling and two brothers, Buford Grigg and Gene Grigg. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Adams of Elizabethtown and Penni Bostrom of Orlando, FL; two sons, Rick Milling of Panama City, FL and Chuck (Debbie) Milling of Guston; one brother, Gerald Grigg of Florida; one sister, Virginia Seufert of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Stephen Adams, Melissa Stiff, Brian Milling and Marcus Milling and six great grandchildren, Destiny Jo Adams, Charly Adams, Travis Adams, Trevor Adams, Lilly Stiff and Levi Stiff. Services will be held at a later date. Brown Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.
Evelyn Lucille Harmon
Evelyn Lucille Harmon, 86, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Martin County and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she also belonged to the Mt. Zion Sisters Gloria Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Harmon, her parents Jess and Sadie Romans Coleman, 2 brothers, Jess Coleman, Jr. and Donald Coleman and one sister, Virginia Blevins. She is survived by four daughters, Lois (John) Cassady of Bainbridge, Ohio, Emma S. Butler of Louisville, Margaret (Lonnie) Them of Mansfield, Ohio and Janet (Jim) Day of Columbus, Ohio, one son, Rocky Lee (Teresa) Harmon of Elizabethtown, two brothers, Bennie Coleman of Columbus, Ohio and Elmer Coleman of Galena, Ohio, one sister, Mary Louise (Merle) Stepp of Ocala, FL, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and her special friends, Edie and Ed Farmer. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Chambers officiating. Burial will be in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home.
Robert Earl Bradley
Robert Earl Bradley, 65 of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at his residence. He was a native of McKessport, PA, served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post #113. He worked at UPS for 3 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson David Bradley, Sr. and Leola Hazel Melton Bradley. He is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Timmy) Pierce of Charleroi, PA and Tricia Timko of Roscoe, PA; one brother, Jeff (Trudy) Bradley of Elizabethtown and several grandchildren. A Graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Kentucky Veterans cemetery Central with Chaplain Otto Ballou officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home.
Alicia Lynette Enos
Alicia Lynette Hornback Enos, 51, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, December 4, 2009 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Hardin County and worked for GTE for 17 years. She was a substitute teacher for Hardin County Schools for two years and was an incredible artist and she loved to sew. She is survived by her mother, June Hornback of Elizabethtown, her father, LaMont Hornback of Elizabethtown, one son, David Adam Enos of Washington state, one sister, Holly Stapleton (Greg) of Elizabethtown and her fiancee, David Pulley of Elizabethtown. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. B. T. Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Sonora cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and after Noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
Lucille Wright
D. Lucille Wright, 79, formerly of Owensboro and Elizabethtown, left her son's home on Monday, December 21, 2009 to spend Christmas with Jesus. Lucille was born August 18, 1930 to the late Rev. Nobel and Lillie Cottrell. Lucille worked tirelessly as a cashier for Kroger until the late 1960's when she earned her Masters Degree in Nursing. She continued her relentless work ethic at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Mercy Hospital, Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital and the Green River District Health Department before retiring. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Owensboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyce Bruce Wright, Sr. and a son-in-law, Mickey Ragland. She is survived by three children, Bruce (Kim) Wright, Jr. of Beaver Dam, Renee Wright Ragland of White Mills and Sharleen (Tommy) Schwartz of Owensboro, grandchildren, Aaron (Cindy) Ragland, Jessica Ragland (Chris) Lowe, John Schwartz, Joel Wright, Joseph Wright, Jacob Wright, Joshua Wright, Jonathan Wright and five great grandchildren, Austin, Carter, Ella Grace, Cassidy and James Robert. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Faulls officiating. Burial will follow at Leesville cemetery in Upton. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of Contributions to Hospice of Ohio County.
Laura Jane Moser
Laura Jane Moser, 88 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, December 21, 2009 at her home. She was a native of Hardin County and a retired Chief Post Clerk for the Kentucky State Police Post 4. She was a member of the First Christian Church and also attended White Mills Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Moser; her parents, Mae and Russell Terry of White Mills and two brothers, Howard Terry and John Terry. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Bland and her husband Steve of Cecilia; her son, Terry and his wife Edith of Port Orange, FL; a grandson, Kelly Bland of Cecilia; a sister, June Rae Aubrey of White Mills; a special niece, Laura Jo Nall, as well as several other nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:30 to 5 p.m. and continue on Saturday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
Lynn Donald Jolly
Lynn Donald Jolly, 79 of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Green County and was a retired tree trimmer and farmer. He was a former tobacco grader. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Asbury Jolly; his parents, Cecil Herbert and Octavia Slinker Jolly; one daugher, Ronda Emery; two brothers, Ray Jolly and Dennis Jolly and a great grandchild, Andrea Borders. He is survived by one son, Anthony (Cheryl) Jolly of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Susan (Wayne) Borders and Barbara (Mark) Williams all of Elizabethtown; one brother, Wendell Jolly of Sonora; three sisters, Maple Jaggers of St. Cloud, FL, Donnie Harper of Bonnieville and Janet Jolly of Sonora; ten grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and his extended family Edith, Steve, Laura, Robin and Shannon Graham and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Austin and Rev. Kevin Stamps officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury cemetery in Green County. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Anna Mae Logsdon Dever, 90 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, December 21, 2009 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of Valley Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Leon Logsdon and Roy Kenneth Dever; a son, Galen Logsdon; her parents, Harley and Geneva Nall Irwin and a brother, Lloyd Cecil Irwin. She is survived by one son, David (Valerie) Logsdon of Cecilia; two step sons, Gary Bruce Dever and Bobby Lewis (Fonda) Dever all of Elizabethtown; one sister, Mary Agnes Bennett of Louisville; three grandchildren, Michael Logsdon and Lisa (Joe) Simoneit all of Elizabethtown and Eric Wood of Hamilton, OH; two great grandchildren, David and Joey Simoneit; two step grandchildren, Jason (Leigh) Dever of Virginia and Lesley (Chris) McConn of Elizabethtown and two step great grandchildren, Dillon and Jessamine. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Kerr officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Doris Ann Yancey
Doris Ann Yancey, 73 of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Tell City, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Spencer Yancey; her parents, Ernest and Barbara Wolf; one brother and two sisters. She is survived by three sons, Michael G. (Cheryl) Yancey of Jacksonville, AL, Richard L. (Lucille) Yancey and Bruce A. (Sherri) Yancey all of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Barbara Ann Steier of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren, Jennifer Ann Steier, Tyler Steier, Rachel B. Yancey, Jordan Yancey and Christopher Yancey; three step grandchildren, Tony Torgersen, Tonya Torgersen and Tracie Huckleby and two step great grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
