HARRODSBURG -- Services for Hollie C. Demaree, 85, of Greenwood Drive, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert DeFoor. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
He died Monday at his home.
Born July 26, 1914, in Mercer County, he was a son of the late Kavanaugh and Mattie Southerland Demaree. He was a funeral director with Ransdell Funeral Chapel for 33 years and a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church where he was a deacon and former treasurer, Sunday school teacher and superintendent for several years. He was a member of the American Legion, Mercer Lodge 777 F&Am, Harrodsburg Lions Club and a life member of Disabled American Veterans. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Lottie B. Shirley Demaree; a son, Glendon C. Demaree of Anderson County; a brother, Clifton Demaree of Louisville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Annes, Dr. Charles Hatcher, Brennon Royalty, Skeeter Reed, Rags Gritton and Harold Southerland. Honorary pallbearers are deacons of Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials may go to Harrodsburg Baptist Church Building Fund.

Alaina A. Hamilton
WAYNESBURG-- Graveside services for Alaina Ann Hamilton, newborn daughter of Gerald and Sarah Melton Hamilton of Mason, Ohio, were held today at Pilot Cemetery by Gerald Carter.
She died Sunday at Bethesda Hospital North, Mason, Ohio.
Other survivors include paternal grandparents, Gerald C. and Jane Mullins Hamilton of Mason; maternal grandparents, James P. and Eldred Melton of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and great-grandmothers, Bur-lie Mullins of Eubank and Mertie Hamilton of Mount Olive.

Billie Anne Hembree
HARRODSBURG -- Ser-vices for Billie Anne Hembree, 66, of Riverside Drive will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Sam Stow. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
She died Tuesday at her home of natural causes.
Born Oct. 22, 1933, in Bell County, she was a daughter of the late Bill and Katie Hill Shepard. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Roy O. Hembree; a daughter, Patricia Anne Gaudinier of Harrodsburg; a sister, Nicki Miller of Illinois; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today.

Mary B. Rogers
HARRODSBURG-- Services for Mary Bell Rogers, 75, of Nicholasville, formerly of Harrodsburg, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Bobby Sageser. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
She died Monday at St. Joseph Hospital.
Born March 5, 1924, in Harrodsburg, she was a daughter of the late Cleve and Nancy Click Cummins. She was a housekeeper for Harrodsburg Health Care Manor and a member of Penn Avenue Baptist Church in Georgetown.
Survivors include three sons, William L. Rogers of Harrods-burg, Danny D. Rogers of Lexington and Owen D. Rogers of Nicholasville; a sister, Abbie Cummins of Harrodsburg; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy D. Kelly, and a grandson.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Thursday.

Roy P. Skeen
STANFORD -- Services for Roy P. Skeen, 92, of Waynesburg will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Spurlin Funeral Home by Cecil Roundtree. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
He died Monday at Fort Logan Hospital.
Born Sept. 15, 1907, in Bourbon County, he was a son of the late Howard and Florence Bailey Skeen. He was a retired American Standard employee, a veteran of World War II, and a member of Little Rock Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Ernst Skeen.

Gertrude K. Peyton
Gertrude King Peyton, 82, of Old Highway 127, Junction City, died Saturday at Hospice Care Center, Lexington.
Born March 20, 1917, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Monnie Murphy King. She was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God and was a homemaker. She was the widow of Fred Thomas Peyton.
Survivors are three sons, Bennie D. Peyton of Danville, Tony Peyton of Lincoln County and Thomas "Peter" Peyton of Stanford; three daughters, Mossie Marshall of Stanford, and Lillian Turner and Demple Potts, both of Danville; seven brothers, Thomas King of Georgetown, Bearl King of Liberty, Darryl King and J.C. King, both of Stanford, and Loyal, Lilburn and Noble King, all of Junction City; and two sisters, Dicie King of Fort Edward, N.Y., and Aline Coontz of Junction City; 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cornerstone Assembly of God by the Rev. Tom Lane. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.

HARRODSBURG -- Ava "Pat" Bonta, 85, of Frankfort, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Saturday at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center, Frankfort.
Born Feb. 9, 1914, in Mercer County, she was daughter of the late Joseph and Addie Leonard Patterson. She was a former director of studio sales for the southeastern United States for Olan Mills. She was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Charles W. Bonta III of Frankfort; a daughter, Pamela Magnus of Louisville; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Revs. Robert Defoor and John Chenault. Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery.

LANCASTER -- Paul Clark, 76, of Crab Orchard Street died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born June 14, 1923, in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Lin and Anna Clark. He was a farmer and former owner of Clark and Teater Poolroom. He was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Ballard Clark; a son, Paul D. Clark of Lancaster; a sister, Betty Teater of Lancaster; and a grandchild.

HARRODSBURG -- David E. Darnall, 75, of Salvisa died Saturday at his home.
Born Oct. 5, 1924, in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Paul and Leila Huntsberry Darnall. He was a retired Kentucky State Police dispatcher and a member of the Presbyterian Church, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Bunton Darnall; two sons, Calvin L. and David T. Darnall, both of Mercer County; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters; five step grandchildren; and eight step great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Morrison and Jason Moats. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery with military rites.

LANCASTER -- Curtis Gene McGlone, 53, of Lancaster died Saturday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 30, 1946, in Grayson, he was a son of the late James and Erie Pauline Messer McGlone. He was a boilermaker and a member of New Antioch Christian Church and Boilermakers Union Local 667.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Robertson McGlone; a son, Brandon McGlone of Lancaster; a daughter, Tina Carper of Grayson; three brothers, Howard McGlone of Cartersville, Ga., Herman McGlone and James McGlone, both of Grayson; four sisters, Della Burchett, Christine Baier and Maxine Montgomery, all of Grayson, and Alma Mayo of Enterprise, Ala.; and two grandchildren.
