Norma J. Sinkhorn
Norma Joyce Sinkhorn, 64, of White Oak Road, Junction City, died Saturday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born Oct. 14, 1936, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of Ola Mae Clem Sinkhorn of Junction City and the late Robert E. Sinkhorn. She was a waitress at Town House Restaurant and a member of Alum Springs First Church of God.
Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Moran of Stanford; three sons, Barry W. and Darrin R. Sinkhorn, both of Junction City, and Steve T. Sinkhorn of Danville; five brothers, Jerry, Michael and Bobby Sinkhorn, all of Junction City, Gary Sinkhorn of Parksville and Orville Sinkhorn of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Linda Hogue and Brenda Gwinn, both of Junction City; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger A. Sinkhorn.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Don Drake. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chad, Lee, Daniel, Shawn, Derick and Mike Sinkhorn II.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.

John A. Wofford
John A. Wofford, 91, of Springhill Road died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born April 23, 1909, in Oakdale, Tenn., he was the son of the late John Y. and Nell Justus Wofford. He was a retired bookkeeper for Mercer Motors in Harrodsburg, a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and an Army veteran of World War II. He was the widower of Aileen Denton Wofford.
Survivors include a brother, Leonard Wofford of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two sisters, Margaret Williams and Ruth Wofford, both of Danville.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Don Benningfield. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Buddy, Ken and Stephen Williams, Chris Adams, Evan Seagraves, Eddie Woods and Tim Tinley.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may go to Centenary United Methodist Church building fund.

LANCASTER -- Maude Jacobson, 89, of Danville Street died Sunday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital. She was the mother of Robert Jacobson of Lancaster. Arrangements are incomplete at Spurlin Funeral Home.
W. Thomas Murphy
OCALA, Fla. -- W. Thomas Murphy, 89, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Danville, died March 1 at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired general manager for Reverie Knoll Farm and a member of First United Methodist Church and the Farm Managers Club.
Survivors include two sons, Tom Murphy Jr. and Maurice Murphy, both of Ocala; a brother, Joe H. Murphy of Lexington; and two grandchildren.
Services were Sunday at Heirs Funeral Home. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Ocala.

Ethel F. Sutton
LANCASTER -- Ethel Mae Foley Sutton, 87, of Ledford Lane died Sunday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital.
Born July 6, 1913, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late S.R. and Sara McHargue Foley. She was a retired employee of Cowden Manufacturing Co. and a member of Lancaster Baptist Church, the former Owens Chapel homemakers Club, Lancaster Art Club and Garrard County Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Sutton; two sons, Ted Sutton of Danville and Russell Sutton of Seneca, S.C.; three sisters, Leora Prewitt and Inis Jewell Carter, both of Somerset, and Mary Ruth Broaddus of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Abby Elizabeth Sutton.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Revs. Barry Jefferies and Zora Oliver. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eugene and Cron Broaddus; David Godby; Gary, Darwin and Earl E. Foley; Ron Sutton and Billy Joe Osborne.
Honorary pallbearers are Bill and Terry Broaddus and Mac Godby.

Virginia L. Vandivier
HARRODSBURG -- Virginia Leonard Vandivier, 79, of Johnson Road died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born June 1, 1921, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Ansel and Ethel Carey Leonard. She was an employee of Gem Drug Store and a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School for many years at Harrodsburg Baptist Church and Bruners Chapel. She was the widow of Loyd Vandivier.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Dan Vandivier of Louisville; a daughter, Gayle Horn of Mercer County; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve and Chris Horn, Ben and Lauren Vandivier, Ronnie Sims and Billy Simpson.
Honorary pallbearers are Joe Ruby, Jimmy and Gerald Carter, Don Horn, and Joe and Kenneth Davis.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today and after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

PERRYVILLE -- Services for Elwood "Pooky" Sleet, 73, of West Fourth Street, Perryville, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. Willie Newby. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
He died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Pallbearers will be William Hagan, Sammy and Raymond Johnson, Dennis Whitehouse, William Sleet and Charles Young.

David B. Kuhns
Dr. David Bruce Kuhns, 52, of Norman's Camp Road, Burgin, died Wednesday at his residence.
Born April 10, 1948, in Uniontown, Pa., he was the son of the late William Joshea and Isabel Edith Hudson Kuhns.
He was owner of Kuhns Chiropractic in Danville, an Army veteran, a 1973 graduate of Penn State University, and a 1977 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He played the bass guitar and was a member of several bands in Lexington.
Survivors include a sister, Judith Kuhns Jackson of Bowie, Md.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Caroline Bloomfield.
Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice or a favorite charity.

Lucy C. Sheets
DAYTON, Ohio -- Lucy Chastine Conn Sheets, 84, died Feb. 22 in Dayton.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late James and Lucy Conn. She was a veteran of the Woman's Army Corps and retired from Elder-Beerman after 22 years as a sales auditor.
Survivors include her husband, John William Sheets of Dayton; two sons, Mark and Christopher Sheets, both of Dayton; two daughters, Mary Atsina of Colorado and Amy Gray of Dayton; two brothers, Claude Conn of Illinois and Jonas Conn of New Carlisle, Ohio; four sisters, Freida Barnes of Lancaster, Edith Sparks of New York, Stella Alaimo of Pennsylvania and Miller Underwood of Danville; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Michael Sheets.
Services were Monday at Harris Funeral Home in Dayton. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio.

Elwood Sleet
PERRYVILLE -- Elwood "Pooky" Sleet, 73, of West Fourth Street, Perryville, died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born Dec. 8, 1927, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late William and Almeda Violet Sleet.
He was a retired auto mechanic, having worked for Don Leonard and Whitehouse Auto Parts in Perryville.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Perryville and was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Spalding Sleet; four daughters, Mary Edith Lowe of Junction City, Kansas, Anna Michelle Keene of Springfield, and Mona Lisa Sleet and Alice Louise Sleet, both of Perryville; two sons, Donald Lee Sleet of Perryville and William Lewis Sleet of Casey County; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. Willie Newby.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Perryville.

Oscar Gibson
PERRYVILLE -- Services for Oscar Gibson, 73, of Ormond Beach, Fla., formerly of Perryville, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. Guy McCombs. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
He died Thursday at home.
Born May 24, 1927, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Everett and Ethel Carpenter Gibson. He was a retired car salesman and real estate salesman in Daytona Beach, Fla., and a member of Perryville Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a 50-year member of Harvey MaGuire Lodge No. 209 F&AM, and a member of Oleika Shrine Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Marian Harmon Gibson of Ormond Beach.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Mike, Johnny and Kenny Harmon and Jerry, Mike and Harold Gibson.
