HARRODSBURG -- Services for Virgil Camden Prewitt, 75, of 795 Cane Run Street will be 2:30 p.m. today at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Richard Easterling.
He died Thursday at his residence.
Born April 3, 1925, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Gilford and Emma Weldon Prewitt. He worked as a meat cutter for Mark's Meats and was an Army Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Prewitt of Harrodsburg; a son, Ron Prewitt of Cincinnati, Ohio; two daughters, Patricia Sanders of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Rita Marland of Somerset; two brothers, Jim Prewitt of Louisville and Bill Prewitt of Corinth; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

LEXINGTON -- Arnold E. Abercombie, 81, of Lexington died Thursday.
Born in Falmouth, he was a son of Everett Abercombie and Nell Arnold Rieveschl. He was an employee of Thoroughbred Press. He was a graduate of Kentucky School for the Deaf and a member of Rosemont Baptist Church. He also was a member of Kentucky Association for the Deaf, National Fraternal Society for the Deaf, Lexington Deaf Senior Citizens and Louisville Silent Seniors. He was a Red Cross volunteer and a charter member or KSD's Hall of Fame. He was the widower of Helen Ruth Abercombie.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Robinson of Southern Pines, N.C., June Hampton and Janice Sutton, both of Lexington; a brother, Paul Abercombie of Lexington; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at W.R. Milward Mortuary-Southland by the Rev. Patrick Rase. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation is 7-9 p.m. today.

LUDLOW -- Delsie Preston Craig, 85, of Ludlow died Wednesday at Villa Springs in Erlanger.
She was a retired employee of Fletchhiemer's Uniform Co., and a member of Ludlow First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice L. Nutini of Villa Hills; a son, Gene Craig of Reston, Va.; a sister, Thelma Vaught of Junction City; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

LIBERTY -- Eddy Arnold Durham, 52, of Henson Creek Road died Wednesday at home.
Born April 18, 1948, in Whitley County, he was a son of Bee Bee Durham of Liberty and the late Charles Durham. He was a machinist and a farmer.
Other survivors include two brothers, Troy Duncan of Michigan, and Charles Durham of Liberty; four sisters, Nona Lathan of Windsor, Norma Durham of White Lilly, Rosemary Durham of Somerset and Judy Cupp of Jellico, Tenn.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Clifford Dehart. Burial will be in Canadatown Cemetery, Whitley County.

CAMPBELLSVILLE -- Jim Eskridge, 40, of Alum Springs Road, formerly of Campbellsville, died Wednesday in Danville.
Born Dec. 2, 1960, in Mineral Wells, Texas, he was a son of James Eskridge of Chicago, Ill., and Joy Miller Eskridge of Campbellsville. He was an employee of Danville Acoustics and a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Jordan Eskridge of Danville; a sister, Tammy Harding of Campbellsville and Lanny Eskridge of Preston Springs; and his grandmother, Mary Miller of Campbellsville.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. David Walters. Burial will be in Mount Washington Cemetery.

Graveside services for Ina M. Norvell, 95, of Frankfort, formerly of Perryville, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Cemetery by the Rev. Ron Holman.
She died Thursday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 28, 1905, in Washington County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Betty Bottom Milton. She was a former clerk for Conn's Jewelry Store and the Hub Frankel department store. She was a member of the Sam's Club at Perryville Baptist Church, and the widower of Robert A. Powers and Alfey Norvell.
Survivors include a nephew, John Milton of Harrodsburg; a caregiver, Debbie Starks of Frankfort; two great-great-granddaughters; and a great-great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jerry Harlow; and three grandsons.
Pallbearers will be John Milton, Jack Shepherd, Russell Wilfong and Armond Bottom.

Charles W. Roller
PASADENA, Texas -- Charles W. "Bill" Roller, 68, of Pasadena died Monday.
Born April 34, 1932, in Parksville, he was a son of the late Martin L. and Leora F. Roller. He was a retired funeral director and embalmer for Pasadena Funeral Home.
He had been a sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 521, American Diabetes Association and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a former sergeant of the Harris County Constable Office, former officer of the Pasadena Police Department and attended Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include a daughter, Tayce D. Roller of Elk Grove, Calif.; and three uncles, Tom Roller, Buck Roller and J.D. Chambers, all of Danville. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven A. Roller.
Services were today at Pasadena Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Forest Park East Cemetery.
