WAYNESBURG -- Ada Christine Salyers, 82, of Ragged Ridge Road died Wednesday at Liberty Care Center.
Born Dec. 29, 1918, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Nancy E. Emerson Salyers.
Survivors include two sisters, Gertrude Bastin and Leona Carman, both of Waynesburg.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home by Greg Powell. Burial will be in Salyers Cemetery.

Michael Bachelor
Services for Michael Bachelor, 54, of Burton Circle will be 11 a.m. Friday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Ray Vancamp. Burial with military rites will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Doris R. Mountjoy
Memorial services for Doris Rose Mountjoy, 78, formerly of Midland Place, will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church by Caroline Bloomfield.
She died Tuesday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born Oct. 23, 1922, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest A. and Rose Ford Ray Chrisman. She was a retired Lincoln County High School teacher and a member of First Christian Church and Retired Teachers Association. She received her master's degree from University of Kentucky and was the widow of Thomas R. Mountjoy.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Mountjoy of Junction City and Shawn Mountjoy of Danville; a daughter, Rose Lynn Campbell of Batesville, Ind.; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas R. Mountjoy II.
Honorary pallbearers are members of Fireside Sunday School class, teachers in the Stanford and Lincoln County school systems, Mary Ann Burke and Doris Ann Biles.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the home of Shawn Mountjoy, 700 East Drive, and after noon Friday at First Christian Church.
Memorials may go to First Christian Church building fund or Danville-Boyle County EMS.

Kyle Schultz
Services for Kyle Joseph Schultz, 16, of Brookview Place will be 11 a.m. Friday at The Presbyterian Church by the Revs. Thomas K. Farmer and Kyle Hite.
He died Tuesday.
Born May 24, 1984, in Minneapolis, Minn., he was a son of Joseph W. and Zora E. Zimmerman Schultz. He was a junior at Boyle County High School where he was active in the 4-H Teen Club and the Global Club. He also was vice president of the Venturing Group of Boy Scouts of America. He attended Life Adventure Camp and was a member of The Presbyterian Church and the church youth group.
Other survivors include his sister, Stacie Schultz of Danville; and his grandmother, Beulah Zimmerman of Rochester, Minn.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at The Presbyterian Church.

LANCASTER -- Services for Ruth Doty Wright, 88, of Lynnwood Drive will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. William Morrow. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Born Feb. 9, 1913, in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late A.B. and Mattie F. Arnold Doty. She was a homemaker, a member of the Golden Age Club, the Support Group, and AARP. She was the widow of William Burdette Wright.
Survivors include a brother, John Doty of Paint Lick; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Eudaly of Indianapolis.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Arnold, Bud Mulcahy, Beverly Miller, James Henderson, George Ralph Arnold and Cecil Arnold.

Michael Bachelor, 54, of Burton Circle died Tuesday at Hospice Care Center in Lexington.
Born July 6, 1946, in Cincinnati, he was a son of the late Marvin M. and Jessie M. McFarland Bachelor. He was owner of Decorum and Wallpaper for Less, an Army veteran of Vietnam, and recipient of a Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Cutter Bachelor; two sons, Scott Bachelor of Lexington and Brian Bachelor of Fairfax, Va.; a sister, Betty Gross of Cincinnati; a brother, Charles Stewart of Groves Point, Va.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Ray Vancamp. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military rites.

BATAVIA, Ohio -- Odes Bastin died Sunday at Locust Ridge Nursing Home.
Born in Casey County, he was a retired educator and a veteran of World War II, having served as an Army medic in North Africa, Italy and the Philippines. He had been a teacher, basketball coach and principal.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Bastin; three sons, Dexter Bastin of Williamsburg, Ohio, Wayne Bastin of Mount Carmel, Ohio, and Marvin Bolender of Burlington, Mass.; five brothers, Janus Bastin of Danville, Robert and Leon Bastin, both of Apopka, Fla., and Norman and Cecil Bastin, both of Florence, Ind.; three sisters, Buleah Spears of Rising Sun, Ind., Marie Salyers of Austin, Ind., and Lillian Bryant of Liberty; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Williamsburg United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Williamsburg Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the church.
