MURRAY -- J.W. Wilham, 78, of Murray died Sunday at Calloway County Hospital.
Born June 28, 1922, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late John and Amanda Brown Wilham. He was a retired owner of Kenlake Marine and a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jayne Wilham; two daughters, Sharon Patterson and Kimberly Weatherly, both of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, John E. Wilham of Paducah; and five grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home by the Rev. Jim Simmons. Entombment was in Murray City Mausoleum.

CINCINNATI -- Services for Elizabeth Trumbo Bottom, 80, of Cincinnati, Ohio, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Friendship Baptist Church, Cincinnati. Burial will be in Cincinnati.
She died Monday at Victory Park Nursing Home.

Blondella Harmon
HARRODSBURG -- Services for Blondella Harmon, 73, of Cornishville Road will be 2 p.m. Friday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Paul Readnour. Burial will be in Cornishville Baptist Church Cemetery.
She died Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born Feb. 16, 1928, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Lizzie M. Robinson Cornish. She was an employee of the Mercer County school system and a member of Cornishville Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School secretary and assistant treasurer for many years. She was the widow of Marshall D. Harmon.
Survivors include a son, Doug H. Harmon of Cornishville; a brother, Royce Cornish of Cornishville; a sister, Christine Young of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Harmon; and a daughter, Elizabeth Harmon.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Friday.

STANFORD -- Services for Agnes Leach Stearns, 85, of Cincinnati, formerly of Kings Mountain, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home by John Dean. Burial will be in K.P. Hall Cemetery.
She died Wednesday in Cincinnati.
Born Jan. 20, 1916, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Forch and Lela M. Frederick Leach. She was a homemaker, a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church and the widow of Charles Stearns.
Survivors include two sisters, Hazel Pelsor and Minnie Leach, both of Cincinnati.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Friday.

Marguerite W. Whittaker
LANCASTER -- Services for Marguerite Walker Whittaker, 79, of Hill Court will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Revs. Jim Cook and William J. Arvin. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
She died Wednesday at Central Baptist Hospital.
Born Jan. 2, 1922, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Printus and Leila Ray Walker.
She was owner and publisher of The Central Record newspaper and a member of Lancaster City Council.
She also was a retired teacher, having taught for 38 years at Mount Hebron, Buckeye and Camp Dick Robinson schools. She was the widow of James R. Whittaker.
Survivors include three nephews, David Cox and Jim Cox, both of Lancaster, and Bradley Cox of Charlottesville, Va.; and three nieces, Patsy Robinson of Simpsonville and Ann Robinson and Evelyn Guthrie, both of Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers will be Danny Irvin, David Simpson, Harold Simpson, William Wesley, Billy Moss, Gene Hampton, Mike Stevens and Stuart Powell.
Honorary pallbearers are employees of The Central Record, Lonnie Napier, Danny Elam and J.W. Marsee.

Robert H. Helmling
ELYRIA, Ohio -- Robert H. Helmling, 76, of Wellington, Ohio, died Sunday.
Born in 1924 in Elyria, he was the son of the late John and Hazel Lybarger Helmling. He was an employee of Bendix-Westinghouse Co., a self-employed painter, and was retired from General Motors Co. He had served in the Navy during World War II aboard the USS Arkansas. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the USS Arkansas Battleship Association, King Solomon Lodge 56 and Freewill Baptist Church of Wellington.
Survivors include his wife, Faith F. Adam Helmling; two daughters, Polly Dubens of Wellington and Linda Erwin of Danville; a sister, Doris Rhodehamel of Elyria; a brother, Albert Helmling of Escalon, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by a son, Chuck Helmling.
Services will be noon Thursday at Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Billy Joe White. Burial will be in RidgeHill Memorial Park.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Busch Curtis Scheuffler Family Chapel and 10 a.m. Thursday until time of service at the church.

Emma Lois Gerlach Kirkland, 83, formerly of Smith Street, died Monday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born Sept. 28, 1917, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Richard C. and Bertha Foust Gerlach. She was a retired manager of the former Gem Drug Store, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a former member of Business and Professional Women. She was the widow of Leo Kirkland.
Survivors include a sister, Jackie G. Cox of Danville; and a brother, Sam Gerlach of Highland. She was preceded in death by a son, Ernest L. Kirkland.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by Odis Clark. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
