HARRODSBURG -- Ethel Bugg Watkins, 79, of Ada Drive died Wednesday at her home.
Born Dec. 19, 1921, in Harrodsburg, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Pearl Lester Tatum. She was a retired inspector for Corning Glass, a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church and the widow of William Watkins.
Survivors include a son, Ray Bugg of Harrodsburg; and a brother, Elmer Tatum of Danville.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. James Harley. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bugg, Jack Pearson, Clifford Long, Toy Tatum, Donnie Tatum and Vernon Tatum.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today and after 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials may go to the Mercer County Humane Society.

Fredia Conley Wayne, 72, of Harrodsburg, formerly of Danville, died Thursday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Services for Carrie Bell Daugherty Potter, 80, of Baughman Avenue will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church by the Rev. Tommy Valentine. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
She died Wednesday at Samaritan Hospital, Lexington.

STANFORD -- Services for Harold Lucas Smith, 73, of Ky. 698 will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Redemption Road Church by Gary Yocom and Terry Lawwill. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18, American Legion.
He died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lexington.
He was a son of the late Carroll and Lizzie Lucas Smith.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Maples, Jackie Owens, Larry Moore, Robbie Todd, David Smith, Larry Privett, Kenneth Swan and Shelba Moore.

Carrie D. Potter
Carrie Bell Daugherty Potter, 80, of Baughman Avenue died Wednesday at Samaritan Hospital, Lexington.
Born June 1, 1920, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Jerry S. and Hettie A. White Daugherty. She was a homemaker, a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church, and treasurer of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was a 1938 graduate of Danville High School, a member of the Retired and Veteran Railway Club, and the widow of Thomas W. Potter.
Survivors include four daughters, Elizabeth Bibb, Nancy Riley and Barbara Arnold, all of Danville, and Brenda Gipson of Junction City; a brother, Jerry Daugherty Jr. of Danville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Sara Kate Stomberger
Sarah Kate Stomberger, daughter of John D. and Shawna M. Horn Stomberger of Bluegrass Pike, was stillborn Jan. 22 at Central Baptist Hospital. A triplet, she is survived by her brothers, Jack Irwin and Seth Harold Stomberger.
Other survivors include her grandparents, Shirley Horn of Danville, and Dennis and Janet Stomberger of Louisville; and great-grandparents, Henry and Alma Black of Harrodsburg, Mary Irwin of Louisville, and John and Doris Stomberger of Louisville.
A private service will be held.

Harold L. Smith
STANFORD -- Harold Lucas Smith, 73, of Ky. 698 died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lexington.
Born Feb. 28, 1927, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Carroll and Lizzie Lucas Smith. He was an electrician, a member of Redemption Road Church and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Lexington Gem and Mineral Club, a Kentucky Colonel, and co-founder and vice president of Greenriver Spiritual Productions Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Moore Smith; a son, Zeke Smith of Yosemite; two daughters, Veronica Yocom and Julia Reid, both of Hustonville; five sisters, Margie Gifford of Stanford, Maxie Lane of Moreland, Francis Russell of Junction City, Shirley Coleman of Fairfield, Ohio, and Merrell Durham of Yosemite; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Opal V. Hale
LIBERTY -- Opal V. Hale, 87, of Liberty died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born April 21, 1913, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late William and Della Wethington King. She was a homemaker and owner of Hale's Grocery. She was the widow of Frebert Hale.
Survivors include three sons, William Hale of Marine City, Mich., Willard Hale of Indianapolis, and Jerry Hale of Danville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Arvin C. Hale.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Revs. Jim Lynn and Jimmy Brown. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dennis, Nelson, Evan, Larry and Danny Hale and Clint Steele.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.

Martha Woodliff
HARRODSBURG -- Memorial services for Martha Woodliff, 49, of Harrodsburg will be 7 p.m. today at Harrodsburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church by officers of the Mercer Ministerial Association. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Troupe, Texas. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Troupe.
She died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born April 15, 1951, in Overton, Texas, she was the daughter of Horace and Agnes Shutlesworth Musselwhite of Texas. She was a secretary of Harrodsburg United Presbyterian Church and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Other survivors include her husband, George Woodliff; a son, Jonathan Woodliff of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Joe and Wilmer Musselwhite, both of Troup; and a sister, Mary Kerr of Tyler, Texas.
Visitation is 4:30-6:30 p.m. today at Harrodsburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church; and Saturday at Cottle Funeral Home in Troup.
Memorials may go to Harrodsburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
