LANCASTER -- Services for Viola Prewitt Lynch, 96, of Lancaster were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Revs. Zora Oliver and Barry Jeffries.
Burial was to be in Lancaster Cemetery.
She died Saturday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital.

STANFORD -- Services for Fredia Delores Coulter Stevenson, 54, of Helm Street were today at First Missionary Baptist Church by the Revs. Floyd Raglin, Robert Coulter Jr. and Jerry Wilkinson.
Burial was in Evergreen Hubble Cemetery.
She died Wednesday at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
She had attended Lincoln High School.
Pallbearers are Al Logan, Richard Sims, William Miller, Donell Smith, Oliver Miller Jr., Jack Smith, George Penman and Cornelius Stevenson.

Christine Preston Daugherty Craig, 71, of Daugherty Road, died Friday at Central Baptist Hospital.
Born Dec. 5, 1929, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late James Warren and Mary Bandy Preston. She was the widow of Garland Daugherty and Joe Craig.
She was a member of Alum Springs First Church of God and was active in its Women's Tuesday Group.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane McKee of Hustonville and Angela Simmons of Berea; three sons, Danny, Wayne and Garland Daugherty, all of Danville; two sisters, Lucille Manning of Danville and Edith Everman of San Antonio; two brothers, Hubert Preston and Hillard Preston, both of Danville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Alum Springs First Church of God by the Rev. Keith Willoughby. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home.

HARRODSBURG -- Nannie Beatrice Covert, 90, of Harrodsburg, died Friday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born March 4, 1910, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Emma Norton Black. She was a homemaker and a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church, where she was a member. She was a member of the Women's Missionary there, and the Homemakers Club.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, Marshall Sanders, Henry T. McCrosky and Will Scott Covert, and a grandson.
Survivors include two sons, Nelson Cleo Sanders of Harrodsburg and Don McCrosky of Lebanon; three daughters, Kathryn Peavler and Jean Wiley, both of Lexington, and Jo Anne Winston of Versailles; two sisters, Lucille Pinkston of Springfield and Dottie Smith of Harrodsburg; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert DeFoor and Terry Morrison. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-6 p.m. today and Monday until time of services.
Pallbearers will be John L. Peavler, Brent Wiley, Mark Winston, Richard Winston, Thomas McCrosky and Matt McCrosky.

Born May, 27, 1904, in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Dave Irvine and Mary Francis P. Prewitt. She was retired from the food service department at General Motors in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church. She was the widow of Oddie Lynch.
Survivors include three sisters, Bertha Conn, Emma Prewitt and Iva Gregory, all of Lancaster.

Clarence Johnson
Services for Clarence "Tombs" Johnson, 89, of North First Street, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Smith-Jackson Funeral Home by the Rev. Dave Chenault. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 8, 1911, in Moreland, he was a son of the late Henry and Sallie Johnson. He had been the bus driver for the Senior Citizens of Danville. He was a member of Christian church.
Survivors include a daughter, Gloria Swearin of Louisville; two sons, Clarence "Benny" Johnson Jr. of Indiana and Nathan L. Johnson of Danville; a brother, Charles Johnson of Danville; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Nardy Key, Michael Logan, Charles Jones and Raymond Houston Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Kwyaskie Johnson and Shannon Loften.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stevenson; and a son, Cedric Coulter.
Survivors include a longtime companion, James Hodgens Sr.; a daughter, Melissa D. Hodgens of Stanford; two sons, Michael Dale Coulter of Danville and James M. Hodgens Jr. of Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Sammy Coulter of Stanford; three sisters, Sue Taylor Coulter of Stanford, Patricia Kellen of Louisville and Regina Ballard of Fort Worth, Texas; and four granddaughters.

NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- Services for Patricia "Patty" Ann Perry Fenwick, 32, of Floyds Knobs, Ind., are 2:30 p.m. today at Northside Christian Church, New Albany. Burial will be in Atkins Chapel Cemetery.
She died Thursday at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
She was formerly of Danville and was a Kentucky School for the Deaf graduate. She was a former Miss Deaf Kentucky winner, 1988-89. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Christian Church, New Albany.
Survivors include her husband, Tim "TF" Fenwick; a daughter, Timi Faith Fenwick; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William "Ed" Perry, and Betty Ann Perry, all of Jeffersonville, Ind.; a brother, Billy Perry of Georgetown, Ind.; and her grandparents.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-1 p.m. today at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes.

Dewey Lee Cummins, 56, of Perryville died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born April 29, 1944, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Angela Freeman Cummins. He was a self-employed painter and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Kaye Davis Cummins; two daughters, Trille Bottom and April Cummins, both of Perryville; two sons, Dewey Brant Cummins of Danville and Thomas Cummins of Perryville; two sisters, Gayle Potts of Pennsylvania and Brenda Carroll of Burgin; seven brothers, Frank and Cecil Cummins, both of Stanford, Mike Cummins of Mitchellsburg, Johnny, Ricky and Timothy Cummins, all of Junction City, and Bradley Cummins of Moreland; and two grandchildren.
