William C. Holman
BRODHEAD -- The Rev. William Craig Holman, 87, of Brodhead died Friday at Rockcastle Hospital.
Born June 23, 1913, in Renfro Valley, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Lina Coffey Holman. He was a Baptist minister and a member of Brodhead Baptist Church and Brodhead Masonic Lodge. He was the widower of Rose E. Holman.
Survivors include two daughters, Maxine Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., and Clara F. Hawkins of Crab Orchard; a brother, Thomas Holman of Lebanon Junction; a sister, Sue Beth Cox of Brodhead; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held Monday at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals by Dan Gutenson and Jack Bruce. Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mark, Steven and Jonathan Johnson, Michael Hawkins, John Holman and Paul Cox. Honorary pallbearers were Don Jones, Owen Edwards, D.M. Aldridge, Delbert Hawkins and John Wilcop.

LIBERTY -- Enid Alene Pallan, 69, of Ludlow died Monday in Covington.
Born May 10, 1931, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Kathleen Doan Sims. She was a seamstress.
Survivors include a son, Steffon Pallon of Crestview Hills; and a daughter, Kathleen E. Barlow of Powell, Ohio.
Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sims Cemetery.
Visitation is after 1 p.m. Thursday.

LIBERTY -- Beulah Rodgers, 80, of Thomas Ridge Road died Monday at her home.
Born Jan. 16, 1920, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Flonnie Childress Luttrell. She was a homemaker, a member of Baldock Chapel Christian Church and the widow of Orlando Rodgers.
Survivors include a son, Glenll Rodgers of Liberty; two daughters, Peggy Harris of Liberty and June Sweet of Morrison, Colo.; a brother, Oris Luttrell of Liberty; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Bryce McCulley. Burial will be in Luttrell Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

MIDDLEBURG -- Clarence Wesley, 77, of Cincinnati died Sunday at his home.
Born May 29, 1923, in Bethelridge, he was the son of the late Harlan and Priscilla Haste Wesley. He was a retired factory worker and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Margie McAninch Wesley; a son, Lonnie Wesley of Cincinnati; a sister, Margaret Rainwater of Bethelridge; a brother, Pat Wesley of Bethelridge; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Brian Janes. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery.

Gracie M. Craft
LANCASTER -- Services for Gracie Mae Craft, 83, of Lancaster will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Duncantown by the Rev. Clay Beasley.
She died Sunday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital.
Born June 4, 1918, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Henrietta Dunn Allen. She was a homemaker and a member of Lancaster Church of God.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Hood of Lancaster and Chenault Hood of Pasadena, Calif. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert E. Hood.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Dunn, Simon Morris, James Black, Walter Anderson and John Thomas.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. Saturday until time of service at the church.

Emmett Wayne Boggs, 87, of Danville died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born April 29, 1913, in Carter County, he was the son of the late Millard and Visa McFarland Boggs. He was retired from Armco Steele.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Williams Boggs; a son, Ralph W. Boggs of Glenwood, W.Va.; and a brother, Orville Boggs of Tallahassee, Fla.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Burgin Cemetery by the Rev. Ivan Shelburne.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Halcomb, Louis Beto, Jim Lester, Roger Trent, Earl Kleckner Jr., Ernest Crown-Weber, Mort Hoagland and Mark Morgan.
There will be no visitation.

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. -- Hallie V. Jones Hilbert, 85, of Jeffersonville died Saturday.
Born Feb. 19, 1915, in Junction City, she was the daughter of the late Hammond and Carrie Gordon Jones.
She was a homemaker and a member of Graceland Baptist Church. She was the widow of Jesse C. Hilbert.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Howard of Georgetown, Ind., Terry Broady of Jeffersonville and Linda Lowe of Borden, Ind.; a stepdaughter, JoAn Farrell of Clarksville, Ind.; a sister, Flossie Naylor of Stanford; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Scott Funeral Home. Burial will be in Abundant Life Memorial Gardens, New Albany, Ind. Visitation is 11 a.m.-8 p.m. today.

ROCKWOOD, Tenn. -- William Clarence Whitehead Sr., 84, of Harriman, Tenn., died Friday.
He was the son of the late Samuel and Gertrude Whitehead and the widower of Hattie M. Whitehead. He was a retired heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include seven sons, William C. Whitehead of Kingston, Tenn., Tommy Whitehead of Harriman, Samuel Whitehead of Harrodsburg, George Whitehead of Danville, James Roberts of Knoxville, Tenn., Eugene Roberts of Augusta, Ga., and Jackie Roberts of Spring City, Tenn.; three daughters, Peggy Cozart of Rockwood and Carolyn Russell and Edna M. Upton, both of Harriman; a sister, Nannie M. Flemmings of Harriman; 43 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Josh Wilcher of Mercer County; two sisters, her twin, Jo Teresa Doss of Lawrenceburg, and Connie Maxfield of Danville; and three brothers, James Wilcher of Danville, Linnie Wilcher of Cocoa, Fla., and Allen Wilcher of Miami, Fla.
Pallbearers will be William Peyton, Danny Bugg, Jimmy Claunch, Connie Maxfield, Jo Teresa Doss, James Wilcher, Kane Frey and George Hellerd. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Bay West.
