Services for James "Harlan" Wilson, 84, of Melrose Drive will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church by Daniel Wilson and the Rev. J. Timothy Mathis. Burial will be in the Old Liberty Cemetery, Bradfordsville.
He died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Pallbearers will be David Wilson, Paul Heady, David Peterson, David Rakes, Bobby Ellis, Arnold King, Richard Wilson and Wilburn Wright.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Brian Ellis, Bruce Kramp, Walter Cummins, Woodrow Wilson, Jesse Wilson, Jeff Jackson, and Carl Roller.

STANFORD -- Services for Jesse Ellis, 76, of Stanford were today at the Family Worship Center by the Rev. David Harris. Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Pallbearers were Tony McDonald, Jim Whitaker, Doug Rayburn, David Bodner, Ron Saylor and Owen Phillips.

He died Saturday at home.

Amos C. Hampton
MORELAND -- Services for Amos Cleo Hampton, 82, of Hustonville were today at Worldstown Church of God by the Rev. Wendell Douglas. Burial was in Hustonville Cemetery.
He died Saturday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lexington.
Born Nov. 27, 1918, in Casey County, he was the son of the late William A. and Mary E. Lay Hampton.
He was a retired farmer and attended Worldstown Church of God. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Davis Hampton of Hustonville; a daughter, Pamela Copley of Russell Springs; a brother, Jim Hampton of Danville; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Shirley and Elmer Richards and Larry, Gene, Bill and William Hampton.

Jean M. Goings
Laura Jean Martin Goings, 76, of Frankfort, formerly of Danville, died Friday at Danville Center for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born Sept. 9, 1924, in Akron, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Sarah Gaddis Martin. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Russell Goings; and two daughters, Candy Goings and Joan Wesley.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Goings Phillips of Frankfort; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Arlis Luttrell. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Monday.
Pallbearers will be Don Hymer, Danny Brewer, Eugene Hardin, Dickie Bodner, Bob Funkhouser and Dudley Hardin. Honorary pallbearers are Tracy Southworth, Michael Phillips, Cindy Dalton and Steve Wesley.

Matthew D. Hale
Matthew Dewayne "Wayne" Hale, 51, of Imperial Drive, died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 17, 1949, in Danville, he was a son of Dollie Baxter Hale of Nicho-lasville and the late Gil-bert Lee Hale. He was a automotive parts clerk at Owens Chevrolet and Whitehouse-Humphrey Chrysler Plymouth. He was a member of Worldstown Road Church of God and the Wilderness Masonic Lodge F&AM No. 28.
Additional surivvors include three daughters, Sherry Smith, Angela Crockett and Bridgett Hale, all of Danville; two sons, Ricky Hale and Michael Hale, both of Danville; a sister, Chelsea Wade of Nicholasville; three brothers, Lonnie, Jerry and Jackie Hale, all of Nicholasville; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Wendell Douglas. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Casey County.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday.

James Harlan "Harlan" Wilson, 84, of Melrose Drive, died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 27, 1916, in Bradfordsville, he was a son of the late Clem Rawlings and Betty Followell Wilson. He was the widower of Martha Overstreet Wilson. He was a member of Sycamore Church of Christ in Forkland.
He served as an Army sergeant in the European Theater during World War II. He was a former teacher at Caney School in Bradfordsville, 1939-1942, where he taught eight grades in a one-room schoolhouse. He operated Wilson Brothers store in Gravel Switch from 1947 to 1960. He was a farmer and a security guard at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
Survivors include a son, Jack Wilson of Danville; and two grandsons.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church by Daniel Wilson and the Rev. J. Timothy Mathis. Burial will be in the Old Liberty Cemetery, Bradfordsville.

LEBANON -- Zula E. Manual Cheatham, 92, of Gravel Switch, died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 25, 1908, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late Gilliam and Lucy Sutherland Shepperson. She was a homemaker and a member of Doctor's Fork Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Thomas Manual and John W. "Bill" Cheatham.
Survivors include a brother, Gilliam Alva of Perryville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. today at Bosley Funeral Home by the Revs. John David Lane and Jerry Lanham. Burial will be in Ryder Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Lynda Tussey Ellis; two sons, Jesse Dean Ellis and Delbert Ellis, both of Indiana; four daughters, Connie, Sue, Mary and Tammy Ellis, all of Indiana; a brother, Freeman Ellis of Illinois; two sisters, Ola McGuire of Beckley, W.V., and Edith McDonald of Daniels, W.V.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Family Worship Center by the Rev. David Harris. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
