SCIENCE HILL -- Lynn Earl Cameron, 81, of Waynesburg, died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born July 4, 1919, in Jefferson City, Tenn., he was a son of the late Alonza and Mary Maggie Cox Cameron. He was a laborer, and a janitor and school bus driver for the Pulaski County school system.
He was a member of Woodstock Baptist Church in Somerset and American Legion Post No. 38 and a Navy veteran. He was the widower of Gloria Cameron.
Survivors include five sons, Danny Cameron of Stanford, James Cameron of Shopville, Lon Cameron of Nicholasville, Steven Bousan of Birmingham, Ind., and Ronnie Howard of Loveland, Ohio; 11 daughters, Elsie Denney and Diana Correll, both of Lancaster, Peggy Denney and Gloria Dykes, both of Waynesburg, Barbara Whitis and Vicki Whitis, both of Somerset, Bonnie Coomer of Nancy, Debbie Tomlison of Bronston, Bonnie Pelliter of Mechanic Falls, Maine, Mary Newell of Chester, Ohio and Alice Hashman of St. Mary's, W.V.; 35 grandchildren; and 24 great grand-children.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. C.E. Hansford. Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery, Somerset.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday.

Ruth H. Sims
WILLIAMSBURG, Ohio -- Ruth Hourigan Sims, 77, of Batavia, Ohio, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Friday at Hospice of Cincinnati.
Born, Oct. 14, 1923, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late James Robert and Clydia Bell Rexroat Hourigan. She was the wife of Edgar "Fuzzy" Sims.
Additional survivors include a son, Danny Sims of Ohio; a daughter, Barbara Potrafke of Ohio; six grandchildren; a sister, Mary Helen Zeliff of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Horace Hourigan of Harrodsburg and Thomas Hourigan of Springfield; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Maham Funeral Home in Williamsburg, Ohio. Burial will be in Williamsburg Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Monday and after 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Services for Anne Lewis Rodman are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home by the Revs. Thomas K. Farmer and Richard P. Guerrant. A private burial will be held in Bellevue Cemetery.
She died Friday at Danville Centre of Health and Rehabilitation.
She was a graduate of Mary Baldwin Seminary in Staunton, Va., and attended Stetson University in Florida and Columbia University in New York. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority.

Anne Lewis Rodman of O'Hara Drive died today at Danville Centre of Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Robert K. Lewis and Evelyn Guerrant Lewis Curry. She was a homemaker and attended Stetson University and Columbia University. She was a member of the Garden Club of Danville and The Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harrison C. Rodman; two daughters, Sue Rodman of Danville and Evelyn R. Pierce of West Chester, Pa., a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Stith Funeral Home. A private burial will be held in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Stith Funeral Home.

Margie M. Hanson
STANFORD -- Margie M. Hanson, 92, of Nicholasville, formerly of Hustonville, died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born Nov. 13, 1908, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late William T. and Lillie Sams Murphy. She was a retired employee of Corning Glass Works in Danville and was a member of the Hustonville Christian Church. She was a valedictorian of the class 1927 graduating at Hustonville High School. She was the widow of Jerome Hanson.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Musselman of Nicholasville; a son, Bill M. Hanson of Shelbyville; one sister, Sara Burns of Franklin, Ohio; two granddaughters; a great-grandson; and her caregivers, Kathy Hapney, Edna Ensminger, Emma Atkins, Barbara Metzger and Ashley McCoy.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home by Don Burton. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Middleton, Jim Ensminger, Brad Elder, Dan Poynter, Brad Morgan and Kenny McCoy.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Saturday.

STANFORD -- Services for Carl A. Carter Jr. 81, of Stanford will be 2:30 p.m. today at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18, American Legion.
He died Thursday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born July 3, 1919, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Carl A. and Lucy Lee Walton Carter. He was a retired newspaper press operator for The Lexington Herald-Leader, and a member of Stanford Christian Church. He was a World War II Army veteran; a life member of Danville Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3634; a member of Stanford American Legion and International Typographical Union. He also was a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Sprinkles Carter; a son, Brad Carter of Stanford; a brother, Ed Carter of Wilmore; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bill C. Carter.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Rhodes, George "Tubby" Carpenter, Roger Wilson, William Eubank and Robert Taylor and Buckwheat Gilbert.
Honorary pallbearers are members of VFW Post 3634.

STANFORD -- Services for Juanita Pearl Johnson, 76, of Stanford will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Johnny Adamson. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
She died Wednesday at Stanford House nursing home.
Born Aug. 18, 1924, in Antwerp Township, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Archie and Faye Austin Stuart. She was a retired home decorator, and a member and founder of Greenfield and Hancock County (Indiana) Humane Society, and founder and past president of Lincoln County Humane Society. She was the widow of Fred Johnson.
Survivors include three brothers, Walter Stuart of Springs, Texas, Emerson Williams of Paisley, Fla., and Tony Ely of Stanford; and a sister, Nora Anderson of Kalamazoo, Mich.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Visitation 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday.
