Services for Robert James "Rob" Elks, 45, of Lannock Drive will be 11 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Donnie Releford.
Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
He died Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital.
Born July 12, 1955, in Wichita, Kan., he was the son of William C. Elks of Morehead and Frances L. Wolfenbarger Elks of Lexington.
He was service technician manager for Jack Mann Scales Inc., Lexington. He was a deacon at Dry Branch Baptist Church and a 1973 graduate of Pulaski County High School.
Survivors include his wife, Libby Voorhies Elks; two daughters, Kristina Elks and Stephanie Elks, both of Danville; a brother, William "Butch" Elks of Lexington; and three sisters, Darlene Atwood and Susan Cameron, both of Lexington, and Kim Fields of Lancaster.
Pallbearers will be Bill Atwood, Curt and Matt Elks, R.C. Cameron, Lane Stevens and Larry Stagner.
Honorary pallbearers are employees of Jack Mann Scales.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today.
Memorials may go to the American Cancer Society or Dry Branch Baptist Church.

STANFORD -- Services for Perry Noland, 76, of Phillips Court will be 11 a.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home by Stewart Dawson. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at Fort Logan Hospital.
Born April 5, 1924, in Estill County, he was the son of the late A.V. and Anna Park Noland. He was a farmer and a member of Hebron United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Long Noland; five sons, Gary, Perry G., Greg, Jerry and Steve Noland, all of Stanford; a sister, Jessie Leece of Piqua, Ohio; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and four stepgranddaughters.
Pallbearers will be Mike and Jim Long, Eugene Vanhook, and Brandon, Gary and Craig Noland.

He died Monday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Born May 30, 1925, in Casey County, he was the son of the late James and Lena Reed Taylor.
He was a mechanic, member of Hustonville Church of God, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Taylor; two sons, James Taylor of Lancaster and Silas Taylor Jr. of Lexington; two daughters, Jane Poirer of Springfield and Regina Taylor of Stanford; a half brother, Arthur Selch of Casey County; two sisters, Georgie Woodrum of Danville and Mary Watts of Indiana; a half sister, Lillie Reed of Burgin; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Staten, Sammy Burns, Chris Smith, Jerry Selch, Boone Stidham and Justin Lynn.

Born July 24, 1931, in Jefferson County, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Sarah Murray Mills. She was a retired executive secretary for Thousand Islands Central school system in New York; a member of the Catholic church and the widow of Richard Rearick.
Survivors include a brother, Richard Mills of Danville.

Born Feb. 8, 1942, in Covington, he was a son of the late Grover C. and Mary Rash Dudley Miracle. He was an employee of Matsushita for 28 years and a member of Harris Creek Baptist Church in Moreland.
Survivors include his wife, Cleo Lewis Miracle; two sons, Jim Fields of Lancaster and David Miracle of Nicholasville; three daughters, Lisa Ledford of Wilmore, Mary Simpson of Crab Orchard and Rebecca Logsdon of Nicholasville; a sister, Jeannie Marsala of Cincinnati; and 16 grandchildren.

LIBERTY -- Velma Frances Woodrum, 73, of Whipp Avenue died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 25, 1927, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Tommy and Mary Bell Brown Coffman. She was a homemaker and an employee of McDonalds restaurant, a member of Christ Tabernacle Church and the widow of Elmer Woodrum.
Survivors include four sisters, Gladys Coppage, Faye Crew, Emma Jean Warren and Shirley Hundley, all of Liberty.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Wayne Naylor. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery.

Born Sept. 16, 1927, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Angeline Cain Rogers. She was a member of Pentecostal Fellowship Church in Lancaster.
