Brook White
OWENSBORO -- Brook Forrest White, 55, of Owensboro died Monday at Owensboro Mercy Health System.
Born in Ephrata, Pa., he was founder and president of Absolute Systems Inc. He was an Army veteran having served in Vietnam and was the recipient of the Bronze Star and several unit medals.
He was a master parachutist and instructor. He also had been an industrial engineer and fuel supply manager at ALCOA.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Coomes White; his father, Robert V. Simmons of Middletown, Pa.; two sisters, Monique E. Simmons and Roberta Maurer, both of Ephrata; two sons, Brook F. White Jr. of Danville and Christopher R. White of Owensboro; a daughter, Wendy L. White of Owensboro; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Bruner of Louisville; three stepsons, Jeremy Eades of Florence, Kevin Eades of Dayton, Ohio, and Tony Eades of Fort Carson, Colo.; and a stepgranddaughter.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. today at Glenn Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
Memorials may go to the Hospice Association or a church of one's choice.

Martha Jones
Services for Martha Fisher Jones, 88, of Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation will be noon Friday at First Baptist Church, Second and Walnut streets, by the Revs. Mackey Daniels and Richard Hill.
Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery.
She died Tuesday.
Born March 19, 1912, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late George and Lettie M. Fisher. She was a caterer and a member of West Chestnut Baptist Church in Louisville. She also was a Sunday school teacher and member of the Baptist Training Union and the Missionary Society. She had served as a volunteer for the elderly and was the widow of Burnice F. Jones.
Survivors include a brother, John F. Fisher of Cincinnati; and a sister, Helen Fisher Frye of Danville.
Pallbearers will be officers of West Chestnut Baptist Church.
Honorary pallbearers are deacons and officers of West Chestnut Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Danville.
Visitation is 11 a.m. Friday until time of service at the church.
Smith-Jackson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lloyd Martin
STANFORD -- Services for Lloyd Martin, 85, of Peck Hollow Road, Hustonville, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home by Billy Brown. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
He died Monday at Fort Logan Hospital.
Born May 26, 1915, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Obie L. and Minnie McCowan Martin. He was a former employee of the Stanford Creamery, a farmer and carpenter. He was the widower of Hallie M. Floyd Martin.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Martin and John Martin, both of Hustonville; two daughters, Brenda Martin of Hustonville and Phyllis Pittman of Waynesburg; a sister, Lorene Stonebraker of Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, James and Earl Martin.
Pallbearers will be Lucien Camel, Lonnie Brown, Jerry Martin, David Martin, Christopher Martin and Don Martin.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.

Born Feb. 25, 1927, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Milton and Claudia Buchanan Dever. He was a retired farmer, member of Stanford First Church of God, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Anderson Dever; a daughter, Rhonda Phillips of Stanford; a brother, Russell Dever of Waynesburg; a sister, Thelma Cissi of Clearwater, Fla.; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.

Norman Pinkston
HARRODSBURG -- Norman Pinkston, 70, of Harrodsburg died Sunday at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington.
Born Oct. 16, 1930, in Paducah, he was the son of the late L.C. and Viola Reed Pinkston. He was a retired press operator for Corning Glass. He was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Carmickle Pinkston; two sons, Roger Pinkston and Doug Long, both of Harrodsburg; two brothers; two sisters; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Don Releford. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Born June 8, 1927, in Breathitt County, she was the daughter of the late Woodie and Bertha Lockard Spencer. She was a homemaker and a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Singleton; four sons, Gary Singleton of Danville, Tim Singleton of Ridgecrest, Calif., Kevin D. Singleton of Waynesburg and Darren Singleton of Liberty; four daughters, Iris A. Dugger of London, Debra Long and Lana McGuffey, both of Highland, and Jeanie Mullins of Yosemite; a brother, Earl Spencer of Waynesburg; a sister, Montie Kilburn of Waynesburg; 22 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Enoch Harry Williamson, 90, of Murfreesboro died Friday at Adams Place Health Care Center.
Born Sept. 24, 1910, he was the son of the late Enoch and Mahlor E. Fotter Williamson. He was retired from Heidelberg College and had been a purchasing agent and bookstore manager. He was the widow of Willie L. Williamson.
Survivors Include a son, Eugene Williamson of Augusta, Ga.; a daughter, Alice Berka of Danville; two sisters, Lucille Kelley of Farmington, Maine, and Gertrude Ready of Augusta, Maine; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were Sunday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Christopher Heying. Burial will be in Wards Grove Cemetery.
