LANCASTER -- Services for Doxie Clark Cox, 90, of Lancaster will be 2 p.m. today at Spurlin Funeral Home by Everett Priddy. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
She died Saturday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital.

Richard Kimberlin
Richard Kimberlin, 81, of Lexington, formerly of Danville, died Friday at his residence.
Born Feb. 7, 1921, in Boyle County, he was a son of the late Isaiah Electious and Mary Estes Kimberlin. He was a carpenter and millwright, and a member of Carpenter's Union Local No. 1650. He was a graduate of Danville High School and a member of Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Glenn Arms Kimberlin; two daughters, Kay Sweeney of Maitland, Fla., and Sue Billings of Springfield; two sisters, Ruth Kimberlin and Christine Webb, both of Danville; a brother, Harold Kimberlin of Danville; four granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Raymond W. Gibson. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Monday.

LIBERTY -- Mabel Geraldine Asbery, 85, of Mount Washington, formerly of Hustonville, died Thursday in Louisville.
Born Aug. 24, 1917, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Albert W. and Myrtle Cochran Vanoy. She was self-employed and a member of Slate Hill Methodist Church.
She was the widow of John K. Asbery.
Survivors include two daughters, Joan Holt of Mount Washington and Wilma Watson of Mason, Ohio; two sons, Leroy Asbery of Stanford and Garnett Ray Asbery of Round Rock, Texas; three sisters, Lydia Clark of Yosemite, and Geneva Wilson and Avenell Murphy, both of Liberty; three brothers, Eulis Vanoy of Florida, and Russell and Charles Vanoy, both of Warsaw; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services are 2:30 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral by Van Morris. Burial is in Hustonville Cemetery.
Visitation is after 7 a.m. today.

Gladys P. Sexton
HARRODSBURG -- Gladys Pearl Sexton, 90, of Wildwood Road, died Saturday at Harrodsburg Health Care Center.
Born June 16, 1912, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Winfield and Eliza Belle Freeman Nave. She was a lifetime member of Burgin Christian Church and a homemaker.
She was the widow of Fred L. Sexton.
Survivors include a son, Donald L. "Bud" Sexton Sr. of Danville; a daughter, Wilma Jean Wills of Lancaster; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeannette Lucas. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Donald Sexton Jr., Donald Sexton III, Brian Michael Sexton, Phillip, David and Robert Wills, and Joseph Constanzo.

Services for Irene Preston Hodge, 76, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Junction City, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by Mike Spurr. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.
She died Friday in Columbus.
Born March 7, 1926, in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Virgie S. and Charles W. Preston Sr. She was a retired dry cleaners employee.
She was the widow of Blaine Hodge and was predeceased by a grandchild.
Survivors include three daughters, Marlene McElroy of Canada, Patricia Hodge of Campbellsville and Margaret Story of Waynesburg; two sisters, Lucille Spurr of Nicholasville and Corrine Barnowski of Downers Grove, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Coleman and Raymond Phillips.

Born July 25, 1942, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of Lula Maddox May of Danville and the late Frank Wright. She was a retired employee of Matthew's Conveyer and a member of Junction City First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Ever Ready Sunday School Class. She was a United Way volunteer and a member of the Gardening Club at Matthew's Conveyer.
She was the widow of Richard Hundley.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Southerland of Stanford; three sons, Vance Curtsinger of Danville, Kelly Curtsinger of Nicholasville and Tim Curtsinger of Junction City; four sisters, Sue Gammon, Cookie Burger and Belle Mattingly, all of Danville, and Jean Burge of Niniveh, Ind.; six grandchildren; and her former husband, Hezekiah Curtsinger of Morehead.
