Isaiah W. Haines

LIBERTY -- Isaiah William Haines, 4, of Ashley Drive died Thursday at his residence.

Born Aug. 2, 1998, in Indianapolis, Ind., he was the son and stepson of Christina Diane Minnick and William Jason Lee.

Survivors include a brother, Matthew Thompson; maternal grandparents, Bill and Diane Menchhoter of Greenwood, Ind., and Tony Paul Minnick of Frankfort; and paternal grandparents, Harley and Clara Lee of Liberty.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bartle Funeral Home by James Burris and Raymond Lee. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Minnick, Darrell Brown, Loren Brown, Byron Brown, Gene McQueary and Pete McQueary. Honorary pallbearers will be Micah Webb and Matthew Thompson.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.

Hazel V. Edwards

LANCASTER -- Hazel Vanderpool Edwards, 89, of Colony Road died Saturday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 11, 1913, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late George William and Hattie Duncan Vanderpool. She was a retired secretary of Garrard County Farm Bureau after 22 years and at The Central Record after 10 years. She was a member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church and the Garrard County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and the widow of Harry P. Edwards.

Survivors include a sister, Louise Tudor of Lancaster; two stepdaughters, Jessie Edwards Sparks of California and Evelyn Edwards Broadus of Lancaster; a stepson, Marshall Edwards of Danville; seven step grandchildren; 12 step great-grandchildren; and five step great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Revs. Jerry Browning, Leon Greer and Bobby Brooks. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Preston, Mike Vanderpool, Rusty Watkins, Tony Watkins, Sammy Watkins and Fred Culbertson. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.

Memorials may go to Forks of Dix River Baptist Church.

Seth M. Garner

LANCASTER -- Seth Michael Garner, three weeks old, died Friday at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Born Oct. 4, 2002, in Stanford, he was the son of Robert and Marci Logan Garner of Paint Lick.

Survivors include his maternal grandparents, Janet Oliver Johnson of Scottsville and Mark J. and Teresa Logan of Bowling Green; paternal grandparents, James Michael and Pamela Gay Garner of Paint Lick; maternal great-grandfather, James Q. Oliver of Scottsville; paternal great-grandparents, Ervin Ward and Mary Catherine Garner of Bowling Green; and great-great-grandfather, Otho Brown of Dexter, Mo.

Services will be noon Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home by Frank Cleaver. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today.

Kathy R. Hazlett

STANFORD -- Kathy Rose Hazlett, 51, of Lancaster Street, Stanford, died Friday at her home.

Born Jan. 29, 1951, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of Annie Steel Hazlett Francis of Wichita, Kan.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Garry Allen. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.

Pallbearers will be John Hazlett, David Hazlett, Danny Hazlett, Garry Allen II, Garry Allen III, Harry Hazlett, Jack Hazlett and Dennis Weiskircher. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Gentiva Health Services in Danville.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Ethel B. Streeval

Services for Ethel Bray Streeval, 83, of Clear Fork Road, Waynesburg, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Mike Mullins. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Wayne Boling, Chad Roller, Sean Pike, Hollis Pike, James Murphy and Jerry Calhoun.

She died Wednesday at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington. Born Feb. 14, 1919, in Adair County, she was the daughter of the late Harlan and Susie Sinclair Bray. She had pressed records at RCA in Indianapolis. She was the widow of Owen Streeval. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a quilter.

Survivors include two daughters, Deloris Murphy and Shirley Pike, both of Waynesburg; two sons, James "Jackie" Boling of Danville and David Streeval of Waynesburg; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.

Nellie B. Wheat

MIDDLEBURG -- Services for Nellie Francis Brumbley Wheat, 82, of Middleburg will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bartle Funeral Home by Marvin Rose. Burial will be in Willow Springs Cemetery.

She died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born May 3, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John Brumbley and Rosa Brown Brumbley. She was a homemaker and the widow of Earnest Lee Wheat.

Survivors include four daughters, Mae Morgan and Patsy Wheat, both of Middleburg, Louise Curtsinger of Moreland and Bessie Worley of Russell Springs; a son, Ray Lee Wheat of Liberty; two brothers, Riley and Lonnie Brumbley, both of Jamestown; two sisters, Opal and Jane Brown, both of Jamestown; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Lewis Wheat, and a daughter, Loreta Wheat.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Wheat, Lewis Dewayne Wheat, Ricky Simpson, Larry Scott, Michael George and Charlie Irving. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Justin Lynn, Cody Lee Lynn and Jordan Blake Wheat.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.

PERRYVILLE -- Geniece Toombs Gibson, 78, of Buckner Street died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Martin Lee Gibson. Arrangements are incomplete at Wilder Funeral Home.

General E. Noe

McKEE -- General Edwin Noe, 82, of Annville, formerly of McKinney, died Tuesday at his home.

Born Nov. 24, 1919, in Clay County, he was the son of the late Chris and Polly Noe. He was a minister of the Holiness faith and held services in Boyle and Lincoln counties for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ticher Noe; three sons, James H. Noe and David Noe, both of Annville, and Eddie Noe of Danville; two daughters, Ann Gabbard and Martha House, both of Annville; a sister, Leola Huffman of Junction City; and two brothers, Vernal Greer and Abe Sams Jr., both of Indiana. He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Noe.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lakes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Seven Pines Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.

John Tary

YORBA LINDA, Calif. -- John Tary, 88, of Yorba Linda, formerly of Danville, died Oct. 14.

He was a former quality control manager at American Greetings Co. in Danville.

Survivors include his wife, Hermina Tary; two sons, Peter Lanyi of Yorba Linda and Steven Lanyi of Arizona; two daughters, Georgine Lanyi of Arizona and Linda Lanyi of Yorba Linda; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may go to the Alzheimer's Association.

James Russell

Services for James Albert "Jimmy" Russell, 87, of Danville will be 2 p.m. Friday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by Gary Story. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.

He died Tuesday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Harmon, Bobby Newby, Joe Greer, James Yates, Gile Cochran and Jimmy Overstreet.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Sam Reid, Joe Clarke, George Biles, Norman Bartleson, Donald Spoonamore, Chris Preston and Gene Cline.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m.

WAYNESBURG -- Services for Robert L. Foley, 70, of Hurricane Road will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home by Robert Collins. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.

He died Tuesday at Lake Cumberland Hospital in Somerset.

Born July 18, 1932, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Willie and Mittie Foley. He was a retired maintenance employee for Christian Appalachian Project in Lancaster for 18 years and an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Fay Cornett Foley; two sons, Larry G. Stull of Kings Mountain and William L. Cornett of Florida; a daughter, Jeanie F. Warfield of Eubank; a brother, Melvin D. Foley of Stanford; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday.

Robert Woodall

STANFORD -- Services for Robert Woodall, 59, of River Drive will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home by James Humphrey. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

He died Tuesday at Stanford House nursing home.

Born June 30, 1943, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Ed and Anna Mullins Woodall. He was a farmer and attended Lighthouse Tabernacle Church.

Survivors include three sisters, Virginia Johnson of Stanford, Helen Frazier of Concord, N.C., and Judy Ingles of Lancaster; a brother, Gene Woodall of Stanford.

Pallbearers will be Anthony and Jamie Harness, Jason and Frank Kilby Jr., and Gary, Michael, Alberta and Jerry Woodall.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.
